3 Get started

Always follow the instructions in this chapter in

sequence.

Charge the built-in battery

The speaker is powered by a built-in

rechargeable battery.

Note

•Before use, fully charge the built-in battery.

•The micro USB socket is for charging only.

Connect the USB cable between

• the micro USB socket on the speaker, and

• a USB socket on your computer.

Rotate the knob to turn on or turn off this

speaker.

• Bluetooth mode: Listen to an external

Bluetooth device through Bluetooth

connection.

4 Use Bluetooth

devices

With this speaker, you can listen to audio from

a player and make a call through Bluetooth.

Note

•WOOX Innovations does not guarantee the

compatibility with all Bluetooth devices.

•Before pairing a device with this product, read its user

manual for Bluetooth compatibility. Make sure that the

connected Bluetooth device supports the Advanced

AudioDistributionProle(A2DP)andtheAudioVideo

RemoteControlProle(AVRCP).

•The product can memorize a maximum of 4 paired

devices.

•Make sure that Bluetooth function is enabled on your

device, and your device is set as visible to all other

Bluetooth devices.

•The operational range between this product and a

Bluetoothdeviceisapproximately10meters(30feet).

•Any obstacle between this product and a Bluetooth

device can reduce the operational range.

•Keep away from any other electronic device that may

cause interference.

Connect a device

1 Rotate the knob to turn on the speaker.

» TheBluetoothindicatorashesblue.

2 On your device, search for Bluetooth

devices.

3 In the device list, select Philips BT2600.

• If a message prompts for the

permission for Bluetooth connection

with Philips BT2600,conrmit.

• If a password is required, enter 0000

andthenconrm.

» The speaker beeps twice and the

Bluetooth indicator turns to solid blue

when the Bluetooth connection is

successful.

• If you fail to search for Philips BT2600,

press and hold /MULTIPAIR to enter

pairing mode.

Pair and connect a second device

You can pair and connect a maximum of two

Bluetooth-enabled devices to this product

actively at the same time.

1 Press and hold /MULTIPAIR to enter

pairing mode.

» TheBluetoothindicatorashesblue

quickly.

» The speaker beeps twice.

2 Pair and connect a second device to the

speaker.

• If two devices are connected with

speaker, you can play music from any of

the connected devices, music playback

from another device will be paused.

Note

•If you want to pair a third device, press and hold

/MULTIPAIR until you hear a double beep to

disconnecttherstconnecteddeviceandenterpairing

mode.

•If no music is played after 15 minutes, the speaker goes

to standby mode automatically for power saving.

Disconnect a device

• On your device, disable the Bluetooth

connection with this product.

• Or, on this product, press and hold

when it is not during a call.

Note

•Before connecting another Bluetooth device, disconnect

thecurrentdevicerst.

Reconnect a device

• For a paired Bluetooth device on which

the automatic reconnection is enabled,

this product reconnects with it once it is

detected.

• For a paired Bluetooth device that does

not support the automatic reconnection,

reconnect it with this product manually.

Play audio via Bluetooth

Note

•If there is an incoming call on the connected mobile

phone, audio play pauses.

After successful Bluetooth connection, play

audio on the Bluetooth device.

» Audio streams from your Bluetooth

device to the speaker

Control your phone call

After Bluetooth connection, you can control an

incoming call with this speaker.

Button Functions

Press to answer an incoming call.

During a call, press to end the current

call.

Pressandholdtorejectanincoming

call.

During a call, press and hold to

transfer the phone call to your mobile.

When there is another incoming call

during a call, you can

• press to end the current call and

answer the another call.

• presstwicetorejecttheanother

call.

• press and hold for two seconds to

hang on the current call and answer

the another call.

Note

•You can talk through the microphone of the speaker.

•Music play pauses when there is an incoming call, and

resumes when your phone call ends.

5 Listen to an

external device

You can also listen to an external audio device,

for example, MP3 player, through this product.

Note

•Make sure that no device is streaming audio to the

speaker via Bluetooth.

1 Rotate the knob to turn on the speaker.

2 Connect an audio input cable with 3.5mm

plug on both ends between

• the AUDIO IN socket on this product,

and

• the headphone socket on the external

device.

3 Play audio on the external device (refer to

itsusermanual).
