- Do not try to sterilize the thermometer with heat or boiling water.
- Change the old baery and throw it away conveniently.
- Avoid any exposure of the thermometer at high temperature, dust, humidity, excessive light
and sunlight.
- During the measuring process the person will be sing or lying and the thermometer will
be hold by hand.
- The temperature must be measured by an adult.
- If the temperature is out of the range it will show “Lo” or “Hi” when it is below 32oC or over
42,9oC.
- If you need to measure the temperature again turn it o and follow the instrucons.
- Measurement ming can vary and somemes be longer because of room temperature con-
sidering colder rooms using air-condioning apparatus.
- In some people the oral measurement may take longer than 60 seconds, especially aer
eang or drinking cold beverage or any other factor that may delay the point of stabilizaon.
- The normal body temperature is between 36,1oC and 37,2oC. Normally our temperature is
lower during the day. In order to know your normal temperature measure the temperature
at night and in the morning during a few days.
- Always keep the device in a cool dry place.
- Always keep the device in its case to protect the probe and to avoid contaminaon.
Aenon: The temperature measured through the rectum can be up to 0,5oC higher than
the temperature measured orally and the temperature measured by armpit could be 0,5oC
higher than the oral temperature.
How to clean the thermometer
The thermometer probe can be cleaned with water and soap or a mixture of alcohol / propa-
ne (70%). Never deep the product in liquids and do not sterilize it. The contact with the liquids
at the electronic components will provoke a short circuit and damage the thermometer.
Changing the baery
Change the baery when the display shows this symbol . Use baery type LR41 or equi-
valent. To change the baery remove the baery cover from the thermometer and using a
small “philips” screwdriver remove the baery. Place a new baery with the posive (+) side
up. Put the screw back and the baery cover in its place again. It is advisable to change the
baery at a shop where the tools are adequate to avoid any damage to the product.
Warranty
1. This thermometer is guaranteed during 6 months from the date of purchase and this war-
ranty is eecve only by presenng the RECEIPT OF PURCHASE stang the buyer’s name, date
of purchase, name and address of the distributor.
2. The guarantee does not cover the baery, the cost of round-trip transport for repairs, the re-
sult of damage caused by improper use of thermometer, and other expenses not specied here.
3. The guarantee is valid only where this product is ocially commercialized.
4. During the guarantee the product will be repaired in 30 days from the date of arrival of the product.
5. This company reserves the right to replace the defecve thermometer by a new one if it
is necessary.
6. All repairs executed during the guarantee do not extend the deadline of the guarantee.
7. When the guarantee expires the necessary components and technical assistance will be
kept during 5 years in order to oer paid-services to users.
8. All services of maintenance and consumed components by improper use even during the
guarantee period will be charged.
9. This guarantee and technical assistance are restricted to the Brazilian territory.
10. This thermometer loses its guarantee by improper handling, direct exposure to sunlight or
to extreme temperatures or damages by dropping down, etc. The baery and the defects or
other damages caused by improper use are excluded from the guarantee.
11. If the thermometer is not funconing properly, rst verify the baery before contacng
the Customer Service Center.

Funcionamiento
1. Presione el botón para enchufar el termómetro.
2. La pantalla muestra la seguiente gura.
3. Seleccione el área para medir la temperatura.
4. El sonido del “bip” se escucha cuando el termómetro alcanza la temperatura máxima.
A. Uso Oral:
Coloque la extremidad del sensor de temperatura del termómetro
bajo la lengua en una área térmica, como muestra el diagrama, y deje
en esta posición por 60 segundos. La lectura en la pantalla connuará
a subir y el símbolo “ºC” intermitente durante el proceso de medici-
ón. Cuando angir el grado máximo de temperatura, el símbolo “ºC”
no es más intermitente. Después de terminada la medición registre la
temperatura y luego desenchufe el termómetro presionando el botón.
Atención: Durante la medición de temperatura es importante mantener la boca cerrada para
evitar cualquier inuencia de la temperatura del medio ambiente.
B. Ulización Axilar:
Coloque la punta del sensor de temperatura debajo del brazo (axila) para contactar directa-
mente la piel. Mantenga el termómetro en una posición paralela al cuerpo del paciente con el
brazo plegado sobre el pecho (eso hace con que el sensor de temperatura esté bien cubierto
y protegido contra la inuencia de la temperatura del ambiente).
