2. This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and
understand the potential hazards. Children must not play with the
device. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by
unsupervised children.
3. The digital kitchen scale is intended for household use only. Do not use
the scale for commercial and laboratory purposes.
4. Have all repairs carried out by a specialized service! Do not disassemble
the scale or remove any components.
5. The scale is intended for weighing food or liquids.
6. The scale must be placed on a at, hard and stable surface (otherwise the
weighing would be inaccurate).
7. Do not subject the scale to shocks, vibrations or drop it on the oor.
8. Handle the scale carefully to avoid damage.
9. Pets must not be weighed on the scale.
10. Do not immerse the scale in water or any other liquid.
11. Do not store household items on the scale. When not in use, ensure that
no objects are placed on the weighing surface.
12. Keep the scale clean. Follow the cleaning instructions in this manual. Do
not wash the scale in running water.

Warning about batteries
When inserting batteries, follow the polarity markings in the battery space.
Do not throw batteries into re. Do not short-circuit, disassemble or damage the bat-
teries.
Always replace the entire set of batteries at once. Do not mix old and new batteries or
different types of batteries.
Replace empty batteries in time to prevent electrolyte leakage.
If you will not be using the appliance for a long time, remove the batteries.
DISPOSAL OF USED BATTERIES
Batteries contain materials harmful to the environment. Therefore, do not
dispose of batteries in regular municipal waste. Dispose of used batteries
properly at collection points.

USE
Before First Use
Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging. Before disposing of the
packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check the appliance and accessories for
damage.
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a soft sponge slightly moistened with warm
water.
Remove insulator foil from battery contacts, otherwise scale will not function.
If the scale cannot be switched on, check that the batteries are inserted or that the
batteries are not discharged. Insert the batteries or replace the batteries with new
ones.
Battery replacement
Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the scale.
Remove empty batteries; use a suitable tool if necessary.

Insert new batteries. Observe the correct polarity, which is marked on the bottom of
the battery compartment. Attach cover plate and press down until it clicks into place.
Note:
If the display shows the error message "Lo", the batteries must be re-
placed.
Using the scale
1. Place the scale on an even, rm and stable surface.
2. Press the button to turn on the scale. Wait until “0“ is displayed.
3. Repeatedly press the UNIT button to select the desired weighing mode and unit.
The relevant indicator and unit will light up on the display.
4. Place the container into which you will place the ingredients on the weighing
surface.
5. Swipe over the TARE sensor and wait until the display shows "0".
6. Put the ingredients you want to weigh in the container. The display will show the
value.
7. When the weighing is complete, remove the container from the weighing surface.
The display shows a negative value.
8. Press the button for 3 seconds to turn the scale off.
Note:
Solid objects can be weighed directly on the weighing surface without
the need for a container. In this case, follow the same procedure as de-
scribed above, but skip steps 4 and 5.
Tare function
These features allow you to weigh ingredients gradually added onto the scale, without
removing the previously weighed ones.
1. Place the rst batch on the scale; its weight will appear on the display.
2. Swipe over the TARE sensor and the display will reset to zero.
3. Now, more ingredients can be added. The display will show the weight of the new
ingredients.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with more ingredients as necessary.
Note:
You can recall the total weight of current loads during the weighing, by
moving your nger of the TARE sensor. If you want to continue the weigh-
ing, just follow the same operation to activate the TARE function again.
Switching units
You can switch between the units of measurement (metric, i.e. g / ml and imperial,
i.e. lb:oz / ’oz) using the UNIT button on the bottom of the scale. When the scale
is switched on, press the UNIT button. The display shows the currently used unit of
measurement. Press the button again to switch the unit.
When metric is selected, the default units are “g“ and “ml“.
If you choose imperial units, the default units are "lb:oz" and "´oz".

Turning off the scale
The scale automatically switches off after 2 minutes of inactivity, or you can switch it off
by long pressing the button.
Error messages
Err If you load the scale more than the permissible limit, the following error mes-
sage will appear on the display. Reduce the load to prevent damage to the
scale.
Lo Low battery warning. Replace the batteries with new ones as instructed
above.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Use a damp cloth to clean the scale. DO NOT USE chemical / abrasive cleaning agents.
Do not immerse the scale in water!
Clean all plastic parts immediately after contact with greasy substances, spices, vine-
gar or avourings. Avoid splashing sour citrus juice on the scale!
Always keep the scale in a horizontal position.
Storage
Store the scale in a safe, dry place. If you will not be using the scale for a long time,
remove the batteries.

7. Setzen Sie die Waage keinen Stößen oder Erschütterungen aus. Geben
Sie Acht, damit die Waage nicht zu Boden stürzt.
8. Gehen Sie bei der Manipulation mit der Waage vorsichtig vor, damit
diese nicht beschädigt wird.
9. Die Waage ist nicht zum Wiegen von Haustieren bestimmt.
10. Tauchen Sie die Waage nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
11. Verwenden Sie die Waage nicht zur Aufbewahrung von Gegenständen.
Wenn Sie die Waage nicht benutzen, sorgen Sie dafür, dass sich auf dem
Wägebereich keine Gegenstände benden.
12. Halten Sie die Waage sauber. Befolgen Sie bei der Reinigung die in
dieser Bedienungsanleitung angeführten Hinweise. Waschen Sie die
Waage nicht unter ießendem Wasser.
Warnhinweis zu Batterien
Achten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterien auf die im internen Batteriefach gekennzeich-
nete Polarität.
Werfen Sie Batterien nicht ins Feuer. Schließen Sie die Batterie nicht kurz, zerlegen Sie
sie nicht und beschädigen Sie sie nicht.
Wechseln Sie stets das ganze Batterie-Set auf einmal aus. Kombinieren Sie nicht alte
und neue Batterien oder verschiedene Batterie-Typen.
Wechseln Sie alte Batterien rechtzeitig aus, damit das Elektrolyt nicht ausießt.
Wenn Sie das Produkt längere Zeit nicht benutzen, sollten Sie die Batterien heraus-
nehmen.
ENTSORGUNG VON ALTBATTERIEN
Die Batterien enthalten umweltschädliche Stoffe. Entsorgen Sie daher
die Batterien nicht über den gewöhnlichen Hausmüll. Geben Sie Altbat-
terien zur ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgung an einer zuständigen Sammel-
stelle ab.
