Introduction

The unique Thermoflow system

This new Philips beauty hairdryer has been specially designed to meet

your personal needs.The Thermoprotect hairdryer features the

innovative Thermoflow system that uses more air but less heat.This

system dries your hair as quickly as an ordinary hairdryer without the

risk of dehydration. It preserves your hair's natural moisture level and

leaves you with the lustre, body and richness you love.To get beautiful

hair you need to dry it, not dehydrate it.

Important

Read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance and

save them for future reference.

◗Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to

the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

◗Keep this appliance away from water! Do not use this product

near or over water contained in baths, washbasins, sinks etc.

When used in a bathroom, unplug the appliance after use since

the proximity of water presents a risk, even when the hairdryer is

switched off.

◗For additional protection we advise you to install a residual

current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not

exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom.

Ask your installer for advice.

◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

◗Never block the air grilles.

◗If the appliance overheats, it will switch off automatically. Unplug

the appliance and let it cool down for a few minutes. Before you

switch the appliance on again, check the grilles to make sure they

are not blocked by fluff, hair, etc.

◗Always switch the appliance off before putting it down, even if it

is only for a moment.

Using the appliance

Drying

1Put the plug in the wall socket.

2Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired setting (fig. 1).

The hairdryer operates at a constant, caring temperature.The airflow

can be adjusted:

III: Fast setting - strong airflow for fast drying.

II: Medium setting - medium airflow for gentle drying and styling.

I: Styling setting - low airflow especially intended for styling.

O: Off.

3Dry your hair by making brushing movements while holding the

hairdryer at a small distance from your hair.

4The Quick-Dry Shot enables you to dry very wet hair very

quickly and safely (fig. 2).

It is recommended to use the Quick-Dry Shot on hair that is still very

wet. Simply press the button and keep it pressed for a short time.

Attachments

Concentrator

The concentrator enables you to direct the airflow straight at the brush

or comb with which you are styling your hair.

1Connect the concentrator by simply snapping it onto the

appliance. Disconnect it by pulling it off (fig. 3).

Comb diffuser

The comb diffuser enables you to create volume, a fancy flick or to

simply comb your hair.

1Connect the diffuser by simply snapping it onto the appliance.

Disconnect it by pulling it off (fig. 4).

Volume

You can use the comb diffuser to add volume at the roots of your hair.

1Insert the pins into your hair until they touch your scalp (fig. 5).

2Start at the lower part of your head and move upwards slowly.

Make rotating movements with the appliance to distribute the

warm air evenly through your hair.

Straight hair

You can use the comb diffuser to create a straight hairstyle.

1Insert the pins into your hair (fig. 6).

2Start at the upper part of your head and move the comb diffuser

downwards slowly.

Cleaning

1Clean the appliance with a dry cloth.

2Clean the attachments with a moist cloth or by rinsing them

under the tap.

Remove the attachments from the appliance before cleaning them.

Make sure the attachments are dry before using or storing them.

Never rinse the appliance with water.

Replacement

◗If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged, it must always be

replaced by Philips or a service centre authorised by Philips in

order to avoid hazardous situations.

◗Always return the appliance to a service centre authorised by

Philips for examination or repair, as special tools and/or parts are

required.

Przed pierwszym użyciem urządzenia przeczytaj dokładnie tę instrukcję

3Utrzymując suszarkę w niewielkiej odległości od głowy, wykonuj

nią ruchy szczotkujące, susząc w ten sposób włosy.

4Funkcja szybkiego suszenia pozwala bardzo szybko, a

jednocześnie bezpiecznie, wysuszyć bardzo mokre włosy (rys. 2).

Zaleca się korzystanie z funkcji szybkiego suszenia w przypadku włosów

bardzo mokrych. Naciśnij górny przycisk i przytrzymaj go przez krótką

chwilę.

Nasadki

Koncentrator

Koncentrator umożliwia skierowanie strumienia powietrza

bezpośrednio na szczotkę lub grzebień podczas czesania włosów.

1W tym celu należy po prostu wcisnąć koncentrator na wylot

powietrza suszarki (rys. 3).

Dyfuzor grzebieniowy.

Dyfuzor grzebieniowy nadaje włosom objętość oraz fantazyjne fale;

posługując się nim można też zwyczajnie uczesać włosy.Aby zwiększyć

objętość fryzury u nasady włosów, skorzystaj z dyfuzora

grzebieniowego.

1W tym celu należy po prostu wcisnąć dyfuzor na wylot powietrza

suszarki.Aby odłączyć dyfuzor, należy ściągnąć go z wylotu

powietrza suszarki (rys. 4).

Objętość

Aby zwiększyć objętość włosów u nasady skorzystaj z dyfuzora

grzebieniowego.

1Wsuń paluszki dyfuzora we włosy tak, aby dotykały skóry głowy

(rys. 5).

2Rozpocznij od dolnej części głowy i powoli przesuwaj dyfuzor ku

górze.Wykonuj ruchy obrotowe suszarką, równomiernie

rozprowadzając ciepłe powietrze pomiędzy włosami.

Włosy proste

Możesz skorzystać z dyfuzora grzebieniowego przy układaniu prostych

włosów.

1Wsuń paluszki dyfuzora we włosy (rys. 6).

2Rozpocznij od górnej części głowy i powoli przesuwaj dyfuzor

grzebieniowy ku dołowi.

Czyszczenie

1Urządzenie należy czyścić suchą szmatką

2asadki należy czyścić wilgotną szmatką lub opłukać je w

strumieniu bieżącej wody.

Przed oczyszczeniem akcesoriów należy je zdjąć z suszarki.
