before use.

Playing a disc

Press OPEN/CLOSEçto open the disc tray and load in a disc, then press the same

button again to close the disc tray.

➜Make sure the label side of the disc is facing up.

Press ÉÅ to start playback.

To stop playback, press 9.

Setting the clock

IMPORTANT!

– To set clock in the Eco Power mode, press and hold ECO POWER/

STANDBY-ON

on the set for 3 seconds or more to switch to normal

standby mode first before proceeding with the procedures below.

In standby mode, press and hold CLOCK on the remote control.

➜ SET CLOCK is displayed briefly.Then, the clock digits for the hours flash.

Press 9on the remote control to select clock mode.

➜"12 TO 24 HOUR" or "24 TO 12 HOUR" scrolls once.Then, the clock

digits for the hours continue to flash.

Adjust VOLUME -/+ (or press VOL +/- on the remote control) to set the

hours.

Press CLOCK again.

➜The clock digits for the minutes flash.

Adjust VOLUME -/+ (or press VOL +/- on the remote control) to set the

minutes.

Press CLOCK to confirm the time.

Enjoy

Insert the USB device’s USB plug into the socket on the set.

Press SOURCE once or more (or USB on the remote control) to select USB.

Play the USB’s audio files as you do with the albums/tracks on a CD.

Playing a USB mass storage device

With the Hi-Fi system, you can use USB flash memory (USB 2.0 or USB1.1),

USB flash players (USB 2.0 or USB1.1), memory cards (requires an additional card reader to

work with this Hi-Fi system).

Programming and tuning to

radio stations

Press SOURCE on the front panel repeatedly (or TUNER on the

remote control) to select the tuner source.

Press PROG for more than two seconds to program all available

stations in order of waveband.

Press ALBUM/PRESET 4or 3until the desired preset station is

displayed.
