Introduction

With your new Satinelle you can remove unwanted hair quickly, easily

and effectively. It is particularly suitable for removing hair from your legs.

The rotating discs catch even the shortest hairs (down to 0.5mm) and

pull them out by the root.The hairs that grow back are soft and thin.

Epilating with this new appliance leaves your skin smooth and hair-free

for several weeks.

Important

Read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance and

save them for future reference.

◗Check if the mains voltage indicated on the appliance

corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the

appliance.

◗Regular cleaning and proper maintenance ensure optimal results

and a long life for your appliance.

◗Make sure the appliance and adapter do not get wet.

◗Do not use the epilating head on irritated skin or skin with

varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with hairs) or wounds

without consulting your doctor first. People with a reduced

immune response, e.g. during pregnancy, or people who suffer

from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency should

also consult their doctor first.

◗Using an epilator may cause reddening or irritation of the skin.

This is a normal reaction that will quickly disappear. However, you

should consult your doctor if the irritation has not disappeared

within three days.

◗Regular massages with a massaging glove or loofah may help to

prevent ingrowing hairs.

◗To prevent damage and injuries, keep the running appliance away

from your hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords,

brushes, etc.

◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

◗Only use the appliance in combination with the mains cord and

adapter supplied.

◗If the mains cord or adapter of this appliance is damaged, it may

only be replaced by a cord with adapter of the original type.

◗The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to

replace it with another plug, as this will cause a hazardous situation.

◗HP 2841: Noise level: L=74 dB(A) re 1pW.

◗HP 2840: Noise level: L=76 dB(A) re 1pW.

Preparing for use

◗When you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to

try it out on an area with only light hair growth to get

accustomed to the epilation process.

◗As the hairs are removed by the root, epilation may cause some

skin discomfort the first few times you use the epilator.This effect

will gradually diminish when you use the appliance more often.

Regrowth tends to be softer both in appearance and to the touch.

◗Make sure your skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease.

Do not use any cream before you start epilating.

◗Epilation is easier just after taking a bath or shower. Make sure

your skin is completely dry when you start epilating.

◗After epilation, you can apply a mild cream or lotion to help

reduce possible skin irritation. It will make your skin feel

smoother and will give you a fresh sensation. Do not use lotions

that contain alcohol.

Using the appliance

Connecting the appliance

1Insert the appliance plug into the appliance (fig. 2).

2Insert the adapter into the wall socket (fig. 3).

Epilating the legs

1HP2840 only: Switch the appliance on by pushing the on/off slide

to position I.

2HP2841 only: Switch the appliance on by pushing the on/off slide

to the desired speed setting.

◗Select speed I for areas with little hair growth, for hard-to-reach

areas and for areas where bones are located directly beneath the

skin, such as knees and ankles (fig. 4).

◗Select speed II for larger areas with stronger hair growth (fig. 5).

3Stretch the skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand

upright (fig. 6).

BStretching the skin properly is particularly important if you have

sensitive or delicate skin.

4Place the epilator perpendicularly onto the skin with the on/off

slide pointing in the direction in which you are going to move the

appliance (fig. 7).

5Move the appliance slowly over the skin, against the direction of

hair growth (fig. 8).

Do not apply any pressure.

6Switch the appliance off by pushing the on/off slide to position 0

(fig. 9).

Cleaning

For a good and smooth epilating result, it is essential that you clean the

epilating head after each use.

Never immerse the appliance in water.

Do not use aggressive cleaners, scouring agents, petrol, acetone etc.

to clean the plastic housing of the appliance.

Never try to remove the epilating discs from the epilating head. Do

not exert pressure on the shaving foil to avoid damaging it.

1Switch the appliance off (fig. 9).

2Remove the adapter from the wall socket (fig. 10).

3Remove the epilating head by pushing the ribbed section with

your thumb and then lifting the epilating head off the appliance

(fig. 11).

4Clean the epilating discs of the epilating head and all other parts

that have become accessible.

◗Place the epilating head back onto the appliance. Press the non-

marked side opposite the ribbed section to make the epilating

head snap back into position (you will hear a click) (fig. 12).

Please note that the epilating head can only be mounted onto the

appliance in one direction.

Wstęp

Dzięki temu nowemu depilatorowi Satinelle możesz szybko, łatwo i

skutecznie usuwać zbędne włoski. Jest on szczególnie przydatny do

usuwania włosów z nóg.

