Thank you for deciding to purchase this Handy Reacher from Aidapt. Our Handy Reachers are

manufactured from the finest materials and components available. When used correctly they

are designed to give many years of reliable trouble-free service.

BEFORE USE

Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives of other sharp instruments as this

may damage the surface of the product.

Check the product for any visible damage If you see any damage or suspect a fault, do not

use your product, but contact your supplier for support.

INTENDED USE

The reacher is designed to assist in reaching and lifting items from the floor, table or shelf. It

can also be used in some situations as a dressing aid; although we would stress caution is

necessary when using the reacher with tights or stockings due to the fine nature of the

material of these garments.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Using the reacher is simple, place the grip over the object you wish to lift and squeeze the

trigger. Ensure the moving finger of the grip and the main frame of the reacher are properly

secured round the object and lift.

Place the object you have lifted safely onto a flat and level surface and release the trigger.

Always assess the suitability of an item before pi king it up; do not attempt to

arry heavy or fragile items with your rea her.

CLEANING

Clean your Handy Reacher using a non-abrasive cleaner or mild detergent with a soft cloth.

Abrasive cleaners e.g. AJAX and/ or abrasive cleaning pads may seriously damage the

product beyond repair and should not be used. Always ensure that you wipe dry the

equipment after cleaning.

REISSUE

If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all components

for their safety.

This includes:

•

Tightness of all nuts/ bolts/castors

•

Other screw in/ bolt in/ push in components.

If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately onta t your supplier for

servi e support.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Please make a safety check of the product at regular intervals or if you have any concerns.

•

Specifically, check the tension of the cable string, which attaches to the trigger and

gripper (finger) section of the reacher.

•

If for any reason the cable string has become slack, carefully undo the string,

readjust the tension and re-tie the string.

•

Squeeze the trigger to ensure that the gripping arm fits tightly, safely and square

to the mian frame. If not, repeat the steps above.

AVANT UTILISATION/INSTALLATION

•Déballez soigneusement l'emballage. Evitez d'utiliser un couteau, un cutter ou

autre outil tranchant car cela pourrait endommager la surface du produit.

•Vérifiez que le produit est en bon état. Vérifiez que le mécanisme de la pince

fonctionne correctement et ferme bien. En cas de défaut, veuillez contacter votre

revendeur.

UTILISATION RECOMMANDÉE

Ce produit est destiné à vous aider à atteindre et soulever des objets situés par terre, sur une

table ou une étagère. Il peut également dans certains cas être utilisé comme une aide à

l'habillement; nous tenons toutefois à vous signaler que la prudence est de rigueur quand

vous utilisez cet appareil avec des collants ou des bas compte tenu de la finesse du matériau

de ces vêtements.

CONSEILS D'UTILISATION

L'utilisation de cet appareil est simple. Placez la pince sur l'objet que vous voulez soulever et

appuyez sur la gâchette. Avant de soulever l'objet, vérifiez que vous l'avez bien agrippé.

Posez l'objet que vous avez soulevé sur une surface plane et relâchez la gâchette.

Attention ! évaluez toujou s la pe tinence d'un objet avant de le amasse ;

n'essayez pas de souleve des objets lou ds ou f agiles avec vot e pince.

Attention ! En aucun cas, vous ne devez souleve ni att ape des objets chauds

avec cet appa eil, vous pou iez blesse quelqu'un ou vous-même.

NETTOYAGE

Nettoyez votre main à distance avec un produit de nettoyage non abrasif ou un détergent

dou et un chiffon dou . Les produits de nettoyage type AJAX et/ou les éponges abrasives

pourraient sérieusement abîmer votre appareil. Vous ne devez pas les utiliser. Essuyez

soigneusement l'appareil après le lavage.

RÉUTILISATION

Si vous n'avez pas utilisé cet appareil pendant longtemps, vérifiez qu'il est en bon état.

Cela comprend :

•l'étanchéité des écrous/boulons/roulettes

•les vis et boulons de tous les composants

En cas de doute, ne l'utilisez pas ni ne le p êtez pas.

SOIN & ENTRETIEN

Contrôlez régulièrement l'état de votre produit.

•Contrôlez surtout la tension du du câble entre la gâchette et la pince.

•Si pour une quelconque raison le câble est détendu, enlevez-le, réajustez la tension

et remettez-le.

•Appuyez sur le gâchette pour vérifier que la pince de préhension colle étroitement

et en toute sécurité à l'armature principale. Si ce n'est pas le cas, répétez les étapes

décrites ci-dessus.

VERWENDUNGSZWECK

Dieser Hand-Greifer wurde entwickelt, um Ihnen beim Greifen und Heben von

Gegenständen vom Boden, vom Tisch oder aus dem Regal zu helfen. Er kann in

manchen Situation auch als Anziehhilfe eingesetzt werden. Seien Sie dabei

allerdings vorsichtig, da der Hand-Greifer dünne aterialien wie Strumpfhosen

leicht beschädigen kann.

GEBRAUCH

Den Hand-Greifer zu benutzen, ist einfach: Halten Sie die Greifer über das Objekt,

dass sie heben möchten, und drücken Sie die Griffe zusammen. Stellen Sie dabei

sicher, dass das Gerät bei Ihnen gut in der Hand liegt.

Legen Sie das Objekt, dass Sie angehoben haben, auf einer ebenen

Oberfläche ab, und lassen Sie die Griffe wieder los.

Prüfen Sie stets, ob sich das Objekt zum Heben eignet; versuchen Sie nicht,

schwere oder fragile Gegenstände mit dem Greifer anzuheben.

Versuchen Sie keinesfa s, mit dem Greifer heiße Gegenstände anzuheben, da

dies zu ernsthaften Ver etzungen führen könnte.
