Wall Mounting (optional)
Two slots on the bottom of the switch allow you to mount it to the wall using two
screws (not included). The distance between the slots is 5 inches (127 mm).
Suggested mounting screw size:
The length and type of thread should be appropriate for the type of wall used for
mounting. Please consult your local hardware store for appropriate screw type.
Note: WD is not responsible for damages incurred by insecure wall-mounting hardware and surface.
Follow these instructions:
1. Determine where you want to mount the switch. Make sure that the wall is
smooth, flat, dry, and sturdy. Also make sure that the location is within reach of
an electrical outlet.
2. Drill two holes into the wall. Make sure the holes are 5 inches (127 mm) apart.
3. Insert a screw into each hole. Do not screw all the way in, leaving 0.12 inches (3
mm) exposed.
4. Maneuver the switch so the wall-mount slots line up with the two screws.
5. Place the wall-mount slots over the screws and slide the switch down until the
screws fit snugly into the wall mount slots.