Obracające się dyski wychwytują nawet najkrótsze włoski (ponad 0,5

mm długości) i usuwają je wraz z cebulkami. Odrastające włosy są

miękkie i cienkie. Depilacja z użyciem niniejszego depilatora pozostawia

zupełnie gładką skórę przez kilka tygodni.

jest podrażniona lub jeśli masz żylaki, wysypkę, krostki, narośla (z

włoskami) lub zadrapania. Jeśli cierpisz na zmiejszoną odporność

immunologiczną, np. podczas ciąży lub jeśli masz cukrzycę, hemofilię

lub brak ogólnej odporności, przed rozpoczęciem depilacji także

powinnaś skontaktować się ze swoim lekarzem.

◗Korzystanie z depilatora może spowodować zaczerwienienie lub

podrażnienie skóry. Reakcja ta jest absolutnie normalna i szybko

ustąpi. Jeśli jednak po trzech dniach podrażnienie nie minie,

powinieneś skonsultować się z lekarzem.

◗Regularne masaże z użyciem specjalnej rękawicy lub gąbki mogą

zapobiec wrastaniu włosów.

◗Aby nie dopuścić do uszkodzenia urządzenia i jakichkolwiek

obrażeń ciała, włączone urządzenie trzymaj z dala od włosów,

brwi, rzęs, ubrań, nici, sznurków, szczotek, itp.

◗Trzymaj urządzenie z dala od dzieci.

◗Korzystaj z urządzenia wyłącznie z użyciem dołączonego

przewodu zasilającego i zasilacza.

◗Jeśli przewód zasilający lub zasilacz są uszkodzone, należy je

wymienić na przewód lub zasilacz oryginalnego typu.

◗Zasilacz wyposażony jest w transformator. Nie odcinaj zasilacza w

celu zastąpienia go inną wtyczką, może to spowodować

Przygotowanie do użycia

◗Jeśli używasz depilatora po raz pierwszy, zalecamy wypróbowanie

tej metody na miejscu słabo owłosionym.W ten sposób

stopniowo przywykniesz do depilacji.

◗Ponieważ włosy usuwane są wraz z cebulkami, kilku pierwszym

zabiegom depilacji może towarzyszyć nieprzyjemne odczucie.

Jednakże stopniowo, wraz z częstszym użyciem depilatora,

wrażenie to będzie się wyraźnie zmniejszać. Odrastające włosy

będą bardziej miękkie zarówno w wyglądzie, jak i w dotyku.

◗Upewnij się, czy skóra jest czysta i nienatłuszczona. Nie używaj

kremu bezpośrednio przed depilacją.

◗Depilacja jest łatwiejsza tuż po kąpieli lub prysznicu.W chwili

rozpoczęcia depilacji skóra musi być całkowicie sucha.

◗Po zakończeniu depilacji możesz wetrzeć w skórę łagodny krem

lub płyn do ciała, co zmniejszy jej podrażnienie. Będziesz miał

wrażenie, że skóra jest gładka oraz uczucie świeżości. Nie używaj

płynów do ciała zawierających spirytus.

Użycie urządzenia

Podłączenie urządzenia.

1Włóż małą wtyczkę do urządzenia (Rys. 2).

2Wetknij wtyczkę zasilacza do gniazdka ściennego (Rys. 3).

Depilacja nóg

1Wyłącznie dla modelu HP2840:Włącz urządzenie, ustawiając

przełącznik on/off w pozycji I.

2Wyłącznie dla modelu HP2841:Włącz urządzenie, ustawiając

przełącznik on/off na zadanej prędkości.

◗Wybierz prędkość I dla obszarów z niewielką ilością włosów oraz

trudniej dostępnych, a także takich, gdzie tuż pod skórą wyraźnie

uwydatniają się kości, to znaczy na kolanach i kostkach (Rys. 4).

◗Wybierz prędkość II do depilacji rozleglejszych miejsc o

silniejszym owłosieniu (Rys. 5).

3Naciągnij skórę wolną ręką, aby włosy znalazły się w pionowej

pozycji (Rys. 6).

BJeśli twoja skóra jest delikatna lub wrażliwa, szczególnie ważne jest

podczas depilacji jej właściwe naciągnięcie.

4Umieść depilator prostopadle do powierzchni skóry, z

przełącznikiem on/off zwróconym w kierunku, w którym chcesz

przesuwać urządzenie (Rys. 7).

5Przesuwaj urządzenie po skórze powoli, w kierunku przeciwnym

do kierunku wzrostu włosów (Rys. 8).
