SURFACE BURNERS
A spark electrode i nites each
surface burner. This control
eliminates the need for contin-
uous open flame pilots. For
added safety and convenience,
each burner is desi ned with an
electronic re-i nition system.
This feature enables any burner
to automatically re-li ht in the
event it is accidentally extin-
uished.
In case of a power outa e, the
surface burners can be re-lit
manually, see pa e 12.
WOLF TOP SURFACE OPERATION
DUAL-STACKED
BURNER ASSEMBLY
The unique dual-stacked burner
desi n combines all the burner
parts in one assembly piece.
Lar e burners provide a Btu/hr
ratin of 15,000 on HIGH.
Small burners provide a Btu/hr
ratin of 9200 on HIGH. All
burners have simmer settin s.
A distin uishin feature of
Wolf's low Btu/hr control is its
constant, low heat output
without continuous i nitions.
Flame diameter remains full
size; only the heat output is
lowered.
The Simmer ives you ultimate
control for preparin your
food.
After cleanin or removin
burner parts for any reason, it
is extremely important that you
reassemble burners correctly.
The burner cap has a special
orientation and should be
seated flatly. Match notches on
the burner cap to ali n with the
tabs on bottom of burner.
This patented dual-stacked
burner confi uration makes it
possible to enjoy cookin at full
flame as well as maintainin
control while simmerin at the
lowest flame settin .
BEFORE USING FOR
THE FIRST TIME
Clean your ran e thorou hly
with hot water and a mild
deter ent. Rinse and dry with a
soft cloth. This removes any
residual oil and rease left on
the surface from the manufac-
turin process.
•Refer to Top Surface Care on
pa e 14.
•Check that the burner caps
are positioned correctly.
•Griddles and French Tops
need to o throu h a "burn in"
to clean oils from the bottom
of these assemblies. See pa es
18-21 for cleanin directions.
