Safe Use Instruction

This product performance is excellent and reliable in the designed range of use,

but it’s necessary to avoid man-made damage or destroy for the

equipment.

1. Product Introduction

1.1. Brief introduction

The TELE2206G-2GF which developed and produced by Wuhan Maiwe is

a high performance industrial Ethernet switch with 6 gigabit Ethernet ports.It

includes 2x1000Base-X SFP fiber ports and 4x 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45

ports.

The TELE2206G-2GF is an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch with

35mm din-rail mounting. It can stably work in various hard industrial

environments.

1.2. Features

High performance Ethernet switch interfaces

The 10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T adaptive port (full/half duplex),

automatic MDI/MDI-X connection.

Support 2x1000Base-X SFP fiber ports with SFP fiber modular.

Industrial grade power supply design

Provide different power supply applications to be chosen:

a,Wide range DC power supply:DC12~48V (redundant dual power input

supported)

b,Wide range DC/AC power supply:DC110~370V and

AC85V~265V(only single power input)

3. Installation and Testing

3.1. Casing configuration

The TELE2206G-2GF uses Din rail mount installation. Whole machine

with six sides fully enclosed structure.

3.2. Front panel

The TELE2206G-2GF offers total 6 Ethernet ports on the front panel.

3.3. LED indicator lights

The LED indicator on the front panel can show the status of the system

and port operation, easy to find and solve problems. The below table shows

the LED indicator lights functions:

Each RJ45 port has two LED indicator lights, the yellow LED indicates

the baud rate, the green LED indicates the port connection status.

3.4. Power supply

The TELE2206G-2GF has a 6-ways terminal block on the top panel for the

power supply input as below.

The DC power model switch supports DC12~48V power supply, and

supports redundant dual power input (V1 and V2).

The DC/AC power model switch supports DC110~370V and AC85~265V

power supply, only single power input (V1).

When use AC power supply, connect the Fire line L to V1+, connect the

Zero line N to V1-,DO NOT CONNECT TO V2+ AND V2-.And pay attention to

safety.

Power fault alarm relay:

The TELE2206G-2GF supports the power fault alarm relay function on the

terminal block (the 2 blocks in middle).

When the power supply is correct, the relay keeps open. When the power

supply fault, the relay changes to closed state.

3.5. Fiber connection

This product has two full-duplex 1000Base-LX single mode / multimode

fiber interface, the port number for the G1 and G2, using hot-swappable SFP

during the optical interface using LC connectors. Optical interface to be used in

pairs (TX and RX as a pair), TX mouth to light the originator, the remote switch

connected to another optical interface of the light receiving end RX; RX ports

for the light receiving end, to connect with a remote switch with an optical

interface light originator TX. The use of two redundant 1000Base-LX optical

interface fiber optic redundant ring network can be formed in the system failure

redundant ring switching time less than 20ms, can effectively improve network

reliability.

Hot-plug procedure:

1. SFP during the observation of a finger end of the PCB.

2. the finger end into the SFP metal shielding cage, hear a click sound

indicates that the device has been inserted in place, then the SFP plug handle,

into the interface parallel to the normal position, you can use.

time the device should be shielded with SPF cage mount hook disengaged.
