SUP’AIR EVOLUTION helmet chin guard assembly.
Fitting the ching uard takes time, care and patience. It’s a 10 minute job, not a 2 minute job!
1. Ear pads should be removed before fitting the chin-
guard :
Unfasten both poppers and slide the earpad sandwiched in
between the helmet shell and liner.
2. Next remove the self adhesive carbon-lookalike stickers
above the ear pad, on the outside of the helmet shell. They
will not be used again and can be discarted.
Removing the sticker reveals 2 mounting holes on each side of
the helmet.
3. Place a metal insert in each hole : the threaded insert
section is pushed through the hole between the shell and the
lining to properly position it. Do not push the insert all the way
through the hole; as it will be completely inserted following the
procedure found in section 5. At this point it is only pre-positio-
ned.
