This Carton contains the DWK fuel bed which is suitable for use with the

following electric fire models LEX2, LEX3 and LEX4.

Note: These fuel bed components must not be used in a gas appliance

The illustrations below show suggest fuel bed layouts for your LEX electric fire. These illustrations are for

guidance; you may wish to arrange your fuel bed components to suite your individual taste.

Before you lay the logs provided in this carton, ensure you have first installed the

Glass Embers and Vermiculite provided with the appliance. Spread the Glass

Embers evenly over the fuel bed filter, then sprinkle the Vermiculite into the

gaps between the Glass Embers. Be careful when handling the glass

embers as they may have sharp edges. Wear gloves if necessary.

•When installing the logs, turn the fireplace’s lights on to help placing

them in the best position to highlight their details.

•Once the logs are installed, use a bit of putty (included) to prevent a

cross log from sliding off the bottom log it sits on.

Ce carton contient le lit de combustion DWK qui convient pour une utilisation avec les

foyers électriques LEX2, LEX3 et LEX4 suivants.

Note : Ces éléments du lit de combustion ne doivent pas être utilisés dans un appareil à

gaz.

Les illustrations suivantes montrent des dispositions suggérées du lit de combustion pour votre foyer électrique LEX2,

LEX3 ou LEX4. Ces illustrations sont à titre indicatif. Vous pouvez placer les éléments du lit de combustion selon vos

goûts individuels.

Avant de placer les bûches fournies dans ce carton, assurez-vous d’avoir d’abord placé les

braises de verre et la vermiculite fournies avec l’appareil. Répandez uniformément les

braises de verre sur le filtre du lit de combustion. Saupoudrer ensuite la vermiculite dans

les interstices entre les braises de verre. Faites attention lorsque vous manipulez les

braises de verre car elles peuvent avoir des bords coupants. Portez des gants si

nécessaire.

•Lorsque vous installez les bûches, allumez l’éclairage du foyer pour vous aider à

les placer d’une manière qui présente le mieux leurs détails.

•Une fois les bûches installées, utilisez un peu de mastic (inclus) pour

retenir les bûches qui seraient placées sur d’autres bûches afin d’empêcher

qu’elles ne glissent.
