operating

unit,

INSERTION

Before

inserting

the

cassette,

take

any

slack

the

tape

with

thick

pencil.

With

the

BM-560,

even

cassette

with

the

tabs

removed

can

recorded,

and

recordings

are

automatically

erased.

Set

the

POWER

switch

ON.

Set

the

VOR

selector

the

desired

position.

Set

SPEED

the

desired

tape

speed.

Set

the

function

DICT.

Recording

What’s

VOR

(voice

operated

recording)

system?

The

tape

moves

only

when

sound

picked

up,

and

the

tape

stops

automatically

when

sound

longer

detected.

Once

you

have

set

the

VOR

selector

HIGH

LOW,

you

can

record

with

the

VOR-

circuit,

without

the

need

for

setting

the

function

lever

STOP

during

periods

silence.

For

locating

instructions/documents

easily

electronic

index

signal

will

recorded

the

tape

using

the

LTR/SEC

switch

during

recording.

Use

the

SEC

position

when

giving

instructions,

and

the

LTR

position

the

end

each

document..

When

you

use

the

Sony

Microcassette

desk

tops

(optional),

the

tape

will

stop

automatically

each

recorded

index

signal

fast

forward,

backspace

rewind

mode

automatic

function.
