La re i tenza invece viene attivata per integrazione quando in ri caldamento la
temperatura ambiente è inferiore alla temperatura di etpoint di ∆ etpoint
configurabile nel parametro C18.
Nel modo raffre camento i può avere una regolazione con zona neutra impo tando
l’ampiezza della zona neutra u P19 maggiore di zero, il que to ca o il raffre camento
i ottiene attivando la valvola mentre il ri caldamento attivando la re i tenza.
In que to tipo di impianto è con igliabile impo tare un ritardo allo pegnimento del
ventilatore u P21 in modo tale che allo pegnimento della re i tenza il ventilatore
continui a girare per maltirne il calore.
Nel ca o in cui, in que to tipo di impianto i u i anche la funzione “termo tato di
minima” in ri caldamento, il ventilatore non arà mai interdetto qualora l’acqua di
mandata non ia ufficientemente calda in quanto verrà anticipata l’accen ione
della re i tenza elettrica.

SISTEMA POMPA DI CALORE
Il termo tato può e ere configurato per ge tire un impianto pompa di calore (P01=4)
e quindi pilotare la valvola di inver ione ull’u cita della valvola caldo e il compre ore
ull’u cita della valvola freddo.
L’u cita della valvola di inver ione arà empre acce a o empre penta a econda
e il temo tato è impo tato in ri caldamento o in raffre camento. Nel modo
ri caldamento la valvola di inver ione viene alimentata mentre rimane penta in
raffre camento (tipo EUROPA). In alternativa e i collega la valvola ull’u cita al
mor etto 8, la logica di pilotaggio è invertita: in raffre camento viene alimentata
mentre rimane penta in ri caldamento (tipo USA).
L’u cita del compre ore arà attivata quando è nece ario po tare calore, cioè
quando l’ambiente ha bi ogno di e ere ri caldato o raffreddato. E’ con igliabile
impo tare una temporizzazione dell’u cita compre ore ul parametro C09 per
impedire pegnimenti e riaccen ioni repentine.
Nella modalità pompa di calore la onda di mandata può e ere collegata e la ua
funzione diventa di antighiacciamento e/o anti urri caldamento della batteria.
Se in raffre camento la onda rileva una temperatura minore o uguale a C02, il
termo tato interdice il compre ore: funzione antighiacciamento della batteria.
Se in ri caldamento la onda rileva una temperatura uperiore o uguale alla oglia
impo tata nel parametro P22, il termo tato interdice il compre ore: funzione
anti urri caldamento della batteria.
HEAT PUMP SYSTEM
The regulator can be configured to manage a heat pump y tem (P01=4) thu
controlling a 4-way valve wired at the heating output and a compre or at the
cooling output.
The 4-way valve output i alway turned on or off according to the heating or cooling
etting of the regulator. In ca e the “EUROPEAN“ type of driving i cho en, the 4-way
valve i powered in heating mode and left unpowered in cooling. Alternatively, with
the valve wired at terminal 8, the driving logic i rever ed: the valve i powered in
cooling and left unpowered in heating (“USA“ type).
The compre or output i active whenever it i nece ary to “pump“ the heat, that i
when the room need to be cooled down or heated up. It i advi able to et a delay
on the compre or output (parameter C09) in order to avoid too frequent turn-off and
turn-on.
In the heat pump mode the upply water temperature en or can till be wired and it
purpo e i for protection again t freezing or overheating of the heat exchanger.
Should the upply en or, when in cooling mode, detect a temperature lower than
C02, the regulator top the compre or (anti-freeze protection).
On the other hand, hould the upply en or, when in heating mode, detect a
temperature higher than the value tored in parameter P22, the regulator top again
the compre or (over-heat protection).

automatico del modo di climatizzazione e etpoint della ri pettiva tagione.

