reminder/notificationpurpose.

includingphoneprofile,volume,

info.
3.1 NotesbeforeUse
1. Whenthephoneispoweredonforuse
thefirsttime,you’llbepromptedto
selectitsdisplaylanguage.
2. You’llbeaskedtoenteraPINcodeifit
comeswithyourSIMcard.PINcode
verificationisonlyrequiredatthefirst
time,andnofurtherpromptsat
power‐onwillbeneededonceit’s
beenverified.
Note:YouwillbepromptedforPIN
codeverificationatpower‐onifthe
SIMcardhasbeenchanged.Inthis
case,thephonewillthenonlyallow2
morePINcodechanges.Becareful
withwhatyou’reenteringtoavoid
losingyourchanceofcorrectPINcode
entry.

1. Toaddoreditaphotocontact,you
havetofirstlogintoVOIISserver
(www.voiis.com),editthecontact’s
name/phonenumber/photothere,
andimportallthecontact
informationbacktothephone(upto
30photocontacts)fromyour
computer,inorderforcontact
informationtobeshownonthe
phone.(See3.8formoredetails
abouthowtologintoserver)
2. Tomakeaquick‐dialcall,youcan
presstheup(︿)anddown(﹀)
arrowkeysonthemainscreento
scrollthroughthephotoslisted,and
selectacontactmakeaquickcall.

one,andpress[View]>[Ringtone]to
furtherchoosearingtoneforthe
selectedcontact.
2. Apersonalizedvocalringtonecanbe
addedtotheringtone(e.g.the
contact’snameornickname)forbetter
identificationwhenreceivingthecall.
Todoso,press[Menu]>[Contacts],
scrollthroughcontactswiththeup(︿)
anddown(﹀)arrowkeystoselect
one,andpress[View]>[Vocal
ringtone]toproceedwithrecording.

Alarmallowsyoutosetup1wake‐up
alarmand3additionalalarms(Alarm
1‐3)forgeneralpurposes.

[Wake‐upalarm].

3.5 RemotePick‐up
Incaseofemergency,anyofthe
emergencycontactscansendoutatext
messageincludingonlyPICKUP(capitalized
ornot)tothephone,totemporarily
enabletheRemotePick‐upfunctiononthe
phone.Within30minutesafterthe
messageisreceivedbythephone,the
emergencycontactpersoncanmakeacall
tothephone,anditwillbepickedup
remotely,inorderforthecallertoget
someideaaboutwhatmightbegoingon
aroundthephoneuser.

3.6 PositionQuery
