Basic operation
Prepare for use
Inserting the SIM card Remove the back cover. Slide
the SIM card into the SIM card holder. Make sure the
golden contacts face down and check the location of the
rounded edge.
Now, insert the battery. Make sure the contact plates of
phone and battery are properly aligned.
Reattach the back cover.
Charging the battery
Make sure the battery is inserted properly. Connect the
charger cable to the phone and then connect the char-
ger to a wall outlet. If your phone is switched o while
charging, the screen will show an animated battery
symbol. Aer the battery is fully charged, the battery
symbol remains solid.

If your device is new, you should wait until the battery
is fully discharged before charging it again. You should
make 3 complete recharge cycles. is will make sure
your battery works with its maximum capacity.
When the battery is fully discharged, it may happen
that the screen remains o aer connecting the charger.
is is normal. Aer several minutes the animated
battery symbol will appear on the screen.
Warning: Never remove the battery while charging.
is may cause serious malefaction and may damage
the phone permanently.

Use this key to unlock the maximum volume. Use this
function only when the other party is too quiet.

FM Radio
Your phone can receive analog FM radio signals. You
can use the built-in speaker or connect the included
earphones. When reception is poor, please connect the
earphones. ey will be used as external antenna and
will boost your reception

Press and hold the FM radio button on the le side
until the phone switches into FM radio mode.
Manual channel selection
Use the up and down navigation keys to change fre-
quency.
Mute
Press the red key to mute your phone. Press again to
unmute.
Additional functions
Pressing the green button once will open the options
menu. You can now use the following functions:
1. Channel list: Save your favourite stations here.
2. Manual Input: You can enter a frequency directly
using the keypad
3. Auto search: Performs a full station scan and
stores all stations in the channel list. is will
overwrite all previously stored stations.

4. Settings: e option „Background playback“
allows you to switch back to phone mode without
stopping FM mode playback. e option „Loud
speaker“ turns the internal speaker on, when
earphones are connected. Use this option when
reception is poor.
Exit FM radio mode
Press and hold the FM radio button on the le side
until the phone switches back to phone mode.
Flashlight
Slide the ashlight switch on the right side of your
phone up to switch the ashlight on or slide it down to
switch the ashlight o. You can use the ashlight even
when your phone is switched o, as long as there is
enough battery power remaining.
Keypad lock
To avoid unintentional use, your M50+ comes equipped
with a keypad lock function. To lock the keypad, go
back to the home screen in phone mode. Now slide the
lower switch on the right side of your phone up. A lock
symbol will appear on the screen. To disable the keypad
lock, slide the keypad lock switch down.
