full Multicom manual is available --> bit.ly/mc3gman.
1. Mount the Panel

housing.
Mounting or
placement inside the
existing alarm panel
housing requires the
provided y lead to
be attached and the
included antenna to
be mounted to the
top of the panel.
Drill Bit Size - 7mm
Note: If the BMC-3G is being installed in a
poor signal area, please consider using
a high-gain antenna available from your
Multicom supplier.
2. Connect to the Bosch Panel
The BMC-3G connects directly to the Bosch panel
as shown in the wiring diagram below.
If the12V auxiliary power output is unable to supply

3. Auto programming/Conguration (Solution 3000)
When the Multicom BMC-3G is rst connected to
the Bosch Alarm panel bus and powered up, it
will attempt to program the settings required for
correct alarm communications (RSC password
/ Installer code must match). This is done
automatically using the same method as a direct
connection (DLA USB Serial) and A Link.

If auto programming fails due to mismatch
RSC password/installer code. Then you can
re-initiate auto-programming by removing the
Add jumper, wait 5 seconds, then replace.
IMPORTANT For correct operation of all functions, any
changes to the RSC password (722) or Installer Code (21)
must also be programmed in TechTools Option 38 and 39
to allow the Multicom access to the 3000-series SDI2 Bus.

4. BMC-3G Programming
The BMC-3G program settings for the RSC
Password and Bosch Installer code must match the
settings programmed in the Solution panel to allow
communication on the SDI2 Bus. These settings
can be changed in the BMC-3G via Techtools, or,
during commissioning (see below)
Details for programming via TechTools are covered in
the section “Program the Multicom”
1. PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING
When a user requests arm/disarm, the
AlarmLINK app will not show the request
was successful until the open/close report
is received at the monitoring center. These
reports are also used to sync the AlarmLINK app
so the user can verify if the panel is currently
armed or disarmed.
The Bosch panel will not generate the open/
close reports until AFTER the exit and entry
delays so the user will experience spinning
wheel while waiting for the open/close report
to be delivered. If the reports are not enabled
the customer will experience a timeout after
2 minutes and, the arm/disarm state will not
synchronise correctly on the AlarmLINK app.
Bosch solution 3000 programming for exit and
entry delay is in location 311 and 313.
