Important

◗This appliance is intended for household use

C◗Assemble the appliance properly before

plugging it into the wall socket.

◗Unplug the appliance immediately after use,

i.e.before unscrewing the bar.

◗Avoid touching the SHARP blades,especially

when the appliance is plugged in.

◗Never immerse the motor unit in water.

◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of

◗Do not exceed the quantities and preparation

times indicated in the table.

◗If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged,

it must always be replaced by Philips or a

service centre authorised by Philips,as special

tools and/or parts are required.

◗If the blades get stuck,UNPLUGTHE

APPLIANCE before removing the ingredients

that are blocking the blades.

C◗Let hot ingredients cool down before

chopping them or pouring them into the

beaker (max.temperature 80cC/175cF).

Using the appliance

Bar blender

The bar blender is intended for:

- Blending fluids,e.g. dairy products,sauces, fruit

juices,soups, mixed drinks,shakes.

- Mixing soft ingredients,e.g. pancake batter or

mayonnaise.

- Pureeing cooked ingredients,e.g.for making

baby food.

C1Immerse the blade guard completely in the

ingredients.

2Switch the appliance on and blend the

ingredients by moving the appliance slowly

up and down and in circles.

C3You can use the filter accessory to obtain

extra finely blended sauces or juices.

Chopper (type HR1351,HR1354)

◗The chopper attachment can be used for

chopping ingredients such as nuts,meat,

onions,hard cheese,dried fruits,chocolate,

garlic,herbs,dry bread etc.

1If the ingredients stick to the chopper

beaker wall,loosen them by adding liquid

or using a spatula.

C◗Make sure the coupling unit has been properly

fitted onto the chopper beaker.

C2Cut large ingredients into pieces of

approximately 2 cm/1 inch before

processing.

Whisk (type HR1354 only)

C◗You can use the whisk attachment to whip

cream,egg whites,desserts etc.

C1To obtain a good whipping result,please

use a wider bowl.

C2To avoid splashing,insert the whisk into

the bowl,switch the appliance on and whip

the ingredients by slowly moving the

appliance in circles.

Cleaning

1Clean the beaker,the lid,the filter,the

chopping beaker,the blade unit and the

whisk in the dishwasher or in warm soapy

water.

It is recommended to remove the rubber ring

from the chopper before cleaning.

2The blade unit and the whisk of the bar

blender can also be cleaned by immersing

the blade guard or the whisk in warm

soapy water and letting the appliance run

for a while.

3Wipe the motor unit,the coupling unit of

the chopper (HR1351 & 1354) and the

coupling unit of the whisk (HR1354) with a

damp cloth.Do not immerse these parts in

water!

Der Gebrauch des Geräts

Der Stabmixer-Aufsatz

Der Stabmixer ist zu folgendenVerwendungen

geeignet:

- Mischen von Flüssigkeiten,z.B. Milchprodukte,

Soßen,Obstsäfte, Suppen,Mixgetränke,Milch-

Shakes.

- Mischen weicher Zutaten,z.B.Pfannkuchenteig

und Majonäse.

- Pürieren gegarter Zutaten,z.B.zur Zubereitung

von Baby-Nahrung.

C1Tauchen Sie die Schneideeinheit - das

untere Ende mit dem Messer - stets

vollständig in die Zutaten.

2Schalten Sie das Gerät ein,und führen Sie

es in kreisenden Bewegungen auf und ab

durch die Zutaten.

C3(NurType HR1354:) Sie können den Filter-

Aufsatz verwenden,um besonders feine

Soßen oder Säfte zuzubereiten.

(Typen HR1351 und HR1354:) Zerkleinerer

C◗Der Zerkleinerer-Aufsatz ist geeignet zum

Zerkleinern von Fleisch,Zwiebeln,Knoblauch,

Trockenfrüchten, Kräutern,Nüssen,

Schokolade,trockenem Brot usw.

1Wenn die Zutaten an derWand des

Bechers haften bleiben,so schalten Sie das

Gerät aus,und lockern Sie sie die Masse

mit einem Spatel,oder fügen Sie etwas

Flüssigkeit hinzu.

C◗Achten Sie darauf,dass dasAnschluss-Stück

ordnunggemäß mit dem Mixbecher

verbunden ist.

2Schneiden Sie größereTeile in Stücke von

etwa 2 cm Kantenlänge.

(NurType HR1354:) Drahtquirl

◗Sie können den Drahtquirl zum Schlagen von

Schlagsahne,Eiweiß,Desserts usw.einsetzen.

1Verwenden Sie eine breite Schüssel,um ein

gutes Resultat zu erhalten.

C2Sie vermeiden,dass es spritzt,indem Sie

den Drahtquirl voll in die Zutaten

eintauchen und das Gerät erst dann

einschalten.Ziehen Sie den Schneebesen

langsam kreisend durch die Zutaten.
