当航向或航迹控制系统激活时，值班报警装置将自动投入运行；当航向或航
迹控制系统停止时，值班报警装置也将自动退出运行状态。

2.2 指示和报警的工作流程
Operational sequence of indications and alarms
2.2.1 一旦投入运行，值班报警装置将持续一段时间的报警休眠期，报警休
眠期在 3～12 分钟可选。
Once operational, the watch alarm system remains dormant for a period
of between 3 and 12 min.
2.2.2 在休眠期即将结束时，值班报警装置将在驾驶室发出一个视觉报警指
示。
At the end of this dormant period, the watch alarm system will initiate a
visual indication on the bridge.
2.2.3 如果没有复位，值班报警装置将在驾驶室的视觉报警指示 15 秒后，
在驾驶室增加报警声响，此为第一阶段的报警声响。
If not reset, the watch alarm system will additionally sound a first stage
audible alarm on the bridge 15s after the visual indication is initiated.
2.2.4 如果没有复位，值班报警装置将在第一阶段的报警声响触发 15 秒后，
将报警声响延伸至后备驾驶员和/或船长室，此为第二阶段的报警声响。
If not reset, the watch alarm system will additionally sound a second
stage remote audible alarm in the backup officer’s and/or Captain’s location
15s after the first stage audible alarm is initiated.
