Fast keys

Long press to access the voice

default settings of the navigation keys

Shortcut menu

With the option Shortcut on the idle screen, you

can access a functional sub-menu directly. You

can set the list of functional shortcuts. 8

Set Shortcut list

Go to Settings > General > Shortcuts.

Press ,Change to access the Shortcuts

selection list.

tick off your desired option.

Predictive dialing

Quickly search and list your desired phone

number (saved in SIM or/and Smart phonebook)

on the idle screen.

*If the phone number you finding is not saved in SIM

or/and Smart phonebook, the funtion of predictive

dialing is unavailable.

Turn the predictive dialing on/off

Go to Calls > Call options > Predictive dialing > On/

Off to enable or disable the function.

Use predictive dialing

Press <,>to turn Predictive dialing on in Calls

> Call options, if necessary.

On the idle screen, enter any three

consecutive numbers from the contact

phone number you want to dial.

On the Dialling screen, the records with the

three consecutive numbers and from the

SIM or smart phonebook will display in the

Search list.

Press +or -to scroll the Search list, and

press ,Select to confirm the desired phone

number.

Press (to dial the number.

1 Getting Started

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome

to Philips!

To get the most of your product and enjoy all

Philips has to offer, register your product at

www. philips. com/welcome.

Please read the safety instructions in the

"Precautions" section before use.

To use your phone, you must insert a valid SIM

card supplied by your GSM operator or retailer.

The SIM card contains your subscription

information, your mobile telephone number,

and a memory in which you can store phone

numbers and messages.

Inserting the SIM card

Follow the steps below to insert your new SIM

cards. Remember to switch off your mobile

phone before removing the back cover.

Press on the back cover and slide the cover

as shown.

Getting Started 9

As step 1 shown, press and hold the little

black jut respectively, and then, take out the

battery, as step 2 shown.

You may lose all your personal settings if you

remove the battery when the phone is switched

on.

As shown, align your SIM card with the SIM

card slot, beveled corner facing you and

gold contact downwards. Insert your SIM

card under the metal clip holder.

As shown, align the metallic connectors on

the battery and battery slot. Insert the

battery until it is locked.
