EVALUATE PRODUCTIVITY AND VALUE

Does the combination of entry level price and performance allow you to consolidate devices and

simplify your technology? Will the image quality meet your day-to-day printing, copying, scanning

and faxing needs? Does the MFP include media support you need to run your business? Will the MFP

pack the overall performance, as well as printing, copying, scanning and faxing features you need to

increase your productivity?

REPLACE AND CONSOLIDATE STANDALONE DEVICES

Color laser MFPs like the Phaser 6110MFP help small, space constrained offices streamline

multiple single function devices into a single multifunction unit. To help you realize a gain in

productivity and efficiency, the Phaser 6110MFP delivers the performance and features small

business need to be able to justify replacing their standalone printers, scanners and fax machines

while adding color copying capabilities.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Entry-level color laser MFPs must excel in a few key areas to successfully meet the needs of small

business/small office environments. The MFP must be able to support the day-to-day operations of the

office, meaning that despite the affordable purchase price the MFP must feature performance to support

one to five busy professionals and replace multiple stand-alone devices. The MFP must deliver this in a

small package – to comfortably fit in your office without requiring extra space. The MFP also has to be

user friendly and easy to use – most small businesses do not have IT resources at their disposal, meaning

employees must be able to keep the MFP running without becoming technical experts.

This section of the Evaluator Guide will look at each of these areas, and suggest ways you can evaluate

MFPs against these requirements. Do this for all the color MFPs you are considering and you’ll see

how the Phaser 6110MFP exceeds expectations on all counts.

HOW THE PHASER 6110MFP EXCEEDS THE VALUE REQUIREMENT:

EVALUATE CONVENIENCE

Once you’ve found an MFP that can support your performance requirements, you need to ensure it is

simple and easy to use. It is also important that it is a good fit in your environment. In addition to

advanced features, does the MFP feature design touches for small business environments? Does the MFP

include connectivity options to support individual or shared environments?

EASY TO USE

The Phaser 6110MFP front panel is clearly organized, with centralized two-line display and buttons

for selecting among copy, scan/email, and fax modes (on fax-enabled configurations). Separate

“start” buttons for color and black-and-white modes ensure you copy, scan or fax in the mode you

intended, without having to navigate within menus to change the color or black-and-white setting.

Buttons for lighten/darken, original type, and reduce/enlarge make these commonly used copy

features easily accessible. Fax-enabled configurations include speed dial buttons for easy access

to up to 30 speed dial settings, and buttons for resolution and redial/pause settings as well as access

to the fax address book.

Further, the Phaser 6110MFP uses print drivers that are intuitive and make the most commonly

used features easily accessible – making it easy for employees to learn and use on a daily basis.

Xerox Status Monitor software proactively alerts you when your print job is complete or when your

print job has been interrupted, and links to the troubleshooting guide to help you resolve issues.
