Precautions

Some

semiconductor

devices

can

easily

damaged

static

Such

components

are

commonly

called

Electrostatically

Sensitive

Devices

Examples

typical

ESD

are

integrated

circuits

and

some

field-effect

transistors.

The

following

techniques

will

reduce

the

incidence

component

damage

caused

static

1-2

Immediately

before

handling

any

semiconductor
