Codelock A04
A04 is a robust, stand alone code lock for indoor and outdoor use.

Connection
Connector Function
1-2 Power supply 10-40VDC or 8-35VAC
3-4 Relay output
5-6 Not used
7-8 Timer input
Closure between terminals 7 and 8 means that
code 3
(CODE 3) is not working.

Programming
To start the programming mode
After power-up, the programming mode starts automatically when the enclosure is closed. The pro-
gramming mode can then be activated by one of the following options:
lWithin 45 seconds after a valid access (with code or exit button) unlock, open and close the
enclosure.
lWith six-digit programming code.
In programming mode
CODE 1

flashes under the cor-
responding function buttons.
Determine programming code
1. Enter programming mode
2. Press A20.
3. Enter a six digit programming code twice. A valid entry is confirmed by a beep.
4. Exit programming mode by pressing B or wait for 30 seconds.
Add new code or change code
1. Enter programming mode
2. Press the function key for the code to be changed or added.
3. Enter the desired four-digit code.
4. Exit programming mode by pressing B or wait for 30 seconds.

Delete code
1. Enter programming mode
2. Press the function key for the code to be deleted.
3. Exit programming mode by pressing B or wait for 30 seconds.
Change unlock time
1. Enter programming mode
2. Press the function key
OPEN TIME

3. Enter the desired unlock time (01-99 seconds).
4. Exit programming mode by pressing B or wait for 30 seconds.
Set relay function (NO / NC)
1. Enter programming mode
2. Enter one of the following:
lEnter A090 for NC relay function.
lEnter A091 for NO relay function (Managed).
3. Exit programming mode by pressing B or wait for 30 seconds.
Blocking after invalid code
Three incorrect attempts (four digits) block the code lock.
Reset takes place automatically after 1 minute or by entering a valid code twice.
Factory reset
1. Enter programming mode
2. Enter A 00199200.
