General

Introduction

This Document describes the integration of the control4all Mobile Gateway into a control4

system.

Features

-Ring to a external Phone when someone is Ringing at the Doorstation with 2-way Audio.*

-Trigger the Door Relay to open the Door. *

-Ring from a external Phone to a Panel or Intercom Group.

-Sending Text Messages, in development ***

Supported Hardware and Software

Currently tested and supported:

-control4 Software Version 2.5.3

-Koch Door Station

-control4all Mobile Gateway MV-370 (Special Firmware)

-control4 In-Wall 7" Touch Screen V2 **

Limitations

* tested with Koch Doorstation

** only inbound calls, outbound audio fails.

Installation

Installing the Hardware

Unpack the Device

Open the cover on the Backside

Locate the SIM Card Slot

Place the Card that the Edge of the Card is right in front to you

Close the Cover

Connect the Antenna, Ethernet and Power Supply.

Configuration

Prepare control4 System

Launch Composer

Connect to Controller

Goto “System Design”

Add „3rd Party SIP Phone“ Driver to Project

Enter desired Username and Password

(i.e. User “100” and Password “1234”)

Click “Apply”

Configure GSM Gateway

Logon to Gateway

Launch Webbrowser

Open http://<ip_of_gateway> and the Logon-Window appears

(default: 192.168.0.100)



Enter Default Username “voip” and Password “1234”

Click “Login”

Network Settings

Verify Network Settings. We recommend to use static IP Address Configuration.

If you want to be able to make Inbound Calls (i.e. to a Touch-Panel) apply these Settings

otherwise leave the Table blank.

Caller ID. If you put a “*” any call is accepted.

The Format is:

-<panel_mac_id>@<controller_ip> for a Single Panel

-<intercom_group>@<controller_ip> for a Intercom Group

After rebooting the Gateway check the status is “Registered”.

Otherwise check Username/Password.

DTMF Setting

These Settings are important if you want to able to trigger the Relay on the Koch-Doorstation.

This can be done by pressing “*7” on the called phone.

SIP Response Setting

Due an incompatibility on the control4 SIP implementation make sure that ”183 Session in

Progress” is set to OFF.

All other Settings on the Gateway can be left as default.
