Before You Start
Please take note of the following before you start.
•Do not block the ventilation openings or holes.
•Avoid installing the unit in locations described be-
low:
•Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to
heat radiating appliances (such as electric
heaters, or on top of other stereo equipment
that radiate heat).
•Places lacking ventilation or dusty places.
•Places subject to constant vibration.
•Places that are humid or moist.
•Operate turning controls and switches as instruct-
ed in manual.
• Before turning on the power for the rst time, make
sure that the power cord is properly installed.
•Store your DVDs and CDs in a cool area to avoid
damage from heat.

DO DOT REMOVE COVER (OR BACK). NO USER SER-
VICEABLE PARTS INSIDE, REFER SERVICING TO QUALI-

1 USB port Load USB memory sticks here. The USB
port is designed for media playback from
ash memory devices. It is not designed to
charge high-power devices.
2 Memory
card slot
Load memory cards here. Refer to the
Specications section of this manual for a
list of supported memory cards.
3 Headphone
out jack
Connection for stereo headphones or ear-
phones with a 3.5 mm plug. The player will
mute the speakers when this connection is
in use.
4 AV out jack Use the included AV cable here to send AV
signals to a TV, receiver, or other device.
5 AV in jack Use the included AV cable here to receive
AV signals from another media player.
6 POWER
switch
Turn the player on or off.
7Power
socket
Connector for the included power cables.

8 USB/CARD Switch between the USB and CARD memory
reader. Continue to press the key to switch
back to the DVD player.
9 MENU Access the menu screen.
10 LCD ON/OFF Turn the LCD screen on or off.
11 SETUP Access the setup menu screen.
12 VOL– Volume down. Turn the volume level down.
13 VOL+ Volume up. Turn the volume level up.
14 SOURCE Change the player source mode (e.g., AV IN).
15 OPEN switch Slide to the left to release the latch of the
disc compartment.
Never open the compartment while a disc
is playing or spinning!

16 / REVERSE: Press to change the speed of
reverse playback.
LEFT: Browse to the left in menu and op-
tion screens.
17 / PREVIOUS: Press to go to the previous title,
chapter, or track.
UP: Browse up in menu and option screens.
18 / NEXT: Press to go to the next title, chapter,
or track.
DOWN: Browse down in menu and option
screens.
19 / FORWARD: Press to change the speed of
forward playback.
RIGHT: Browse to the right in menu and option
screens.
20 STOP: Press to stop playback.
21 PLAY/PAUSE: Press to start, pause, or
resume playback.
ENTER: Press to conrm a selection in
menu and option screens.

24 Swivel Swivel mechanism allows you to adjust the
angle and orientation of your screen for
optimal viewing in any situation.
• When the screen is turned clockwise, it
can be turned all the way around (180
degrees).
• When the screen is turned counter
clockwise, it can be turned a maximum
of 90 degrees.
• The screen can tilt and be positioned at
against the body of the player.
25 Charge
indicator
Lights red when the battery is being
charged. Lights green when the battery is
fully charged.
26 Remote
sensor
Detects signals from the remote control.
27 Power
indicator
Lights green when the unit is on.

(SOURCE)
Press to change the player source mode (e.g.,
DVD player, AV In).
ZOOM Press to change the magnication level of
the picture. When the magnication level is
greater than 1x, use the arrow keys to move
around the image.
SLOW Press to slow the rate of playback.
MUTE Press to disable audio output. Press again to
restore audio output.
Number
keypad
(1-9, 0)
Use the number keypad to input a value when
prompted on a menu or option screen.
AUDIO Press to change the audio track (if multiple
tracks are available).
• DVD: Press AUDIO to change the language
track.
• CD: Press AUDIO to change the stereo mix
(Stereo, Right Channel, Left Channel, Mixed
Channels).
SUBTITLE Press to change the subtitle track (if multiple
tracks are available).

ANGLE Press to change the angle (if multiple camera
angles are available).
/ PREVIOUS: Press to go to the previous title,
chapter, or track.
UP: Browse up in menu and option screens.
/ NEXT: Press to go to the next title, chapter, or
track.
DOWN: Browse down in menu and option
screens.
ENTER Press to conrm a selection in menu and op-
tion screens.
/ REVERSE: Press to change the speed of re-
verse playback.
LEFT: Browse to the left in menu and option
screens.
/ FORWARD: Press to change the speed of for-
ward playback.
RIGHT: Browse to the right in menu and option
screens.
PLAY/PAUSE: Press to start, pause, or resume
playback.
STOP: Press to stop playback.
VOL + Volume up. Turn the volume level up.
VOL – Volume down. Turn the volume level down.
SETUP Press to access (and exit) the player’s setup
menu screen.
TITLE Press to access the DVD title screen.
REPEAT Press to change the repeat playback mode.
PROG While playback is stopped, press to enter
Program mode in order to create a custom
playlist.
MENU Press to access the disc menu screen.
DVD/USB/
CARD
Press to switch between DVD, USB, and CARD
mode.
