2. Place the jug (6) beneath the spout (11).
3. Turn on the appliance by turning the knob (10) to I (normal speed) or II (high speed). Note that

TIPS
• Preferably use fresh fruit and vegetables, as they are juicier. This appliance is particularly
suitable for pineapples, beetroot, celery, apples, cucumbers, carrots, spinach, melons,
tomatoes, pomegranates, oranges and grapes.
• Fruit does not necessarily need to be peeled, except for thick-skinned fruit (oranges, pineapples,
raw beetroot, etc.). Also remove seeds and stones as they give the juice a bitter taste and can
damage the lter (3) or grater (3).
• For apple juice, note that the thickness of the juice depends on the type of apple used. A juicier
apple will give a more liquid juice. Choose a type of apple that matches your preferred juice
texture. Also note that apple juice oxidises very quickly. To slow down the process, add a few
drops of lemon juice.
• Starchy fruit (bananas, papayas, avocados, gs, mangoes, etc.) cannot be processed with this
appliance. Use a blender, food processor or hand blender for this type of fruit.

77
EN
• This appliance can also be used to process leaves and stems (e.g. lettuce).
• Drink the juice immediately after extracting it. When exposed to the air, the juice gradually loses
its taste and nutritional values.
• To extract as much juice as possible each time, always push the pusher (1) down slowly.
• This device is not suitable for hard and/or brous and/or starchy fruit and vegetables (e.g. sugar
cane).
6. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning products or other abrasive or corrosive liquids
(alcohol, petrol, acetone, etc.) to clean the appliance.
The appliance is easy to clean if you get into the habit of doing so immediately after each use.
1. Turn off the appliance. Unplug the appliance and wait for the lter (3) to come to a complete
stop.
2. Remove dirt from the motor unit (8). Disassemble the appliance in the following order:
a. Remove the pulp container (7).
b. Remove the pusher (1).
c. Open the latch (9).
d. Remove the feeding tube (2).
3. Remove the juice collector (4) and the lter (3).
4. These parts can be cleaned with a brush in hot water and washing-up liquid. Rinse them under
the tap.
5. Wipe the motor unit (8) with a damp cloth.
6. Do not immerse the motor unit (8) in water or rinse it under the tap.
