Les dévidoirs DMU P400 et DMU P500 ont été spécialement développé pour les

applications haut de gamme dont aluminium lesquelles requièrent des dispositions

particulières pour la gamme de générateur Citopuls II, gamme easy pour applications

manuelles. Ces dévidoirs sont également prédisposés pour le dévidage et la

protection de la bobine.

The DMU P400 et DMU P500 wire feeders have been especially developed for

high-end applications including aluminum. These applications require special

provisions for the range Citopuls II (range easy for manual applications). These

wire feeders are also provided for wire-feed and protection of the spool.

Son design optimisé rend son utilisation aisée dans un environnement difficile que ce

soit pour le roulage (chariot en option) ou par rapport à une agressivité extérieure

(humidité, poussières, projections etc).

Its optimised design makes it easy to use in a difficult environment, whether for

rolling or in relation to external aggressivity (dampness, dust, projections, etc.).

Correctement installés, les DMU P400 et DMU P500 vous permettront d'obtenir des

soudures de grande qualité et de bel aspect. Ces dévidoirs sont uniquement

compatibles sur la gamme Citopuls II en version séparée.

When properly installed, the DMU P400 et DMU P500 will enable you to obtain

high-quality welds with a good visual appearance. The wire feeder can only be

used in the Citopuls II range.

L’optimisation du système passe par la prise de connaissance de ce manuel en

suivant l’ensemble des directives décrites dans ce document.

Optimum use of the system requires full knowledge of this manual; it is important to

follow all the instructions described in this document.

La stabilité de l’installation est assurée jusqu’à une inclinaison de 10°. The stability of the system is supported up to angles of 10 °.

Lors de l’élingage du dévidoir, ne pas utiliser de bobine écologique. When slinging wire feeder, do not use ecological spool.

Le raccordement du dévidoir est à effectuer générateur hors tension. The connection of the wire feeder unit is to made while the generator is off.

L’utilisation de faisceau de 50 m peut s’accompagner d’une instabilité de

l’affichage en cours de soudage sans conséquence sur les valeurs

affichées ou l’installation.

The utilisation of a 50m long harness can result in unstable values

being displayed during welding without consequences for the displayed

values or the installation.

2.2. DEBALLAGE DE L'INSTALLATION 2.2. UNPACKING THE SET

2.4. RACCORDEMENT DU DEVIDOIR 2.4. WIRE FEEDER UNIT CONNECTION

Raccorder le faisceau au dévidoir en respectant les emplacements des connecteurs.

S’assurer du verrouillage correct de la bride à l’arrière du dévidoir.

Connect harness to wire feeder in accordance with the connector locations. Ensure

locking correctly at the rear of the wire feeder.

Raccorder l’autre extrémité du faisceau au générateur. S’assurer du verrouillage

correct de la bride sur le chariot du générateur.

Connect the other end side of the harness to generator. Ensure the clamp is locked

correctly on the carriage trolley of the generator.

Connecter la torche de soudage MIG au dévidoir. Connect the MIG welding torch to wire feeder.

Vérifier la bonne circulation du liquide de refroidissement. Check correct circulation of cooling liquid.

Régler le débit de gaz et réaliser une purge du circuit gaz. Adjust the gas flow and bleed the circuit.

2.5. ELINGUAGE DU DEVIDOIR 2.5. WIRE FEEDER SLINGING

Pour élinguer le dévidoir, utiliser impérativement le crochet métallique à la base de la

poignée.

For slinging the wire feeder, you must use the metal hook at the base of the handle.

3 - INSTRUCTIONS D'EMPLOI 3 - INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

3.1. MISE EN PLACE DU FIL 3.1. POSITIONNING THE WIRE

Pour mettre en place le fil : To set up the wire

Mettre le générateur hors tension. Turn the generator off.

Ouvrir la porte du dévidoir [1] et s’assurer qu’elle ne puisse pas retomber. Open the door of the wire-feeder unit [1] and ensure that it can not fall.

Dévisser l’écrou [2] de l’axe de la bobine. Unscrew the spool axle nut. [2].

Introduire la bobine de fil sur l’axe. S’assurer que l’ergot de l’axe [3] est bien en place

sur la bobine.

Insert the spool of wire on the axis. Make sure that the locating pin of the shaft [3]

is properly located into the reel locator.

Visser l’écrou [2] sur l’axe en le tournant dans le sens indiqué par la flèche. Screw the spool nut [2] back on the shaft, turning it in the direction shown by the

arrow.

