Solight FP06 Bedienungsanleitung

The photo trap with a wide-angle lens and infrared sensor is

used to observe game, secure objects or any indoor or

outdoor areas. Please read these instructions carefully before

use. Package includes: 1x photo trap, 1x installation kit, 1x

user manual, 1x mounting belt, 1x wall mount, 1x USB-C

cable.

FIRST CONSECRATION

Release the handles on the left side of the photo trap to open

the rear cover of the device.

Notice

-The photo trap supports SD class 10 and higher cards.

-Always switch the device off (switch in OFF position)

when handling the batteries and SD card.

After opening the back cover:

1. Insert SD card

2. Remove the battery cover

3. Insert batteries (Alternatively, charge the device for at

least 8 hours using a USB cable)

4. Switch the slider to the "SETUP" position

Date and time display

TRANSMITTER

OFF: In this mode, the device is completely switched off and

you can connect/disconnect the memory card or change the

batteries.

SETUP: In this mode, the device is switched on and you can

record videos and take photos manually. You can also view

the videos/photos you have already taken or change the

settings of the device. In this mode, the PIR sensor is active,

if the sensor is activated, the indicator light will turn on.

However, the photo trap will not save the photo or video.

ON: When switched from SETUP mode to ON mode, the

camera enters a low-power standby mode, the display turns

off, and the button controls are disabled. The camera will

only respond to PIR sensors. When the PIR sensor is

activated, it will turn on and take photos or record video,

then return to standby mode.

MENU ITEMS

1. Mode

Photo, Video, Photo+Video, select whether to take photos or

videos when motion is detected. In Photo+Video mode, the

camera first takes a set number of photos before recording

video.

2. Photo resolution

Select the desired photo resolution. Higher resolution

provides slightly better photo quality, but it means larger

files that require more space on the memory card.

3. Burst shooting

Select the number of photos in the series, the number of

photos will then be taken when motion is recorded.

4. Video resolution

Select the desired video resolution. Higher resolutions take

higher quality videos, but result in larger files that require

more space on the memory card. Videos are recorded in AVI

format, which can be played back on most video devices.

5. Video length

Preset to 5 seconds, can be set to 3s - 10 minutes.

Set the duration of video recording when the camera starts

automatically.

- In SETUP mode

If you are recording a video manually, it will automatically

stop recording after 29 minutes, or if the video exceeds 4 GB

in size, or if the memory card becomes full.

- In ON mode

At night, the camera will work automatically according to

the video length setting. Recording will stop when the

battery is low.

6. Sound recording

Videos can be recorded with or without sound.

7. Recording interval

Preset for 1 minute, can be set from 5 seconds to 60

minutes. Select the amount of time the camera should wait

before taking a picture/recording of the object that

activated the PIR sensor. During the selected interval, the

camera does not record any photos or videos. This prevents

the memory card from filling up with unnecessary images.

8. Sensor sensitivity

High: For indoors and low disturbance environments.

Medium: For outdoor areas and environments with normal

interference.

Low: For environments with high levels of interference.

9. Target recording time

Press the "OK" button and then select "On" to set the start

and end time. Once the setup is complete, the photo trap

will only work at the set time each day. After this time, the

camera is in standby mode. For example, if the start time is

set to 18:35 and the end time is set to 8:25, the camera will

operate from 18:35 on the current day until 8:25 on the next

day. Outside this time, the photo trap will not start and will

not take any photos or videos.

10. Time-lapse recording

Press "OK", then select "On" to set the time interval and set

the values H, Min, Sec. For example, if the process of plant

development needs to be recorded, time-lapse mode can be

used. The camera automatically takes pictures at the set

time interval.

11. Language

Select the desired menu language. The following languages

are available: English, German, Czech, Polish, Slovak.

12. Overwrite files

If you select yes, the oldest uploaded records will be

overwritten by the new records if the card is full.

13. Time and date

Press "OK" and select Time and date setting: set the time

and date according to the current time.

Press the left/right button to change the value, press "OK" to

confirm the changes and move to the next number.

Time formats: 12h/24h

Date format: dd/mm/yyyy; mm/dd/yyyy

14. Photo stamp

Turn on/off the date and time information on the photo.

15. Password

After pressing On. button, the device will allow you to lock it

with a password. The password is a four-digit number

selected from 0-9. If you lose the password, press the

MENU and move the mode switch from OFF to SETUP. The

camera will unlock.

16. Acoustic signal

The audible signalling of button movements in the menu can

be switched on/off.

17. Formatting a memory card

Choose to format the memory card in the photo trap, we

recommend formatting the memory card in the computer

for the first time and then formatting it again in the photo

trap.

18. Serial number

Press the "OK" button and then select "On" to set the

camera serial number. You can use a combination of 4 digits.

When using multiple cameras, this

make it easier to identify the location when viewing photos.

19. Reset settings

Select to restore the camera to its default settings. Please

note that you need to reset the date and time.

20. Version

Select to check the current firmware version number of the

camera.

Remark:

In the playback mode of saved files, a long press of the

"MENU" button takes you to the settings where you can

delete a frame, erase all recordings, activate the diashow or

write-protect.

Setting the field of view of the

photo trap

The test mode (SETUP mode) is

suitable for determining the best

possible detection angle and range

of the motion sensor. To do this,

mount the camera at a height of

approximately 1-2 m to a tree and

set the camera in the desired

direction. Slowly move from one

side of the area to be monitored to

the other, moving parallel to the

camera. Try different angles and distances.

LED

The indicator LED on the front of the camera lights up to

indicate that you have been detected by the PIR sensor. This

way you can test and adjust whether the photo trap is

occupying the space you want. This mode is automatically

activated if you select SETUP mode for the photo trap.

Photo trap in ON mode

In this mode, photos and videos are taken either by the

motion sensor or at intervals according to the appropriate

settings. It takes approximately 5 seconds before the camera

automatically starts working and enters standby mode.

Night mode

During nighttime recording, infrared LEDs (940 nm) on the

front of the photo trap provide the light needed to capture

images. This allows night recording at distances of 3 to 20 m

without overexposing the subject. Objects with high

reflectivity can cause overexposure in this range (e.g. traffic

signs). This mode takes black and white images.

Connecting to a computer

The photo trap can be connected to a computer using the

included USB cable.
