Loading your

Washer _-f‘

For best washing results and

energy savings, sort the laundry

carefully.

1. Sort the laundry into loads.

Group the laundry into loads that

can be washed and dried together.

See the Laundry Guide for Informa-

tion and samples of typical loads.

Try to mix large and small items for

best movement in the washer.

2. Measure Detergent; Add to

Washer Basket.

See detergent information on page

6 and in Section IV of the Laundry

Guide.

Add dry bleach or water condl-

tioner (not fabric softener) if used.

Follow the package directions

carefully.

3. load the Washer.

Spread the

loaa evenly (Don’t put

all the towels on one side and a few

wash cloths on the other) An unbal-

anced load can cause the washerto

shake during spinning

Load without packing so Items can

move freely for best cleaning and

least wrinkling.

4. Pour Liquid Bleach into the

Dispenser.

9 See page 5 and the Laundry

Aids” sectlon of the Laundry Guide

for more informatlon.

5. Add Diluted Fabric Softener only

to the Deep Rinse Cycle.

DO NOT ADD FABRIC SOFTENER TO

THE WASH. Fabric softeners can com-

bine with soap or detergent to make

greasy stains on fabrics

Using the

Suds-Miser”

System

If your wasner has :t Ne

SUDSMISER System, +thas two drain

hoses One hose drains wash water Into

the storage tub, the other carries rinse

water to the drain

The storage tub should hold at

least 20 gallons (76 Ilters; If you do not

want to re-use wash water leave the

stopper out of the storage tub so the

water dra+ns away.

The basket In your super capac-

Ity washer holds more than 20 gallons

(74 Ilters) when the

LOAD SIZE SELEC-

TOR ISset on EX LARGE Because so

many storage tubs hold only 20 gal-

lons, your washer ISdeslgned to save

most of the wash water and pump the

rest down the drain

If you have a storage tub big

enough to hold about 25 gallons

(95 liters), you can have a qualified

installer convert your washer to

save all the wash water.

To Save Wash Water

Be sure the stopper ISIn the

storage iub The SUDS-MISER system
