Tecnogas CD-34 Bedienungsanleitung
This instruction manual contains important information for the proper installation
and use of gas detector for methane. Read the manual carefully before installation
and keep it for future issues.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Avoid to install gas detector in the position in which its normal operation could
be compromised:
- directly over the cooking stoves;
- in an area where the temperature may drop below -10°C or exceed + 40°C;
- directly above a sink;
- in an enclosed space (e.g. in a cupboard or behind a curtain);
- next to a door or window;
- next to an extractor fan;
- where dirt and dust may block the sensor;
- in a damp or humid location.
Do not use the following substances near to the device:
- solvents and diluents;
- alcohol, fuels;
- silicones products and colors;
- perfumes;
- cleaning detergents;
- spray products.
WARNING:
-Installation and wiring of gas detector must be made by qualified technician
with compliance with the current standards.
-Before wiring this gas detector turn mains power off.
-To ensure correct operation periodic functional check is advisable. In order to
check the proper efficiency of the device sensor a specific test gas bottle must
be used (code Tecnogas 553445). Any other method for testing, such as the use
of cigarette lighters or flammable substances can lead to wrong conclusions
and damage the sensor.
WARNING in case of alarm:
-Extinguish all fire sources.
-Stop gas supply by closing main gas valve.
-Do not turn on or off any electrical devices.
-Open doors and windows to increase ventilation.
When alarm stops it is necessary to find gas leaking cause. If alarm persists and
the leak can not be found, vacate the premise and immediately inform the gas
emergency service.
In the view of a constant development of their products, the
manufacturer reserves the right for changing technical data and features
without prior notice.
The consumer is guaranteed against any lack of conformity according to the
European Directive 1999/44/EC as well as to the manufacturer’s document
about the warranty policy.
INSTALLATION:
Install the unit in a controlled area on a carrier or directly on the wall.
To install the gas detector:
- Use the mounting holes and through 2 mounting screws and dowels secure unit.
- Open the plastic housing of the appliance by pressing the pin in the bottom of the
vessel and the subsequent lifting of the lid.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS:
Choosing the type of electromagnetic valve
CD34 can command either normally open or normally closed valve. You can
change the working mode with moving the jumper switch.
-To set Normally closed valve place the jumper to NC-C
-To set Normally open valve place jumper to C-NO

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Choosing the mounting place
It depends from the relative weight of the detected gas. For LPG detection
must be mounted within 30cm from the ceiling.

CAUTION:
This gas detector indicates the presence of gas to the sensor, but gas can be found
in other areas where it can not be detected. This gas detector is used to detect gas
regardless of the source of the issue. It is not suitable to detect smoke, fire or other
gases. Gas detectors intended for use only in closed spaces. Do not use outdoors.

installazione e utilizzo dei rivelatori per gas metano. Leggere il foglio
attentamente prima dell'installazione e conservarlo in caso di necessità future.

SPECIFICHE TECNICHE:
Vietato installare il sensore in posizioni che possono compromettere il suo
regolare funzionamento:
- direttamente sopra i fuochi della cucina
- in un'area dove la temperatura può scendere sotto i -10°C o andare oltre i
40°C
- sopra il lavello
- in uno spazio chiuso ( es. in una credenza o dietro una tenda)
- vicino ad una porta o ad una finestra
- vicino ad un ventilatore
- in luoghi polverosi
- in posti umidi
Non usare le seguenti sostanze vicino al dispositivo:
- solventi e diluenti
- alcool e combustibili
- vernici e prodotti a base di silicone
- profumi
- detergenti
- spray
AVVERTENZE
L'installazione del rivelatore deve essere fatta da persone qualificate. Prima del
collegamento elettrico assicurarsi di aver tolto la corrente. È consigliabile
effettuare un controllo periodico del corretto funzionamento usando specifico gas
tester (cod. Tecnogas 553445). Ogni altro sistema di controllo es. utilizzando un
accendino, può danneggiare irreparabilmente il sensore.
Questo rivelatore indica la presenza di gas al sensore, ma il gas si potrebbe trovare
in altre aree dove non può essere rilevato. Questo rivelatore è utilizzato per
rilevare gas indipendentemente dalla fonte del problema. Non è indicato per la
rilevazione di fumo, incendio o altri gas. Deve essere utilizzato solamente in
ambienti chiusi, non all'aperto.
PRECAUZIONI IN CASO DI ALLARME
- Spegnere tutte le fonti di incendio.
- Chiudere il tubo principale del gas
- Non accendere nessun dispositivo elettrico
- Aprire porte e finestre.
Quando l'allarme cessa è necessario verificare la causa della perdita. Se
l'allarme continua e se la perdita non viene individuata evacuare l'immobile e
informare immediatamente le autorità.
Il costruttore può variare i dati tecnici del rivelatore senza preavviso.

INSTALLAZIONE:
Installare il dispositivo direttamente a muro: aprire il coperchio come indicato
in figura e fissare la base a muro tramite gli appositi fori e viti in dotazione.
COLLEGAMENTI ELETTRICI :
Scelta dell'elettrovalvola
Il rivelatore CD 34 può comandare un'elettrovalvola normalmente chiusa o aperta
cambiando la posizione dell'interruttore sotto indicato.
- per normalmente chiusa posizionare su NC-C
- per normalmente aperta posizione su C-NO

ISTRUZIONI D'USO
Scelta di posizionamento del sensore
Dipende dal peso relativo del gas che si vuole rilevare. Per il gas GPL il rivelatore
CD 34 deve essere installato a 30 cm dal pavimento.
