Bitte lesen Sie diese Anleitung vor der Nutzung des Gehäuses sorgfältig durch.
Produktinformationen
M.2 ist ein weit verbreiteter Anschlusstyp für SSD-Speicher. Die häugsten Formate sind
2230/2242/2260/2280. M.2-Schnittstellen unterstützen unterschiedliche Key-Anschlüsse: B-Key
SSD (6-Pin), M-Key SSD (5-Pin) und B+M-Key SSD (6-Pin + 5-Pin). Der Slot und das SSD-Modul
müssen den gleichen Key unterstützen, um kompatibel zu sein (siehe nachfolgende Grak).
Überprüfen Sie deshalb den Anschlusstyp Ihrer SSD, um sicherzustellen, dass sie das richtige
M.2 SSD-Gehäuse verwenden.
Bitte beachten Sie:
Dieses Gehäuse unterstützt die Installation einer M.2 PCIe NVMe (Key M und Key B+M) SSD
mit Formfaktor 2230, 2242, 2260 oder 2280.
Das Gehäuse wird zudem mit einem Kühlpad geliefert. Ein Kühlpad erleichtert die Ableitung
der Wärme an das Gehäuse. Dadurch wird die Lese- und Schreibgeschwindigkeit der SSD
deutlich gesteigert.
Damit die Geschwindigkeitsleistung nicht nachlässt, empfehlen wir, das Kühlpad ca. alle
6 Monate auszuwechseln, um eine dauerhafte optimale Kühlwirkung zu erzielen.

Installationsanleitung
1. Den Knopf auf der Unterseite des Gehäuses nach unten drücken und den Hauptkörper des
Gehäuses nach außen schieben und herausnehmen.
2. SSD in den M.2-Anschluss hineinstecken. Die SSD sollte jetzt schräg zur Platine stehen.
3. Die SSD mithilfe des Gumminippels befestigen:
A. SSD vorsichtig nach unten drücken
B. Gumminippel in die Aussparung des Gehäuses drücken.
4. Schutzfolie auf beiden Seiten des Kühlpads abziehen und Kühlpad auf die SSD auegen.
Sicherstellen, dass die Kanten des Kühlpads möglichst bündig mit denen der SSD sind.
Hinweis: Nachdem es sich aufgewärmt hat, kann das Kühlpad zeitweise an der SSD
haften. Zum Wechseln des Kühlpads dieses einfach abkühlen lassen und vorsichtig wieder
abziehen.

Hinweis: Bei Nutzung einer neuen SSD kann es sein, dass der Computer diese nicht
direkt erkennt. In diesem Fall ist es notwendig, die SSD vor der Nutzung zu initialisieren und zu
formatieren. Machen Sie vorher gegebenenfalls eine Sicherungskopie Ihrer Daten, da im
Formatierungsprozess alle Daten gelöscht werden.
Initialisierungs- / Formatierungsprozess
6.1. Rechtsklicken Sie auf das Symbol “Dieser PC” Icon und wählen Sie“Verwalten”.
6.2. Wählen Sie “Datenträgerverwaltung”und Ihre SSD wird daraufhin als“nicht initialisiert”
und“unzugeordnet” angezeigt.
6.3. Rechtsklicken Sie auf das rote SSD-Symbol und wählen Sie “Datenträgerinitialisierung”.

6.4. Wählen Sie “GPT” und klicken Sie “OK”, um die Initialisierung abzuschließen.
6.5. Rechtsklicken Sie auf den Block, in dem “nicht zugeordnet” steht, und wählen Sie
anschließend“Neues einfaches Volume”aus.
6.6. Wählen sie so lange “Weiter” in den Dialogfenstern, bis Sie mit“Fertigstellen” den
Formatierungsprozess starten können.
6.7. Nachdem die Formatierung beendet ist, wird die externe SSD als neuer Datenträger
mit dem Namen„Volume” auf Ihrem Computer angezeigt.

Product information
M.2 solid state drive is the mainstream SSD slot type of the current computer market. Its most
common form factors are 2230/2242/2260/2280. M.2 slots support different Keys: B-Key SSD
(6-Pin), M-Key SSD (5-Pin) and B+M-Key SSD 6-Pin + 5-Pin). The slot and the SSD module are
only compatible if they support the same Key type (see picture below).
Please conrm your SSD type and use the corresponding M.2 SSD enclosure.
Please note:
This enclosure supports the installation of an M.2 PCIe NVMe (Key M and Key B+M) SSD
with form factors 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280.
This product also comes with a thermal pad. A thermal pad helps the heat to dissipate into
the housing more efficiently. This increases the SSD’s writing and reading speed signicantly.
We recommend replacing the thermal pad every six months to ensure maximum
cooling efficiency.

Do NOT disconnect the SSD from the enclosure during data transferral. This might cause les
to get lost or lead to disk damage.
Falling down, squeezing, impacting, and throwing may damage the product.
Keep out of children’s reach.
Keep out of direct sunlight and moist environments.
Avoid static discharge during installation.

Installation instructions
1. Press the buttom on the bottom of the enclosure down and push out the main body.
2. Insert the SSD into the M.2 port of the unit. The SSD should now be angled upwards.
3. Fix the SSD with the fastener:
A. Press down the SSD.
B. Mount the SSD by pressing the fastener into the notch of the enclosure.
4. Remove the protective lm from both sides of the thermal pad. Place the pad on the SSD.
Make sure the edges are even.
Please note: Once it has warmed up, the pad might stick to the SSD. If you want to
change the thermal pad, simply let it cool down and remove it carefully.
