1 DESCRIPTION
1.1 PURPOSE
You may use this product for cutting purposes:
• cutting all types of wood
• cutting plastic
• cutting metals

2 SAFETY
WARNING
Make sure that you do/obey all safety instructions.
Refer to Safety Manual.
3 INSTALLATION
3.1 UNPACK THE MACHINE
WARNING
Make sure that you correctly assemble the machine before
use.
WARNING
• If the parts are damaged, do not use the machine.
• If you do not have all the parts, do not operate the
machine.
• If the parts are damaged or missing, speak to the service
center.
1. Open the package.
2. Read the documentation in the box.
3. Remove all the unassembled parts from the box.
4. Remove the machine from the box.
5. Discard the box and package in compliance with local
regulations.
3.2 INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK

WARNING
• If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace the
battery pack or the charger.
• Stop the machine and wait until the motor stops before
you install or remove the battery pack.
• Read, know, and do the instructions in the battery and
charger manual.
1. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the grooves in
the battery compartment.
2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment until
the battery pack locks into place.
3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed.
3.3 REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK

1. Push and hold the battery release button.
2. Remove the battery pack from the machine.
3.4 INSTALL THE BLADE

1. Remove battery pack.
2. Rotate the blade clamp lock counterclockwise. Hold the
lock in the open position.
3. Insert saw blade between blade clamp and saw bar.
4. Close blade clamp lock.
5. Reinstall the battery pack.
3.5 REMOVE THE BLADE

1. Remove battery pack.
2. Rotate the blade clamp lock counterclockwise. Hold the
lock in the open position.
3. Remove the saw blade.
3.6 INSTALL THE EDGE GUIDE
Figure 4.
Put the edge guide through the two slots in the base of the
machine.
Adjust to the necessary width and lock in place with the edge
guide screw.

4 OPERATION
WARNING
Always wear eye protection.
WARNING
Do not use any attachments or accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer of this product.
4.1 START THE MACHINE

NOTE
The machine can not work when the lock-off button is on
the center.
1. Push the lock-off button to the left or right side to unlock
the trigger.
2. Pull the trigger to turn the machine ON.
Variable speed
The machine has a variable speed switch that delivers higher
speed with increased trigger pressure and lower speed with
decreased trigger pressure.
4.2 STOP THE MACHINE

1. Release the switch trigger.
4.3 ORBITAL MOTION
Orbital motion provides faster, more effcient cutting.
Choose from four orbital adjustment position for fine to
aggressive cutting.

4.4 ADJUST THE FOOTPLATE ANGLE

The footplate may be tilted to allow angle cuts up to 45° in
either direction.
1. Switch the trigger to the right.
2. Adjust the angle as needed.
3. Switch the trigger to the original position.
4.5 OPERATE THE MACHINE

NOTE
For best performance, always select a specified blade for
the particular application and type of material you wish to
cut.
General cutting
1. Put the front of the saw base on the workpiece
2. Align cutting edge of the blade with the line on your
workpiece
3. Start the saw and move it forward on the work surface.
Plunge cutting
1. Make the line of cut clearly on the workpiece.
2. Set the cutting blade at 0.
3. Put the front of the saw base on the workpiece
4. Use high speed to start the machine and slowly lower the
blade into the workpiece until the blade cuts through the
wood.
WARNING
To decrease the risk of injury, keep hands away from the
blade and all moving parts. Always wear safety gloves or
glasses with side shields.
5 MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
Do not let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based materials
touch the plastic parts. Chemicals can cause damage to the
plastic, and make the plastic unserviceable.
CAUTION
Do not use strong solvents or detergents on the plastic
housing or components.
WARNING
Remove the battery pack from the machine before
maintenance.

5.1 CLEAN THE MACHINE
CAUTION
The machine must be dry. Humidity can cause risks of
electrical shocks.
• Clear the unwanted material out of the air vent with a
vacuum cleaner.
• Do not spray the air vent or put the air vent in solvents.
• Clean the housing and the plastic components with a
moist and soft cloth.
5.2 GENERAL MANINTENANCE
• Before each use, examine the machine for damaged,
missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts and
caps.
• Clean the machine with a dry cloth. Do not use slovents.
WARNING

7 WARRANTY

The Powerworks warranty is 3 years on the product, and 2
years on batteries (consumer/private usage) from the date of
purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing faults. A faulty
product under warranty might be either repaired or replaced.
A unit that has been misused or used in other ways then
described in the owner’s manual might be rejected for
warranty. Normal wear, and wear parts are not considered as
warranty. The original manufacturer warranty is not affected
by any additional warranty offered by a dealer or retailer.
A faulty product must be returned to the point of purchase in
order to claim for warranty, together with the proof of
purchase (receipt).

