GeneralOperation

•Donotmodifytheplatformoruseiton

non–approvedmachines.

•Ensurethattheplatformisproperlyattachedtothe

machineandisingoodworkingorderpriortouse.

•Allowonlythemachineoperatorontheplatform.

•Donotallowuseoftheplatformbyuntrained

operators.

•Useappropriatepersonalprotectiveapparatusfor

eyes,feet,hands,andhead.

•Lookbehindanddownbeforebackinguptobe

sureofaclearpath.

•Useextracarewhenoperatinginreverse.

•Dismountandlatchtheplatforminthetransport

positionwhenloadingandunloadingthemachine.

•Donotplaceyourfeetundertheplatform.

•Slowdownbeforeturning.Sharpturnsonany

terrainmaycauselossofcontrol.

•Donotstepoffoftheplatformwiththeloadraised.

•Keepyourhands,feet,hair,andlooseclothing

awayfromanymovingparts.

•Donottrytostabilizethetractionunitbyputting

yourfootontheground.

•Donotoperateplatformonroughanduneven

terrain.

•Ensurethatyouoperatetheplatforminareas

wheretherearenoobstaclesincloseproximity

totheoperator.Failuretomaintainadequate

distancefromtrees,walls,andotherbarriersmay

resultininjuryastheplatformbacksuporturns

duringoperationiftheoperatorisnotattentiveto

thesurroundings.Onlyoperatetheunitinareas

wherethereissufcientclearancefortheoperator

tosafelymaneuvertheplatform.

•Ensurethattheareaisclearofotherpeoplebefore

operatingthetractionunitwiththeplatform.Stop

thetractionunitifanyoneentersthearea.

•Donotexceedtheratedoperatingcapacity,as

thetractionunitwiththeplatformmaybecome

unstablewhichmayresultinlossofcontrol.

Service

•Stoptheenginebeforeperforminganyservice,

repairs,maintenance,oradjustments

•Keepnutsandboltstight.Keepequipmentclean

andingoodcondition.

•Nevertamperwithsafetydevices.Checksafety

systemsforproperoperationbeforeeachuse.

•Stopandinspecttheequipmentifyoustrike

anobject.Makeanynecessaryrepairsbefore

restarting.

•Useonlygenuinereplacementpartstoensurethat

originalstandardsaremaintained.

theirfastenersfromtherearofthetractionunit

andstoretheminasafelocation(Figure1).

injuringyourand/orpinningbystanders.

Donotstepoffoftheplatformwiththeload

raised.

Unlessyouarecarryingheavyloadsor

attachments,theplatformwithanoperator

willmaketherearofthemachinetheheavy

end.

Alwayskeeptheheavyendofthemachine

uphillwhenoperatingonslopes.

WARNING

Youcouldfalloffoftheplatformandbe

seriouslyinjuredduringoperation.

Donotmovethecontrolsunlessyouare

standingwithbothfeetontheplatformand

yourhandsareholdingthehandles.

Folding/Unfoldingthe

Platform

Tofoldtheplatform,liftuponthebackofitandswing

ittowardsthetractionunit(Figure10).Whenthelatch

contactsthemountingplate,theplatformwillslide

downintothetubeandwilllockinplace.

Maintenance

Greaseallpivotjointsevery8operatinghoursand

immediatelyaftereverywashing.

1.Lowertheloaderarmsandstoptheengine.

Removethekey.

2.Cleanthegreasettingswitharag.

3.Connectagreaseguntoeachtting(Figure12).
