Safety
• Handle theproduct with care, making sure not to damage thesurface of thesolar panel and
ensuring that it is not covered with dust or affected by other contaminants.
• The product must not be changed or modified in any way.
• Do not let children play with theproduct.
Installation
• Use anappropriate fastening method for thewall in question.
• Make sure that there are no water pipes or electrical cables hidden in thewall where you
intend to drill or screw.
Important considerations:
• The solar panel should be installed where it can receive as much sunlight as possible.
A south-facing wall is often agood option. Placing theproduct in alocation shaded by
buildings, trees, walls, etc. will reduce theability of thesolar panel to charge thebattery.
• If theproduct is not used for along time, thebattery may become so discharged that
theLED light does not come on. In this case theproduct must be left in bright sunlight for
10–20 hours to charge. The battery will charge regardless of which operating mode it is in,
but will charge quicker if set to OFF.
• Angle/tilt thesolar panel in such away that it can receive as much sunlight as possible.
For optimum operation:
• In order to prevent thelight from being activated inadvertently it should be placed in
aposition in which it will not be affected by heat sources such as barbecues or air
conditioning units.
• The motion sensor might also be sensitive to passing traffic, ventilation systems or sources
of electromagnetic interference such as transformers.
• Do not place thewall light so that its motion sensor is aimed towards any reflective surfaces
such as large glass surfaces, pools or smooth white walls. These surfaces can reflect
movement which will give false readings to themotion sensor and cause it to turn on
thelight inadvertently.
• Do not install thewall light too high or too low. The recommended installation height is 1.8 m.
• The motion sensor works best for detecting movement passing across it. Movements
directly towards or away from themotion sensor are harder to detect.

Instructions for use
1. Plug theconnection cable from thewall light unit into thesocket on theback of thesolar panel.
2. Set theswitch on theback of thesolar panel to ON. The light will come on at dusk/in
thedark when themotion sensor detects amovement (provided thebattery is charged).
Care and maintenance
Clean theproduct by wiping it with amoist cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents
or corrosive chemicals. Be careful not to damage thesurface of thesolar panel while cleaning it.
Battery replacement
A rechargeable battery is located inside thesolar panel unit.
It can be replaced as follows:
1. Remove the4 screws on theback of thesolar panel.
2. Carefully open thehousing, taking care not to damage thewiring inside.
3. Remove theold battery.
4. Insert anew battery, making sure that thepolarity is correct (and that it has thesame
specifications as theold battery).
5. Reassemble thehousing and screw in the4 screws.

Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that theproduct should not be disposed of with general
household waste. This applies throughout theentire EU. In order to prevent
any harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling so that thematerial can
be disposed of in aresponsible manner. When recycling theproduct, take it to
your local collection facility or contact theplace of purchase. They will ensure that
theproduct is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.

Säkerhet
• Hantera produkten varsamt, se till att inte solcellens yta skadas, täcks av damm eller
påverkas negativt av andra föroreningar.
• Produkten får inte ändras eller modifieras på något sätt.
• Låt inte barn leka med produkten.
Montering
• Använd enför väggen lämplig fästmetod.
• Försäkra dig om att väggen där du tänker borra eller skruva är fri från el- och vattenledningar.
Tänk på att:
• Montera solcellen så att den på bästa sätt kan tillgodogöra sig solljuset. Vanligtvis
isöderläge. Om solcellen placeras på platser som skuggas av byggnader, träd, etc.

• Om produkten inte används under enlängre tid kan batteriet vara så urladdat att LED-
lampan inte tänder upp. Produkten måste då laddas iihållande solsken iupp till 10−20 tim.

funktionsläge).
• Vrida/vinkla solcellen så att den på bästa sätt kan tillgodogöra sig solljuset.
För bästa funktion:
• För att undvika att belysningen tänds oavsiktligt, montera den så att rörelsedetektorn inte
påverkas av värmekällor som t.ex. utegrill eller luftkonditioneringsanläggning.
• Rörelsedetektorn kan också påverkas av förbipasserande trafik, ventilationsanläggningar
eller elektromagnetiska störningskällor som t.ex. transformatorer.
• Montera inte heller belysningen så att rörelsedetektorn riktas direkt mot större glasytor,
swimmingpool eller släta, vita väggar. Dessa kan reflektera rörelse som påverkar rörelse-
detektorn så att belysningen tänds oavsiktligt.
• Montera inte belysningen för högt eller lågt. Lämplig höjd är ca 1,8 m.
• Tänk på att rörelsedetektorn fungerar bäst när rörelse passerar förbi. Rörelse rakt emot eller
ifrån detektorn är svårare att detektera.

Användning
1. Anslut belysningens kabel till anslutningen på solcellens baksida.
2. Ställ strömbrytaren på solcellens baksida iläge ON. Belysningen kommer att tändas
iskymning/mörker när rörelsesensorn aktiveras (förutsatt att batteriet är laddat).
Skötsel och underhåll
Rengör produkten med enlätt fuktad trasa. Använd ettmilt rengöringsmedel, aldrig lösnings-
medel eller frätande kemikalier. Se till att inte solcellens yta skadas vid rengöring.
Batteribyte
Du kan vid behov byta det laddbara batteriet. Det är placerat isolcellen.
Gör så här:
1. Lossa de 4 skruvarna på solcellens baksida.
2. Ta försiktigt isär höljet, var försiktig så att inte kablarna skadas.
3. Ta ut det gamla batteriet.
4. Sätt iett nytt batteri och kontrollera att polariteten blir rätt (se till att det nya batteriet har
samma specifikationer som det gamla).
5. Sätt ihop höljet och skruva ide 4 skruvarna.
