SAFETY FEATURES
Tip-Up Safety Switch:
The Tip-Up switch is designed to switch the heater off in the
event that it is lifted or falls over. If the heater is placed on a very
indented surface or on a carpet with exceptionally long, soft pile
the safety switch may prevent the heater from turning on.
Should this happen replace the heater on a firmer, smoother,
surface.
Overheat protection:
In the event that the fan heater overheats (for example if the air
flow is blocked), the power to the heating elements will be
disrupted but the fan will continue to work. If this happens, switch
the fan heater off and unplug it from the main. Allow the unit to
cool for 10 minutes and then remove any obstructions to the
airflow. If there is no visible sign of damage, you may re-connect
the fan heater to the mains and check that it operates correctly.
$Use a barely damp cloth to clean the surface of the
appliance
DO NOT use abrasive chemicals steel wool, scouring or
abrasive pads on any part of the heater.
Make sure no liquids penetrate the heater casing.
$Dry the appliance before re-use or storage.
Storage
$Store the heater safely out of direct sunlight and out of the
reach of children.
AFTER USING THE HEATER
Before you turn off the appliance:
$Turn the heat select switch to the “ ” position. Operate
the appliance for 5 minutes to lower the internal
temperature and then turn the heat select switch to “O”. Class II construction double insulated.
$Switch off the unit at the power outlet and unplug. This product must not be connected to earth.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Clean the air inlet and air outlet of the appliance
thoroughly at least twice a year.
Before you clean the appliance:
$Turn the heat select switch to the “ ” position. Operate
the appliance for 5 minutes to lower the internal
temperature and then turn the heat select switch to “O”.
$Switch the appliance off at the mains and unplug it. Wait
until the appliance thoroughly cools down.
WARRANTY
Your appliance is covered by a warranty for 12 months from the
date of purchase. If a fault develops during this period, please
return the unit to your nearest Tesco store together with the
original receipt as proof of purchase. This warranty in no way
affects your consumer rights.
