Features & Benets

01. Free Combination

Enjoy the flexibility to freely connect your outdoor unit to any existing or new indoor units.* The Hylex (Hybrid Flexible

Single) works reliably and effectively with a wide variety of indoor units*, such as air handling units (AHU) and Furnaces

with an A-coil, that have a matching internal volume**.

* Only dry contact indoor units are compatible.

** Based on the manufacturer's operating guidelines.

02. Easy Replacement

Peplace or upgrade the outdoor unit with minimal disruption. The Hylex (Hybrid Flexible Single) works effectively

with various indoor units*. So if your outdoor unit malfunctions or you want to upgrade to an inverter system it

can be easily installed without replacing your existing indoor unit* and thermostat.

History

03. 2-wire Connection

Reduce the time and cost of the electrical installation. Only 2 wires are needed to connect the outdoor unit to an indoor

unit, which are usually available from previous systems. It simplies the installation process as no additional wiring is

required, so it's quicker and more cost effective.

Functions of the AHU Control Unit (ACU)

• The AHU Control Unit (ACU) controls the system based on input signals from a 24VAC thermostat.

• The AHU Control Unit (ACU) provides 24 VAC output signals for the thermostat to the third-party indoor unit. See page

7 for the circuit diagram for the AHU Control Unit (ACU).

• Specications may be subject to change without prior notice.

1) Performances are based on the following test conditions.

− Cooling : Indoor temperature : 80°F(26.7°C) DB, 67°F(19.4°C) WB, Outdoor temperature : 95°F(35°C) DB, 75°F(23.9°C) WB

− Heating : Indoor temperature : 70°F(21.1°C) DB, 60°F(15.6°C) WB, Outdoor temperature : 47°F(8.3°C) DB, 43°F(6.1°C) WB

− Equivalent refrigerant pipe length 7.5m (24.6ft), Level differences 0m (0ft)

2) Select wire size based on the value of MCA

3) Sound pressure level is obtained in an anechoic room.

− Sound pressure level is a relative value, depending on the distance and acoustic environment.

− Sound pressure level may differ depending on operation condition.

− dBA = A-weighted sound pressure level / Reference acoustic pressure 0 dB = 20uPa

4) Sound power level is an absolute value that a sound source generates.

− dBA = A-weighted sound power level

− Reference power : 1pW / Measured according to ISO 3741

5) These products contain R410A which is uorinated greenhouse gas.
