Introduction
ALC-9171 is a multi-functional 2 megapixel H.264 Box IP Camera. Unlike traditional IP Cameras,
ALC-9171 has a built-in high power CPU and H.264 encode chip to provide users with a
mechanism for the security or remote monitoring applications, and it can deliver triplex video
streams simultaneously (Motion JPEG and H.264), allowing for optimization in image quality and
bandwidth.
The product offers the many application function such as two-way audio, DDNS, samba, FTP, Mail,
Multicast, QoS, blind detection, motion detection, privacy mask, event management and multi-level
passwords for meeting user variety level of security needs.
This product is easy to install, convenient to operate, and provide the PoE(802.3at) or
Wireless(802.11b/g) application for customer.

Features and Advantages
ALC-9171 can operate smoothly without the need to install additional software or hardware. All you
need is a PC that is equipped with IE browser (6.0 or above) and connect the Internet Camera to
the network to monitor the pre-set places remotely. ALC-9171 can provide you with protection of
your personal, home, and property security.

There are two interfaces for ALC-9171, and the different types have the different the interface of back front.

SMA Connecter
Connect the wireless antenna to SMA connecter to add the wireless range. According to your
environment, select the highest power antenna to add the wireless range by yourself.
NOTE:
The SMA Connecter & Wireless Antenna will appear on the ALC-9171W package
Reset (Button)
After turning on the machine, press in this hole for 5~10 seconds via a sharp object to reset to
default settings.
LINE OUT
Connect a speaker to the “LINE OUT” socket.

MIC IN
Connect a microphone with 3.5mm phone jack into the "MIC IN".
NOTE:
Two-Way Audio communication must be completed the MIC IN and LINE OUT connection
LAN Socket
Insert your LAN cable in the LAN socket.
NOTE:
PoE type will be print the “DC12/PoE”
External Alarm

your RS-485 Pan/Tilt for details of the wiring of your Pan / Tilt.
