Important
●Before connecting the appliance, please check if the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds with the main voltage in your home.
●Do not place the appliance on a hot surface.
●Remove the main plug from the wall socket;
-if problems occur during making coffee;
-before cleaning the appliance.
●Do not allow the main cord to come into contact with hot surface.
●Use the appliance out of children reach. Prevent them from pulling the main cord.
●Never use the appliance of the main cord plug or the appliance itself was damaged.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
●Do not use appliance for other than intended household use.
●Do pour any water once the appliance has been turned on.
●The heating plate is hot when in operation. Do not touch-risk of severe burn!
●To fill the water tank use fresh cold water only.
●Children shall not play with the appliance.
●Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
●This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

Before first use
For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3 boil-processes with fresh water (without coffee). Once
all the water has passed through, switch off the ap pliance and let it co ol down during 5
minutes. Then repeat the process with fresh water.
Making coffee
●Fill the water tank with the required quantity of water. Ensure that the water level is not
lower th an the minimum mar k and not h igher than in dication “MA X”. Use fresh, cold
water only. The number of cups can be read on the water tank.
●Insert filter paper size “1X4” if the filter hasn’t been used and fill in the desired quantity of
ground coffee.
●Switch on the appl iance. Wait until the bre wing pr ocess is finished an d the funne l has
run empty.
● For large cups: takes 5-6g of ground coffee each cup.
Making more coffee straight away?
If you have made one cup of coffee and wish to make s ome more straight away, please
switch off the coffee maker and allow at least 5 minutes for it to cool down. Then you can
refill the water tank.
Clean
●Always remove the main plug from the wall socket before cleaning the appliance.
●Never immerse the appliance in water.
●You should clean it with a damp cloth.
●The carafe and the filter and the funnel can be washed in hot soapy water.
Descaling
●Descale your coffee maker regularly.
●Operate the appliance as described. However, now use ordinary vinegar to fill the water
tank and do not fill the funnel with ground coffee.
●After descali ng let the a ppliance work t wice more with only water to rinse a way th e
vinegar and scale remainders.

Før første brug
For at opnå den bedste kaffeoplevelse skal du lade kaffemaskinen køre 2-3 kander rent vand
igennem (uden kaffebønner), inden du brygger kaffe første gang. Når kaffemaskinen har kørt en
kande vand igennem, skal du slukke for den og lade den køle af i cirka 5 minutter. Gentag derefter
processen med rent drikkevand.
Brygge kaffe
Fyld den ønskede mængde vand i vandtanken. Vandstanden skal være mellem mærkerne Min og
Max. Brug kun frisk, koldt vand.Antallet af kopper kan aflæses på vandstandsmåleren.
Sæt et kaffefilter str. 1x4 i filterholderen, og hæld den ønskede mængde malet kaffe i filteret.
Tænd for kaffemaskinen. Vent, indtil bryggeprocessen er overstået, og det sidste vand er løbet
gennem filteret.
Til store kopper: Beregn 5-6 gram malet kaffe til hver kop.
Hvis du vil brygge mere end én kande kaffe
Hvis du har brygget en kande kaffe og gerne vil brygge en mere, skal du slukke for kaffemaskinen
og lade den køle af i mindst 5 minutter. Derefter kan du fylde vandbeholderen og lave en kande
mere.
Rengøring
Tag stikket ud af stikkontakten, før du rengør kaffemaskinen.
Nedsænk aldrig kaffemaskinen i vand.
Rengør kaffemaskinen med en hårdt opvredet klud.
Glaskanden, filterholderen og tragten kan vaskes i varmt sæbevand.
Afkalkning
Husk af afkalke kaffemaskinen regelmæssigt.
Brug kaffemaskinen som beskrevet ovenfor, men lad være med at fylde malet kaffe i filteret, og
fyld i stedet vandbeholderen med eddike eller afkalkningsmiddel.
Når kaffemaskinen er afkalket, skal der køres to kander rent vand igennem for at fjerne resterne af
kalken samt eddiken eller afkalkningsmidlet.

Kaffemaskinen har “auto shut-off” funktion.
