SETUP
The Crescendo 1 comes in two parts:
i. The main amplier unit (with volume and mute
controls), which plugs into the 3.5mm headphone
jack on the front edge of the PS4 controller.
ii. The PowerPak 1 which plugs into the Micro-USB slot on
the PS4 controller and ts underneath the controller.
You will need to install the PowerPak 1 rst.
1. The PowerPak 1 will require charging before use.
Please give the PowerPak 1 a full 3-4 hour charge
utilising the micro-usb cable provided in the box.
2. Connect the PowerPak 1 to the PS4 controller by
plugging it into the Micro-USB slot on the rear of the
controller below the Sony logo and light panel.
3. The device won’t provide power to the PS4 controller
until the power button is pressed, at which point a
small red LED will illuminate and the controller’s light
panel will glow. Whilst plugged into the PS4 controller,
if the LED ashes red, it indicates the battery is low.
Please charge the PowerPak 1 immediately.

You will need to install the amplier next.
4. Take your amplier and locate the two connectors.
Simultaneously push the connectors into the
headphone jack of the PS4 controller and
the port in the back of the PowerPak 1.
5. Switch the unit ON via the On/Off switch.
6. Utilise the volume wheel to boost the volume to
your satisfaction. You can mute your mic from the
Crescendo 1 itself instead of via your headset if you
prefer, or if your headset lacks a mute control.
CAUTION!
• Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. An adult
should supervise young children when using this product.
• Do not store in areas of extreme low (0°C) or
high (40°C) temperatures. Avoid direct sunlight,
heat sources and extreme humidity.
• Do not allow the product to get wet or
dirty; doing so may cause damage.
• Do not clean any parts with alcohol, cleaning solutions
containing alcohol or strong abrasives.
• Do not dispose of this product in re or in normal household
waste. Please take it to an electrical waste collection point.
• There are no user serviceable parts within this product. Do not
take the product apart; doing so will void your warranty and
may cause electrical shock or damage to internal components.

Both the PowerPak 1 and Crescendo Amplier must
be switched on for audio to pass through to your
headset. If the PowerPak 1 is on but the Crescendo 1
amplier is switched off, no audio will be heard.

INSTALLATION
Le Crescendo 1 comprend deux éléments :
i. L’amplicateur principal (avec les commandes de
volume et de sourdine), à brancher sur la che
casque 3,5 mm sur la face avant de la manette PS4.
ii. Le PowerPak 1, à brancher sur la che micro-USB de la
manette PS4, et qui se loge en dessous de la manette.
Vous devez commencer par installer le PowerPak 1.
1. Il est nécessaire de charger le PowerPak 1
avant de l’utiliser. Veuillez laisser le PowerPak
1 se charger pendant 3 à 4 heures à l’aide du
câble micro-USB fourni dans la boîte.
2. Branchez le PowerPak 1 sur la che micro-USB
située à l’arrière de la manette PS4, en dessous
du logo Sony et des voyants lumineux.
3. L’appareil n’alimentera pas la manette PS4 tant que vous
n’aurez pas appuyé sur la touche d’alimentation. Une fois
ceci fait, un petit voyant DEL s’allumera, et les voyants
lumineux de la manette se mettront à briller. Si le voyant
DEL clignote en rouge pendant que la manette PS4 est
branchée sur l’appareil, cela signie que la batterie est
faible. Veuillez immédiatement recharger le PowerPak 1.

4. Prenez l’amplicateur et localisez les deux
connecteurs. Insérez simultanément les deux
connecteurs dans la che casque de la manette
PS4 et dans le port à l’arrière du PowerPak 1.
5. Mettez l’appareil en MARCHE en
appuyant sur le bouton ON/OFF.
6. Utilisez la molette de volume pour augmenter le son selon
vos préférences. Vous pouvez mettre votre microphone
en sourdine depuis le Crescendo 1 au lieu de passer par
les commandes de votre casque si vous le préférez,
ou si ce dernier est dénué d’un bouton de sourdine.
ATTENTION !
• Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 3 ans.
L’utilisation de ce produit par un enfant doit se
produire sous la supervision d’un adulte.
• Ne pas stocker dans des températures extrêmes (0 °C
ou 40 °C). Éviter toute exposition à la lumière du soleil,
ou à des sources de chaleur ou d’humidité extrême.
• Éviter de mouiller ou de salir le produit.
Cela pourrait l’endommager.
• Ne pas nettoyer les composants avec de l’alcool, des solutions
de nettoyage alcoolisées ou des abrasifs virulents.
• Ne pas jeter ce produit dans le feu ou dans les déchets
ordinaires de la maison. Ce produit est à emporter
à un point de collecte des déchets électriques.

Le PowerPak 1 et le Crescendo Amplier doivent tous deux
être allumés pour que l’audio puisse passer dans votre
casque. Si le PowerPak est allumé mais que le Crescendo
1 Amplier est éteint, vous n’entendrez aucun son.

EINRICHTUNG
Der Crescendo 1 besteht aus zwei Teilen:
i. Die primäre Audioverstärkereinheit (mit
Steuerung für Lautstärke und Stummschalten),
die an die 3,5-mm-Kopfhörerbuchse vorne
am PS4-Controller angeschlossen wird.
ii. Das PowerPak 1, das über den Micro-USB-
Port des PS4-Controllers verbunden und
unter dem Controller angebracht wird.
Du musst zuerst das PowerPak 1 installieren.
1. Das PowerPak 1 muss vor der erstmaligen Verwendung
aufgeladen werden. Lade das PowerPak 1 vollständig über
das mitgelieferte Micro-USB-Kabel auf (3-4 Stunden).
2. Verbinde das PowerPak 1 mit deinem PS4-
Controller, indem du es an den Micro-USB-Port
an der Unterseite des Controllers (unter dem
Sony-Logo und der Beleuchtung) anschließt.
3. Das Gerät versorgt den PS4-Controller erst dann mit
Strom, wenn du die Power-Taste drückst. Eine kleine
rote LED wird dann aueuchten und die Beleuchtung
des Controllers wird aktiviert. Wenn die LED rot
blinkt, während das Gerät mit dem PS4-Controller

Als Nächstes musst du den Verstärker installieren.
4. Nimm den Verstärker in die Hand und suche die zwei
Anschlüsse. Führe die beiden Anschlüsse simultan
in die Kopfhörerbuchse des PS4-Controllers und
den Port an der Rückseite des PowerPak 1 ein.
5. Schalte die Einheit über den An-/Aus-Schalter EIN.
6. Stelle die Lautstärke mit dem Lautstärkeregler
entsprechend ein. Du kannst dein Mikrofon
entweder direkt über den Crescendo 1
stummschalten, wenn du möchtest oder dein
Headset nicht über diese Funktion verfügt.
WARNUNG!
• Nicht geeignet für Kinder unter 3 Jahren. Kleine Kinder dürfen das
Produkt nur unter der Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen verwenden.
• Nicht an Orten aufbewahren, die extrem niedrige (0°C) oder
extrem hohe (40°C) Temperatur aufweisen. Vermeiden Sie direkte
Sonneneinstrahlung, Hitzequellen und extreme Feuchtigkeit.
• Das Gerät darf weder nass noch schmutzig
werden, da dies zu Schäden führen kann.

eingeschaltet sein damit das Tonsignal an Ihrem Headset
ankommt. Falls der PowerPak 1 eingeschaltet ist aber
der Crescendo-Verstärker nicht, hören Sie nichts.
