ADVARSEL

IGC (Intelligent Gas Control)

brugsvejledning).

Gastest

i strømkildens brugsvejledning).

Statusindikator (7)

Efterse CAN-

forsyningskabel og -stik.

• Tændt lysdiode: RWF er aktiv.

AIR Clean (luftrens) (1+2)

elektrisk kontrakt, hvorefter robotten automatisk

justerer svejsepositionen før lysbuetænding.

Kollisionsbeskyttelse til robot controller (10)

Signal til kollisionsbeskyttelse muliggør tilkobling af mekanisk

sikring på robotbrænderen. Denne forhindrer, at brænderen

integreret robotinterface.

Nærmere beskrivelse af TOUCH sensing og Kollisionsbeskyttelse

kan ses i SIGMA SELECT Robo manualen (varenr. 50115056).

tilstopning.

Kontroller at køleslangerne er korrekt tilsluttet,

efterfyld vandbeholderen og efterse svejseslange og

tilslutningsstudser. Kølefejlen afmeldes med et kort

tryk på P-knappen.

Gasfejl (IGC)

vist herunder.

SD-kort kan bestilles på varenummer 78861297.

Software opdatering

• Indsæt SD-kortet

• Tænd maskinen

• Vent indtil enheden

indikerer, at opdatering

er afsluttet

• Sluk maskinen og tag

SD-kortet ud

• Maskinen er nu klar til

brug

The RWF30 unit is supplied ready for use with

SIGMASELECT in both standard and robotic setups.

It is possible to connect up to three RWF30 units to a

welding machine/power source.

Wire inching forward/return

When idling, wire inching can be activated by pressing

one of the keys or activated at the robot interface, if

the RWF30 unit is used in a robot setup.

IGC (Intelligent Gas Control)

The RWF30 unit is supplied with IGC, a function for

dynamic flow rate adjustment according to welding

job. Set the gas flow at 2-6 bar.

Calibrate the IGC flow at the remote control unit (see

user guide for detailed description).

Gas test

The gas flow test function can be activated at the

robot interface or by pressing the gas test key on

the remote control unit (see user guide for detailed

description).

Status indicator (7)

• LED off: RWF is not active. Use robot interface or

connected torch to activate the RWF unit.

• Flashing LED: RWF is active but not CAN-connected

to the power source. Check the CAN-mains cable

and mains plug.

• LED on: RWF is active.

AIR Clean (1+2)

If the RWF unit is used along with an integrated robot

interface, it is possible to connect a compressor unit

for cleaning the gas nozzle. Set the compressed air and

use the robot interface for control.

TOUCH Sensing (11)

For welded seam localization; this function is

applicable if the RWF unit is used in an integrated

robot interface setup and uses welding wire or a

contact tip to create electrical contact. The robot

automatically adjusts the welded seam position prior

to arc ignition.

Collision protection for robot controller (10)

The collision protection function enables connection of a

mechanical fuse to the robot torch. This prevents the torch from

getting out of calibration in case of collision with a workpiece.

The function is only applicable if the RWF unit is used in an

integrated robot interface setup.

For more information about TOUCH Sensing and Collision

protection, please refer to the SIGMA SELECT Robo manual

(50115056).

Connection and operation

Error handling

Torch cooling fault

Cooling fault is indicated on machines in case of

insufficiant circulation of the cooling liquid due to

faulty connection, defective parts or choking. Check

that the cooling hoses are correctly connected, top up

the water tank and check welding hose and branches.

The cooling fault is cancelled by pressing shortly on

the P-key pad.

Gas control fault (IGC)

Gas fault exists due to a to low or high gas flow.

Make sure that the pressure on the gas flow is higher

than 2 bar and less than 6 bar, corresponding to higher

than 5 l/min and less than 27 l/min.

The fault is disconnected by adjusting the manual

gas flow to 27 l/min. The gas fault is reset by a short

pressure on the P-key pad.
