user manual for future reference.
• This privacy screen is only to be used as a sun and privacy screen, so
it should be retracted in strong wind and rain.
• Do not change anything to the design or construction of the privacy
screen as this could cause personal injury.
• You need technical skills to assemble this privacy screen. Do not
assemble the privacy screen yourself if you are unsure whether it can
be installed in the place you want, if you do not understand this user
manual or parts of it, if you do not have the necessary tools or if you do
not have the necessary skills.
• Contact a professional to help you.
• Keep children and pets at a safe distance when assembling and adjusting
your privacy screen.
• Make sure your hands are clean when assembling the screen, otherwise
the fabric and the frame may get dirty.
• You can damage the privacy screen if you use it when there is a frost
or when the temperature falls below zero.
• Do not place an open fire, for example a barbecue grill, closer than
2 metres from the privacy screen.

ASSEMBLY
To assemble your privacy screen,
you need to use a drill and drill bit
that are suitable for your particular
wall. Talk to a professional if you are
unsure which drill bit is right for your
wall. Make sure the privacy screen
and ground support line up with each
other horizontally. If they do not, it
will deform the fabric and impair the
function of the privacy screen.

Mark where you are going to drill the holes
for the wall brackets. Then use a suitable
drill and drill bit to drill the holes into the
wall. Use the wall brackets as a template.
There must be a distance of approximately
30 cm from the ground and at least 1 metre
between the wall brackets.
You may need to use the plugs that are
included, depending on the kind of wall
you have. Talk to a professional if you are
unsure. Screw the wall attachments into
the wall using suitable screws for your wall.

Put the privacy screen into the wall brackets
and lock it into place using the socket head
screws that are pre-assembled in the wall
brackets. The privacy screen must rest on
the ground.
Mark where you are going to

USE
DEPLOY
1. Grip the handle of the privacy screen and pull it slowly outwards.
It is important for the fabric to be horizontal at all times.
2. Put the handle into the notch of the ground support, from
the handle down to the ground. Release the handle to lock it
securely to the ground support.
RETRACT
1. Press the lock catch on the handle and lift the handle upwards.
2. Let the fabric roll slowly back in. It is important for you not to
release the handle until all of the fabric has been completely
rolled back in. You need to keep the fabric horizontal when it is
being rolled back, otherwise you could damage it.
Warning! When the fabric is extended, it is very taut. Never
let the fabric go when it is extended. You must always roll the
fabric back in.
MAINTENANCE
• Avoid getting any stains on the fabric. The fabric must be clean and dry when you
roll it in. If you have to roll it in when it is wet, you should roll it out again as soon as
possible to allow it to dry out.
• Check the wall brackets regularly to make sure they are secure.
• Check the screws twice a year. Tighten them if they are loose.
• Do not use the privacy screen if it is damaged or if it is unstable.
CLEANING
• Dust and dirt will collect on the cassette box over time. It is therefore important to
clean the privacy screen regularly to make sure it looks good.
• You can use a mild spray cleaner or a mixture of water and detergent on the cassette
box before wiping it clean.
• Clean the fabric carefully with a mild detergent diluted with cold or warm water. Do not
use alkaline or acid detergents. Do not use natural soap. Let the fabric dry completely
by airing it out. Do not dry it with, for example, a hair dryer or other heating appliances.
• Do not use a pressure washer as it can damage the fabric.

STORAGE
• If you are not going to use the privacy screen for an extended period of time, it should
be dismantled and stored in a dry, dust-free and safe place, out of the way of children.
• In the winter the privacy screen must be stored in a dry, dust-free and safe place, out
of the way of children.
• Make sure that the fabric is dry before storing the privacy screen away.

skyddet om någon del skulle saknas eller
vara skadad. För montering behöver du

MONTERING
För att montera insynsskyddet behöver
du använda borr och borrmaskin anpassade
för just din vägg. Är du osäker på vilken
borr som är rätt för din vägg, rådgör med
fackman. Tänk på att insynsskyddet och
markfästet måste monteras på ett plant
underlag så att de linjerar med varandra
horisontellt. Görs inte detta kommer väven
att deformeras och insynsskyddets funk-
tion kommer försämras.

Använd väggfästena som mall för avstånd

lås fast det med insexsskruvarna som sitter
förmonterade i väggfästena. Insynsskyddet
ska vila mot underlaget.