UNDERFLOOR HEATING SYSTEMS WITH FAN COIL FOR COOLING
The thermo tat can be configured to manage a pecial y tem which u e different
mean of temperature conditioning depending on whether heating or cooling i
needed in the room.
For example, in ummer ea on a fan coil can be driven for room cooling by
controlling the fan and the cold valve, while in winter ea on it could only drive the
hot valve of the underfloor y tem, alway keeping the fan coil fan off.
The thermo tat can receive information on the ummer/winter tatu directly from the
heating y tem on an input (
pitche
M13/EI or M14/RDC-ECO), in thi way there will be
an automatic management of the ea onal changeover, with an automatic recall of
the climate mode and etpoint of the re pective ea on.
To configure thi type of y tem, et P01=1 and P03=4.
FUNZIONE ECONOMY
La funzione Economy permette di impo tare temporaneamente una riduzione dei
con umi riducendo la temperatura di etpoint impo tata di uno tep configurabile
quando in ri caldamento, o aumentando il etpoint dello tep configurabile quando
in raffre camento. Lo tep di riduzione i impo ta con il parametro P17: e que to viene
impo tato a 0.0 la funzione Economy è di abilitata. La modalità di ri parmio Economy
i attiva da pul ante come piegato nel paragrafo “De crizione dei comandi”.
La funzione Economy può e ere attivata da remoto in modo centralizzato anche u
più termo tati utilizzando gli ingre i alle piazzole M13 o M14 (vedere parametri
C14
e
C15
).
Il termo tato è en ibile al cambiamento di tato del egnale e non al livello e quindi è
empre po ibile, tramite il pul ante , cambiare lo tato di attivazione della funzione
Economy anche e è tato forzato dal egnale centralizzato. Quando la funzione
Economy è attiva, icona acce a, e endo una modalità di ri parmio, la velocità
del ventilatore arà limitata alla prima.
ECONOMY FUNCTION
The “Economy“ function allow to temporary et an energy aving mode through a
reduction of the actual etpoint temperature by a tep (configurable) when in
heating mode, or increa ing it by the ame tep when in cooling mode.
The value for thi reduction tep i et with parameter P17: when thi i et to 0.0 the
Economy function i actually di abled. The Economy mode i activated by the
button, a de cribed in the “De cription of control ” ection.
The Economy mode can be remotely activated in centrali ed mode, even for multiple
thermo tat , u ing the input to pitche M13 or M14 ( ee parameter C14 and C15).
Since the thermo tat i en itive to ignal tatu change and not to the level, u e the
button to change the activation tatu of the Economy function, even when it i
forced by the centrali ed ignal. When the Economy function i activated ( icon
on), fan peed i limited to the fir t.
FUNZIONE A ISO FILTRO SPORCO
I ventilconvettori e altri di po itivi funzionanti con un ventilatore ono pe o
equipaggiati di filtro ull’a pirazione, che nece ita di una pulizia periodica. Il
di po itivo può avvi are quando è il momento di e eguire la pulizia attivando la
funzione di “avvi o filtro porco”.
La funzione i attiva impo tando un tempo ul parametro P24, il termo tato conta il
tempo di funzionamento del ventilatore e quando raggiunge la oglia impo tata in
P24 avvi a facendo lampeggiare l’icona filtro ul di play.
Per re ettare la egnalazione e azzerare il contatore del tempo, quando i è e eguita
la pulizia, arà nece ario tenere premuto il pul ante per 10 econdi fino a che
l’icona filtro compare dal di play.
DIRTY FILTER WARNING FUNCTION
Fan-coil and other device including a fan are often equipped with a filter for the air
in the uction path, which need a periodical maintenance and cleaning or
replacement. Thi regulator can warn the u er when the maintenance ha to be
made, provided the “Dirty filter warning“ function ha been enabled.
The function i activated by etting the time-to-maintenance on parameter P24. The
thermo tat will count the fan operation time and when the thre hold et in P24 (per
100 hour ) i reached, the filter icon blink on the di play.
Once the filter ha been cleaned, to re et the warning and the time counter keep the
button pre ed for 10 econd , until the filter icon di appear from the di play.
REGOLAZIONE DELLA TEMPERATURA
Il termo tato è in grado di pilotare in maniera proporzionale valvole e ventilatore in
modo da regolare la temperatura ambiente con il ma imo comfort e ri parmio.
Tuttavia ambienti diver i nece itano di impo tazioni diver e al fine di ottenere una
regolazione preci a. I parametri re pon abili della qualità della regolazione ono:
Banda proporzionale C05 e C06
Tempo di integrazione C07 e C08
Per ognuna delle due impo tazioni ci ono due parametri perché è po ibile dare
impo tazioni diver e a econda e i è in ri caldamento o raffre camento.
La banda proporzionale, e pre a in °C, è quella differenza tra etpoint e temperatura
ambiente che fa ì che il regolatore apra tutta la valvola. Tanto più tretta è la banda
proporzionale tanto più è reattivo il i tema al variare della temperatura ambiente.
Un’impo tazione della banda proporzionale troppo tretta può generare o cillazioni
della temperatura ambiente o in tabilità del i tema. Un’impo tazione troppo larga
può portare a non raggiungere nell’ambiente la temperatura impo tata ul etpoint.
Quando il tempo di integrazione è impo tato a zero non i ha ne una azione
integrativa, e la regolazione è di tipo P (Proporzionale). Impo tando un tempo di
integrazione diver o da zero la regolazione arà di tipo P+I (Proporzionale + Integrale).
Tanto più piccolo è il tempo integrale tanto più grande è l’azione integrale, vicever a
un tempo integrale lungo genera un’azione integrale blanda. Un’azione integrale
blanda o a ente può far ì che non i rie ca a raggiungere nell’ambiente la
temperatura impo tata ul etpoint. Un’azione integrale troppo forte può generare
delle o cillazioni della temperatura ambiente. E’ nece ario ritoccare que ti parametri
a econda dell’ambiente in cui i opera al fine di ottenere la migliore regolazione.
TEMPERATURE REGULATION
Thi device can drive in a proportional way both valve and fan in order to control
room temperature with the highe t comfort and energy aving. Nonethele each
different environment need a different et for ome parameter in order to get an
accurate regulation. Parameter re pon ible for the regulation accuracy are:
Proportional band: C05 and C06
Integral time: C07 and C08
For each of the etting two parameter are available, becau e the u er i allowed to
et different value for heating and cooling mode.
Proportional band, mea ured in °C, i intended a the difference between etpoint
and room temperature which i needed to fully open the regulating valve. The
narrower the proportional band, the fa te t i the regulator to counteract temperature
variation in the room. Yet a too “narrow“ value for thi parameter can re ult in room
temperature o cillation or y tem in tability. A too “wide“ value could re ult in the
impo ibility to reach the etpoint temperature in the room.
When the integral time i et to zero, no integral action i made and therefore the
regulation i purely proportional (P type). When an integral time different from zero i
et the re ulting regulation i made of a Proportional plu an Integral action (P+I type).
The maller the integral time, the greater the influence of the integral action and vice-
ver a: with a greater integral time the re ulting integral action i ofter. A too oft or
null integral action could re ult in the impo ibility to reach the etpoint temperature,
meanwhile a too trong integral action could po ibly generate o cillation in the
room temperature. It i nece ary to adju t the e parameter according to the actual
environment in which the regulator i in talled to get the be t regulation accuracy.
