SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read this instruction manual carefully, before operating your car radio and
retain the manual for future use.
Unit mounting location
Choose a mounting location where the unit will not interfere with the normal driving
functions of the driver.
Install the unit where it does not get in the driver´s way and cannot injure any
passengers if there is sudden braking, such as an emergency stop.
Installation
If you want to install the car radio yourself, please read the advice for installation
and connection in this manual.
CD player
The C player is a Class 1 laser product. The unit is equipped with a safety system
that prevents the emergence of dangerous laser beams during normal operation.
To avoid injury to the eyes, do not manipulate or damage the safety system of the
unit.

INSTALLATION
Safety precaution
· Choose the mounting location where the unit will not interfere with the normal
driving functions of the driver.
· Before finally installing the unit, connect the wiring temporarily and make sure
it is all connected up properly and the unit and the system works properly.
· Use only the parts included with the unit to ensure proper installation and
operation. The use of unauthorised parts can cause malfunctions and possible
damage.
· Consult with your nearest in-car entertainment dealer if installation requires
the drilling of holes or other modifications to the vehicle.
· Install the unit where it does not get in the driver´s way and cannot injure any
passengers if there is sudden braking, such as an emergency stop.
· If the installation angle exceeds 30° from horizontal, the unit might not perform
at its optimum performance. C skipping may occur.
· Avoid installing the unit where it can be subjected to high temperatures, such
as from direct sunlight, or from hot air, from the heater, or where it can be
subject to dust, dirt or excessive vibration
DIN front mount
This unit can be properly installed from Front (conventional IN Front-mount).
For details, refer to the following illustrated installation method.
Before installing the unit, please remove the two
transport screws.

INSTALLATION
Installation Dashboar Opening
The unit can be installed in any vehicle
dashboard with an opening as shown :
Installing the unit
Be sure you test all connections first. Then follow these steps to install the unit.
1. Make sure the vehicle ignition is turned off, then disconnect the cable from the
vehicle battery´s negative (-) terminal.
2. isconnect the wire harness and the antenna.
3. Insert fingers into the groove in the right side of the outer trim ring and pull out
to remove it. (You can also remove the outer trim ring from the left side.)
4. The two supplied keys release tabs
inside the unit's sleeve so you can
remove it. Insert the keys as far as
they will go (with the notches facing
up) into the appropriate slots at the
middle left and right sides of the unit.
Then slide the sleeve off the back of the
unit.
5. Mount the sleeve by inserting the sleeve
into the opening of the dashboard and
bend open the tabs located around the
sleeve with a screwdriver. Not all tabs will
be able to make contact, so examine which
ones will be most effective. Bending open
the appropriate tabs behind the dashboard
to secure the sleeve in place.
6. Reconnect the wire harness and the antenna
and be careful not to pinch/catch any wires
or cables.
7. Slide the unit into the sleeve until it locks
into place.

INSTALLATION
8. To further secure the unit, use the supplied
metal strap to secure the back of the unit
in place. Use the supplied hardware (Hex
Nut M5mm and Spring Washer) to attach
one end of the strap to the mounting bolt
on the back of the unit.
If necessary, bend the metal strap to fit your
vehicle's mounting area. Then use the supplied
hardware (Tapping Screw 5x25mm and Plain
Washer) to attach the other end of metal strap
to a solid metal part of the vehicle under the
dashboard.
This strap also helps ensure proper electrical grounding of the unit. Reconnect the
cable to the vehicle battery´s negative (-) terminal. Then replace the outer trim ring.
Removing the unit
1. Make sure the ignition is turned off, then
disconnect the cable from the vehicle
battery's negative (-) terminal.
2. Remove the metal strap attached to the
back of the unit (if attached)
3. Insert the release frame key into the groove
at the right side of the frame, then
prize out to remove the frame. (You can
also use the key to remove the frame
from the left side.)
4. After releasing the frame, insert the release
unit keys (supplied with the unit) into the
grooves at both sides of the unit as shown
in this figure until you hear a click sound.
Pulling the keys enables you to remove the
unit from the dashboard.

THE DETACHABLE FRONT PANEL
To deta h the front panel
1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the
front panel. The front panel will flip down
and you can see the C -compartment.
2. Move the RELEASE button on the front
panel to the left, and pull on the front
panel to detach it from the unit.
3. For safekeeping, always store the front
panel in the supplied protective case
immediately after being removed.
To re-atta h the front panel
1. Place the front panel over the bracket and push it towards the unit, a 'click'
sound should be heard.
2. Note that if the front panel fails to lock in position properly, you probably didnt
place the panel at the correct angle.
Pre autions when handling
1. o not drop the front panel.
2. o not apply pressure on the display or control buttons when detaching or
re-attaching the front panel.
3. o not touch the metal contacts on the front panel or on the main unit body.
It may result in poor electricalal contacts.
4. If any dirt or foreign substances stick to the metal contacts, they can be removed
with a clean, dry cloth.
5. o not expose the front panel to high temperatures or direct sunlight
6. Keep the front panel surface away from any volatile agents (e.g. benzene, thinner
or insecticides).
7. o not attempt to disassemble the front panel.

INSTALLATION
Panel angle a justment (optional)
You can adjust the panel angle for easy viewing.
Adjusting faceplate angle:
Press the Button OPEN/ CLOSE to flip the front panel down. Press the button ANGLE
on the front of the C compartment to selct the panel angle. Adjustment may be
made from 0 to 2.
After you have set the angle, press OPEN/ CLOSE again.
Note:
· Firmly sli e the switch until it clicks.
· Do not apply excessive force to the panel un er settings 1 or 2.
· Set the angle a justment switch to 0 before removing the panel.