Abaisser le levier [4] pour libérer les contre-galets [5] : Lower the lever [4] in order to free the idlers rollers [5]:

Prendre l’extrémité du fil de la bobine et couper la partie tordue. Take the end of the wire of the spool and cut the distorted end piece.

Redresser les 15 premiers centimètres de fil. Straighten the first 15 centimetres of wire.

Introduire le fil par le guide-fil de la platine. Insert the wire via the inlet wire-guide of the plate.

Abaisser les contre-galets [5] et remonter les leviers [4] pour immobiliser les

contre-galets.

Lower the idlers [5] and raise the lever in order to immobilise the idlers. [4]

Ajuster la pression des contre-galets sur le fil. Adjust the pressure of the idlers on the wire to the correct tension.

Avance fil Wire feed

Le bouton avance fil permet de faire avancer le fil dans la torche. Le fil avance 1 s à la

vitesse minimale puis la vitesse augmente progressivement jusqu’à la valeur de

consigne vitesse fil, limitée à 12 m/min. La consigne peut être modifiée à tout moment.

Le générateur affiche la vitesse.

The inches button feeds the wire into the torch. The wire inch over 1s at minimum

speed and the speed increases gradually until the set wire speed is reached, but is

limited to 12 m / min. The settings may be amended at any time. The generator

displays the speed.

Sur le dévidoir un message rappelle la commande en cours : A message on the wire feeder remind the command:

Maintenir appuyer le bouton avance fil (A).Maintain the wire feed button (A).

La vitesse de dévidage peut être modifiée avec le bouton (B) en face avant. Wire speed can be adjusted with the button (B) in front panel.

Purge gaz Gas bleed

Le bouton purge gaz permet de faire débiter le gaz pendant 7 s. The gas purge button allows the gas to flow for 7 sec’.

Le générateur affiche le temps restant. The generator display the remaining time.

Sur le dévidoir un message rappelle la commande en cours : A message on the wire feeder reminds you the command:

En mode manuel La plage de réglage s’étend de 1m/min à 25m/min. In manual mode The adjustment range is between 1m/min to 25m/min.

En mode synergique La plage de réglage s’étend de la vitesse min à la vitesse

max de la synergie sélectionnée. Synergistic mode The adjustment range is between the min’ and max’

speed of the synergy selected.

Réglage longueur d’arc Setting arc length

Le potentiomètre longueur d’arc permet de régler la tension d’arc : The arc length potentiometer adjusts the arc voltage.

En mode manuel La plage de réglage s’étend de +10,0v à +50,0v. In manual mode The adjustment range is between +10,0v and +50,0v..

En mode synergique Le potentiomètre permet d’ajuster de ± 50 incréments la

valeur de la synergie. Synergistic mode The potentiometer adjusts ± 50 increments within the

synergy value.

Affichage d’une aide Help Messages

La plupart des réglages disposent d’une aide qui décrit la fonction affichée sur l’écran. An help message could be displayed on the screen for most of parameters.

Pour obtenir l’aide : To activate the help message :

Appuyer plus d’une seconde sur le bouton [3] pour faire apparaitre le message d’aide. Keep button [3] pressed for one second to obtain the help message.

Mode d’utilisation Use Mode

Le dévidoir peut travailler en modes SIMPLE ou PROGRAMME. Le choix du mode

s’effectue dans le menu CONFIGURATION DU DEVIDOIR (cf. page 15)

The wire feeder could work in SIMPLE or PROGRAM mode. The choice of this

mode can be activated in the WIRE FEEDER CONFIGURATION menu (page 15).

Mode simple Simple mode

Le voyant JOB du générateur est éteint, indiquant que seuls les réglages de base (

Vitesse fil et hauteur d’arc) sont effectués sur le dévidoir. Le choix du procédé, le

paramétrage du cycle et du mode synergie sont réalisés sur le générateur.

The JOB led of the source is OFF, showing only the base settings (Wire speed, arc

length) these are done on the wire feeder. The process choice, the setting of the

cycle and of the synergic mode are done on the generator.

Mode programme Program Mode

Le voyant JOB du générateur est allumé, indiquant que les réglages en face avant du

générateur sont désactivés.

The program led is ON. All the settings on the front panel of the generator are

desactivated.

Le générateur dispose de 99 programmes de soudage numérotés de 1 à 99 dont les

paramètres sont tous accessibles du dévidoir.

The power source has 99 welding programs numbered from 1 to 99 and the

parameters are all accessible from the wire feeder.
