WAREMA climatronic®Tableau Interface
1 Characteristics
The WAREMA climatronic®Tableau Interface enables the connection of ad-
ditional switches and push buttons to a WAREMA climatronic®system. It can
be used to implement control panels for operating the equipment connected
to the climatronic®.
Each connected switch/push button can be freely assigned to channels,
groups and scenes. The assignment can be conveniently configured using
PC software.
The Tableau InterfaceM makes 48 inputs available. By connecting a maxi-
mum of 4 Tableau InterfaceS expansion modules, it can be expanded to 144
inputs.
The Tableau Interfaces can be mutually connected via a separate slave bus
(RS485).
The modular structure makes it possible to split the panel into several sec-
tions that merely need to be mutually connected via the 4-wire slave bus line.
Each Tableau InterfaceS can be separately addressed in the bus via an ad-
dress that is adjustable on the device.

Ideally, the Tableau InterfaceM is supplied via a separate power supply unit.
The power supply of the additionally connected Tableau InterfacesS is pro-
vided via the slave bus connection of the Tableau InterfaceM.
The inputs are queried intermittently and short response times are realis-
able. The data made available in Tableau InterfaceM are read in by the
climatronic®control panel in blocks via the climabus:
The Tableau Interfaces cyclically query the inputs every 100 ms.
The climatronic®control panel reads out the information every 200 ms.

WAREMA climatronic®Tableau Interface
The following pictograms and symbols may be affixed to the control unit itself
or to the connected devices, alerting you to potential sources of danger:
WARNING
Warning against dangerous electrical voltage!
CAUTION
Component damage due to electrostatic discharge!
CAUTION
Only for connecting a protective earth conductor (PE).
CAUTION
Only for connecting a shield conductor.
NOTE The term NOTE marks important notes and helpful tips.
Example The term Example marks an example.
The square marks an instruction or a prompt for action. Perform this step.
The triangle marks an event or the result of a preceding action.
The black triangle is the bullet point for lists or selections.
2.2 Intended use
The WAREMA climatronic®Tableau Interface is used to connect switches and
push buttons. The input data are read in by the WAREMA climatronic®via the
climabus. The device is designed for interior installation. The approval of the
manufacturer must be obtained for uses outside of the purposes listed here.
WARNING
The consequences of unintended use may include personal injuries of the
operator or of third parties as well as property damages to the unit itself,
connected devices or moveable mechanical parts of the entire system.
Therefore use our product only as intended.
2.3 Targeted reader group
This instructions address persons mounting, wiring or connecting the
Tableau Interface and all necessary parts. Please contact your specialist
dealer if you need additional information.
WARNING
Mounting, connection, commissioning or operation by insufficiently
qualified and knowledgeable persons may cause serious damage to the
system or even personal injuries!

WAREMA climatronic®Tableau Interface
Mounting and commissioning may therefore only be performed by properly
trained qualified technicians. These technicians must be able to recognize
sources of danger that may be caused by the mechanical, electrical or elec-
tronic equipment!
Persons mounting or connecting the device must know and have understood
the content of these instructions.
2.4 Retrofitting and
modifications
We designed and built the device with reliability and safety in mind. All re-
quired settings are made at initial commissioning. Modifications to the sys-
tem parameters are therefore only required when the characteristics of the
system need to be adjusted, changes are made to the sensor equipment or
the device itself is replaced.
WARNING
Retrofitting and modifications may impair the safety of the system or
reduce its effectiveness! Possible consequences may include death,
serious or light injuries, property damage or environmental damage.
Therefore, contact us before retrofitting or modifying the system, or before
changing system parameters, if you cannot find any information on the cor-
responding topic in the Tableau Interface documentation. This is the only way
to ensure trouble-free retrofitting/modification.
Contact our hotline or your specialist dealer if you are not sure - we will be
glad to assist you.

2.5 Mounting, connection
and repairs
DANGER
Danger to life through electrical voltage!
Connecting, maintenance or repair work on the electrical parts of the entire
system must only be performed when power to the system has been cut off,
unless otherwise described. The system must thereby be sufficiently secured
against unauthorised and inadvertent reactivation.
If measuring or testing activities need to be carried out on the active unit, ex-
isting safety and accident prevention regulations must be observed under all
circumstances.
Make sure to always use suitable electrical tools.
WARNING
States of danger, malfunctions and property damage to the unit may
be arise from improperly executed mounting, connection, repair or
maintenance work!
Such work may only be carried out by the service department or by author-
ised qualified specialists.
Only use such spare/replacement parts for maintenance or repair work that
have been approved by the manufacturer of the system.
Dangerous situations, malfunctions and property damage to the system may
arise when connections are cut during operation! All connections are re-
quired for proper operation of the device.
Therefore, switch off the entire system before attaching or detaching connect-
ing lines.