C. Ulización rectal:
Este po de medición solamente debe ser ulizado cuando el proceso oral o el axilar no es conve-
niente. No es recomendada la ulización de este procedimiento en los niños. Introduzca la extre-
midad del sensor de la temperatura en el recto, no más que 1 cenmetro. Mantenga esta posición
por 60 segundos y después seguir con los mismos procedimientos usados para el uso oral.
Precauciones, cuidado especial y dudas sobre el riesgo posible al usar el producto y también
cuidados especiales con el almacenaje y el transporte.
- No intente esterilizar el termómetro con calor o agua hirviendo.
- Cuando cambiar la batería no echarla en la basura regular.
- No almacenar el termómetro en altas temperaturas, polvo, humedad excesiva y luz directa del sol.
- Durante el proceso de medición la persona debe sostener el termómetro con una mano y
mantenerse sentada o acostada.
- La temperatura debe ser medida por un adulto.
- Si la temperatura está fuera de los límites del termómetro la pantalla mostrará “Lo” o “Hi”
cuando inferior a 32ºC o superior a 42,9ºC.
- Para ulizarlo connuamente apague el termómetro antes de usar otra vez. Siga las instrucciones.
- El empo de medición puede variar y a veces ser más largo debido a la temperatura ambien-
te considerando habitaciones más frías ulizando un aparato de aire acondicionado.
- Para algunas personas la manera oral puede tardar más de 60 segundos, especialmente
cuando la persona consume alimento o bebida fría, o cualquier otro factor que provoque el
retraso del punto de la estabilización de la temperatura.
- La temperatura normal del cuerpo es entre 36,1ºC y 37,2ºC. En general la temperatura és
más baja durante el día que en la noche. Para conocer su temperatura normal, mídala durante
algunos días en la noche y por la mañana.
- Mantener el producto en lugar fresco y seco.
- Siempre transportar y mantener el termómetro en su estuche para proteger el sensor y
evitar la contaminación.
Atención: La temperatura medida a través del recto puede ser hasta 0,5ºC superior a la tem-
peratura medida por vía oral y la temperatura medida por la axila puede ser 0,5ºC superior a
la temperatura vía oral.
Como limpiar el termómetro
Limpiar el sensor del termómetro con agua y jabón o una mezcla de alcohol/propano (el 70%).
Nunca dejar el producto en líquidos y autoclave. El contacto de los líquidos con los componen-
tes electrónicos puede provocar un cortocircuito y dañar el termómetro.
Cambiando la batería
Cambiar la batería del termómetro cuando aparecer este símbolo en la pantalla . Ulizar
batería po LR41 o equivalente. Para cambiar la batería, sacar la tapa de la batería del ter-
mómetro y ulizando un pequeño destornillador “phillips” sacar la batería. Colocar la batería
nueva con la parte posiva (+) hacia arriba. Recolocar el tornillo y la tapa de la batería en su
comparmiento. Aconsejamos efectuar el cambio de la batería en enda especializada para
no dañar el producto con herramienta inadecuada.
Garana
1. Este producto ene 06 meses de garana desde la fecha de adquisición y la garana es
válida solamente con la PRESENTACIÓN DEL DOCUMENTO DE COMPRA (quete de caja o
factura) indicando el comprador, la fecha de adquisición y el establecimiento comercial que
vendió el aparato; siempre que solicitado servicio de garana el comprador ene que pre-
sentar el cupón scal.
2. La garana no cubre desgaste de batería, gastos con envio y retorno del aparato para ar-
reglarlo, actos o eventos causados por uso inadecuado del termómetro y otros gastos aquí
no especicados.
3. La garana es válida solamente donde el aparato es ocialmente comercializado.
4. El producto será arreglado durante la garana, en 30 días desde la fecha de llegada del
aparato para hacer los reparos.
5. Nuestra compañía reemplazará el producto defectuoso por otro nuevo, cuando lo crea necesario.
6. Todos lo reparos hechos durante el período de garana no prorrogan el plazo de garana.
7. Después del plazo de garana nuestra compañía mantendrá repuestos y asistencia técnica
por 5 años para realizar los reparos pagos por el comprador.
8. Todo servicio de mantenimiento y desgaste de las partes por uso inadecuado, durante la
garana, será percepble.
9. Esta garana y asistencia técnica se limitan al territorio nacional (Brasil).
10. El termómetro pierde la garana cuando usado inadecuadamente bajo el sol, o altas tem-
peraturas. La batería, los defectos o daños causados por mal uso o abuso están excluidos de
esta garana.
11. Si el termómetro ene alguna avaría o no funciona adecuadamente, hay que vericar la
batería antes de mandar arreglar.
