Tip

It is unnecessary to

connect the FM pigtail

antenna since it is

fixed to the main unit.

Connection

Setting the clock

For radio reception, connect the supplied AM antenna to the

AM aerial terminal.

Connect the speaker wires to the SPEAKERS terminals.

Connect the power cord of the system to the

AC power outlet.

In standby mode, press and hold DISPLAY/CLOCK

(CLOCK/MENU on the remote control)

for 2 seconds.The clock digits for the hours flash.

Press TUNING ¡1 / 2™ to set the hours.

Press DISPLAY/CLOCK again.

The clock digits for the minutes flash.

Press TUNING ¡1 / 2™ to set the minutes.

Press DISPLAY/CLOCK to confirm the time.

Playing a disc

Select TUNER source.

Press PROGRAM on the set for more than 2 seconds to program all

available stations in order of waveband.

Press ALBUM/PRESET 4 3 until the desired preset station is

displayed.

Programming and Listening to

radio stations

Select CD source.

Press OPEN•CLOSE on the top of the system to open the CD door.

Insert a disc with the printed side facing up and press down

on OPEN•CLOSE to close the CD door.

PressÉÅto start playback.

Press 9to stop playback.

Notes for the remote control:

– First, select the source you wish to

control by pressing one of the source select

keys on the remote control (CD or TUNER,

for example).

–Then select the desired function (

for example).

Playing iPod using the dock

1Select the correct dock adaptor supplied, then snap the adaptor into the correct dock connector (iPod) to

provide a snug fit for the player.

●The indication on the adaptor’s back fits specific iPod player.

2Correctly place your player in the correct dock connector.

3Connect the cables of the dock to DOCKING IN jacks on the main set correspondingly.

4Press SOURCE repeatedly or iPod to select iPod source.

●The connected player will play automatically.

●The iPod battery will be charged in either normal standby mode or power-on mode.The charging will not be

available in the Eco power standby mode.

notes for dock operation.
