Transfer Call

You can transfer calls to any contact and choose the way to transfer the call. To transfer

a call:

1. From Active Call, Lines, or Calls view, tap Transfer. The active call is held.

2. From the Dialer, place a call to the party you want to transfer the call to.

3. When you hear the ring-back sound, tap Transfer to complete the transfer. Or, if you

want to talk with the person before the transfer completes, you can connect with

the person, and then tap Transfer. To cancel the transfer before the call connects,

tap Cancel.

Answer Calls

You can answer calls using the handset, speakerphone, headset or touchscreen. To

answer a call do one of the following:

• To answer with the speakerphone press or press Answer softkey.

• To answer with the Touchscreen, tap answer.

• To answer with a headset, press .

View Contact Directory

You can view and add contacts to the Contact Directory. To view the Contact Directory:

• Home Key > Dirs > Contact Directory.

View Recent Calls

You can view recent placed, received and missed calls. To view recent calls:

• Home Key > Dirs > Recent Calls

Listening to Voicemail

Your phone may indicate new voicemail messages by the following

To listen to voicemail messages:

1. On the status bar, tap , and tap Message Center. Or, from Home view, tap

Messages, and tap Message Center.

2. If multiple lines are conﬁgured on your phone, the Line Select screen displays. Tap

the line that has the message.

3. From the Messages screen, tap Connect and follow the prompts.

Hold and Resume Calls

You can place any active call on hold. A held call displays in Home, Lines, and Calls view

as follows:

• From Active Call, Lines, or Calls view, tap Hold. If you’re in Calls view, and the active

call isn’t highlighted, be sure to tap it to select it.

• A message counter in Home view, as shown

next. The counter indicates the number of new

messages you have.

• A Messages icon, , on the status bar. If you

have more than one new message, the icon has a

counter indicating the number of new messages

you have. A Messages icon also scrolls under the

time display, and displays next to the phone line

(Lines view only), as shown next.