2 SICHERHEIT
WARNUNG
Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise

3 MONTAGE
3.1 MASCHINE AUSPACKEN
WARNUNG
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie die Maschine vor dem
Gebrauch richtig montiert haben.
WARNUNG
• Bei beschädigten Teilen dürfen Sie die Maschine nicht
verwenden.
• Wenn Sie nicht alle Teile haben, dürfen Sie die
Maschine nicht in Betrieb nehmen.
• Wenn Teile beschädigt sind oder fehlen, wenden Sie
sich an die Servicestelle.
1. Öffnen Sie die Verpackung.
2. Lesen Sie die beiliegende Dokumentation.
3. Entnehmen Sie alle unmontierten Teile aus dem Karton.
4. Nehmen Sie die Maschine aus dem Karton.
5. Entsorgen Sie den Karton und die Verpackung gemäß den
örtlichen Vorschriften.
3.2 AKKUPACK EINSETZEN

WARNUNG
• Wenn der Akkupack oder das Ladegerät beschädigt ist,
ersetzen Sie den Akkupack oder das Ladegerät.
• Stoppen Sie die Maschine und warten Sie, bis der
Motor stoppt, bevor Sie den Akkupack einbauen oder
entnehmen.
• Lesen, kennen und befolgen Sie die Anweisungen im
Handbuch für Akku und Ladegerät.
1. Richten Sie die Hubrippen am Akkupack mit den Nuten
im Akkufach aus.
2. Schieben Sie den Akkupack in das Akkufach, bis er
einrastet.
3. Wenn Sie ein Klicken hören, ist der Akkupack eingesetzt.
3.3 AKKUPACK ENTFERNEN

1. Drücken und halten Sie die Batterieentriegelungstaste.
2. Nehmen Sie den Akkupack aus der Maschine.
3.4 INSTALLIEREN DER KLINGE

1. Entfernen Sie den Akkupack.
2. Drehen Sie die Klingenklemme gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.
Sichern Sie die Klemme im offenen Zustand.
3. Setzen Sie das Sägeblatt zwischen Klingenklemme und
Sägebalken ein.
4. Schließen Sie die Klingenklemme wieder.
5. Setzen Sie den Akkupack wieder ein.
3.5 ENTFERNEN DER KLINGE

1. Entfernen Sie den Akkupack.
2. Drehen Sie die Klingenklemme gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.
Sichern Sie die Klemme im offenen Zustand.
3. Entfernen Sie das Sägeblatt.
3.6 DIE KANTENFÜHRUNG
MONTIEREN

Schieben Sie die Kantenführung durch die beiden Schlitze in
der Fußplatte.

der Kantenführungsschraube.
4 BEDIENUNG
WARNUNG
Tragen Sie immer einen Augenschutz.
WARNUNG
Verwenden Sie keine Aufsätze oder Zubehörteile, die nicht
vom Hersteller dieses Produkts empfohlen werden.
4.1 MASCHINE STARTEN

HINWEIS
Wenn die Sperrtaste mittig steht, kann die Maschine nicht
arbeiten.
1. Drücken Sie die Sperrtaste nach links oder rechts, um den
Auslöser zu entriegeln.
2. Ziehen Sie den Auslöser, um die Maschine einzuschalten.
Variable Geschwindigkeit
Die Maschine verfügt über einen Schalter für die variable
Geschwindigkeit, der bei erhöhtem Auslösedruck eine höhere
Geschwindigkeit bei geringerem Auslösedruck und eine
niedrigere Geschwindigkeit liefert.
4.2 MASCHINE ANHALTEN

1. Lassen Sie den Schaltauslöser los.
4.3 SÄGEBLATT-NEIGUNG
Durch Neigung des Sägeblatts lässt sich der Sägevorgang
schneller und effizienter gestalten.
Wählen Sie aus vier Neigungswinkeln für feines bis grobes
Sägen.

Harte Materialien wie Metalle oder Fein-
blechmetalle. Diese Einstellung kann für
Sägeblätter mit geradem oder Wellenschl-
iff, granulatbeschichtete Sägeblätter, Stoß-

4.4 EINSTELLEN DES
FUSSPLATTENWINKELS

Die Fußplatte kann geneigt werden, um Winkelschnitte bis zu
45° in beide Richtungen zu ermöglichen.
1. Schalten Sie den Auslöser nach rechts.
2. Stellen Sie den Winkel wie benötigt ein.
3. Schalten Sie den Auslöser in die Ausgangsposition.
4.5 BEDIENUNG DER MASCHINE

HINWEIS
Für optimale Leistung wird empfohlen, immer ein Sägeblatt
zu wählen, das sich für die jeweilige Anwendung und das
zu sägende Material eignet.
Einfaches Sägen
1. Setzen Sie die Vorderseite des Sägefußes auf das
Werkstück
2. Richten Sie die Sägekante des Sägeblatts nach der Linie
auf Ihrem Werkstück aus
3. Schalten Sie die Säge an und führen Sie sie vorwärts über
das Werksstück.
Tauchschnitt
1. Zeichnen Sie die Schnittlinie exakt und deutlich auf dem
Werkstück auf.
2. Stellen Sie die Neigung des Sägeblatts auf 0.
3. Setzen Sie die Vorderseite des Sägefußes auf das
Werkstück
4. Starten Sie die Maschine mit hoher Geschwindigkeit und
senken Sie das Sägeblatt langsam in das Werkstück
hinein, bis die Klinge das Holz durchdrungen hat.
WARNUNG
Um das Verletzungsrisiko zu verringern, halten Sie die
Hände von der Schneide und allen beweglichen Teilen fern.
Tragen Sie immer Schutzhandschuhe oder ene Schutzbrille
mit Seitenabdeckungen.
