Installation instructions
Airobot L / L EMC installation
The device must be installed indoors. When selecting a location for your device, note:
●The device shall be installed in the required environmental conditions:
1) The ambient temperature must be between + 5 ° C and + 30 ° C and the humidity up to
80%.
2) The device does not come into contact with steam or liquids.
●The device makes noise while working and may interfere with life. It is recommended to install
the device in a technical room or other auxiliary room.
●The device must be serviced regularly, so the device must be easily accessible.
●The device must be mounted horizontally on the ceiling and must be level. The EMV
(moisture return) model may be installed in other positions under certain conditions (ask your
dealer for more information).
●The installation location of the appliance must be provided with: mains plug, mains cable
(recommended) and condensate drain (not required for EMV model under certain conditions).
Dimensions
Silencers must be installed between the supply, exhaust and exhaust air ducts and the unit, otherwise
the noise from the fans will reach the ductwork. When connecting the appliance to the ventilation duct,
make sure that the connections are properly tightened, airtight and insulated.

Piping connections
The type of device (location of the piping) is indicated on the type plate on the top of the device. The
channel names are referenced by numbers in the previous figure.
Installation on the ceiling
The device is mounted on the ceiling using
mounting brackets with dowels and screws.
When installing the ceiling, note that:
●load-bearing ceiling would be
strong enough.
●the screws and dowels used
correspond to the type of ceiling,
the screws provided in the package
may not be suitable.
●device must be leveled.
●when fixing under the suspended
ceiling, an 800x1200mm service
door must be installed for the maintenance
of the device.
●sufficient space is provided for the
connection of the appliance and the
ventilation ducts.
●installation of rubber bushes between the
mounting brackets and the ceiling with a
screw reduces noise and vibration on the
structure
The following requirements must be met during installation:
●The device must be connected to a ventilation system according to the design
●The kitchen hood must be connected to a separate extraction system.

Condensation drain connection
During the cold period, condensation forms in the unit and must be drained out of the unit.
If a heat recovery heat exchanger (ERV model) is used, no condensate will form under normal
conditions and the installation of a condensate hose is not mandatory. If there are rooms with a
constant high humidity level (constantly more than 50% humidity during the winter, such as sauna or
pool rooms, etc.), the installation of a condensate hose is mandatory.
●A 15 mm outer diameter copper pipe comes out of the appliance, to which a condensate drain
pipe must be fitted.
●An O-ring water trap must be made on the drain pipe and the pipe must be installed at a
minimum inclination of 3%, ie there must be a drop of at least 3 cm for every 1 meter!
●The minimum diameter of an O-ring water trap is 10 cm, care must be taken to ensure that no
voltages are created in the hose when the water trap is formed, which would prevent
drainage. A water trap is allowed in any location, it is important that no part of the hose is
higher than the lower part of the device.
●Condensation may not escape from the unit due to improper installation or lack of a water
trap, and water damage to the unit and the home may result.

Installing the Airobot S1 / S2
The device must be installed indoors. When selecting a location for your device, note:
●The device shall be installed in the required environmental conditions:
1) The ambient temperature must be between + 5 ° C and + 30 ° C and the humidity up to
80%.
a. The device has 70mm EPS insulation. It is allowed to install the device in an
unheated but dry room (for example, in the attic), but this must be specified with
the dealer when ordering the device. Care must be taken to insulate the
condensate outlet so that it cannot freeze and to use a special heating cable
inside the pipe. The appliance must not be stopped if the ambient temperature is
below 0 ° C, otherwise the appliance may freeze (condensation inside the
appliance).
2) The device does not come into contact with steam or liquids.
●The device makes noise while working and may interfere with life. It is recommended to install
the device in a technical room or other auxiliary room.
●The device must be serviced regularly, so the device must be easily accessible.
Dimensions
Silencers must be installed between the supply,
exhaust and exhaust air ducts and the unit,
otherwise the noise from the fans will reach the
ductwork. When connecting the appliance to the
ventilation duct, make sure that the connections
are properly tightened, airtight and insulated.
Make sure that the insulation covers the fittings
on the appliance, otherwise condensation will
form on the outside of the fittings and damage the
appliance.

Wall mounting the Airobot S1 / S2 p
The device is mounted on the wall using a wall mount. Attach the wall mount to the wall with 3 screws.
When installing the wall mount, note that:
●the load-bearing wall is strong enough.
●the screws and dowels used correspond to
the type of wall, the screws provided in the
package may not be suitable.
●the minimum distance between the wall
mount and the ceiling is 300 mm and
between the bottom and the floor of the unit
is 275 mm (required to service the unit).
●the wall mount would be level.
●sufficient space is provided for the
connection of the appliance and the
ventilation pipes.
●The installation location of the appliance
must be provided with: mains plug, mains
cable (recommended) and condensate drain
(not required for EMV model under certain
conditions).
The following requirements must be met during installation:
●The device must be connected to a
ventilation system according to the design.
●The kitchen hood must be connected to a
