This section contains safety instructions that will
help protect from risk of personal injury or material
damage.
Failure to follow these instructions voids any grant-
ed warranty.
1.1 General safety
• This appliance complies with international safety
standards.
• This appliance can be used by children who are at
the age of 8 and above and by people who have
reduced physical, perceptual or mental abilities or
by people who are deficient in terms of experience
and knowledge as long as they are supervised and
given the instructions regarding the safe use of
the appliance and dangers encountered. Children
should not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance works should not be
performed by children under the age 8.
• Keep the appliance and its power cable so that they
are inaccessible by children under 8 years old.

do not use it. Contact an authorised service.
• Your mains power supply should comply with the
information on the rating plate of the appliance.
• For additional protection, this appliance should be
connected to a household residual current device
with a rating of no more than 30 mA.
• Use the appliance with a grounded outlet.
• Do not use the appliance with an extension cable.
• Prevent damage to the power cable by not
squeezing, bending, or rubbing it on sharp edges.
• Do not touch the plug of the appliance with damp
or wet hands.
• Do not immerse the appliance or its power cable in
water.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is
plugged in.
• This appliance is intended only for household use
and cooking; it is not suitable for professional use.

• Exterior surface gets hot while the appliance is
in use. Do not touch hot surfaces to avoid risk of
burning.
• Do not leave metal cooking utensils and items on
cooking plates.
• Operate and store the appliance on a stable surface.
• Do not attempt to dismantle the appliance.
• Only use the original parts or parts recommended
by the manufacturer.
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning and let it
completely dry after cleaning.
• Clean only the outer surface and the plates
according to the instructions in the Cleaning and
Care chapter.
• The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
• The appliance should not be operated with an
external clock timer or separate remote control
system.

• Food items can catch fire due to overheating. Do not
allow the appliance to get in contact or be covered
with flammable items such as curtains, fabric, wall
panels and etc.
• Never use the appliance in or near places where
combustible or inflammable ambience or places are

• Charcoal or similar fuels should not be used with
this appliance.
• If you keep the packaging materials, store them out
of the reach of children.

1.2 Compliance with the WEEE Directive and
disposal of the waste product
This product does not include harmful or prohibited materials
specified in the "Regulation for Supervision of the Waste Electric
and Electronic Appliances" issued by the Ministry of Environment
and Urbanisation. This appliance conforms to the WEEE regula-
tion. This appliance has been manufactured with high quality
parts and materials which can be reused and are suitable for recycling.
Therefore, do not dispose the appliance with normal domestic waste or
other wastes at the end of its service life. Take it to a collection point for
the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Ask the local author-
ity in your area for these collection points. Help protect the environment
and natural resources by recycling used products.
1.3 Package information
Package of the appliance is made of recyclable materials in ac-
cordance with our National Legislation. Do not dispose packag-
ing materials together with domestic waste or other wastes.
Take them to the packaging material collection points designat-
ed by local authorities.
1.4 Things to do for energy saving
Switch off and unplug the appliance after using it. Select appropriate tem-
peratures when cooking your food.

3.1 Intended use
This appliance is intended only for
household use and cooking; it is not
suitable for professional use.
3.2 Initial use
Clean all parts of the appliances
with a damp sponge cloth. When
using the appliance for the first
time, slightly grease the grill sur-
face.
3.3 Operation
1. Place the appliance on a flat and
stable surface.
2. Hold the grill surface (see 3.4)
you want to use so that it faces
upwards and place it completely
onto the body.
3. Place the oil collecting reservoir
(8) in its housing which is found
at the side of the appliance.

water you add into
the oil collecting
reservoir (8) can re-
duce the some that
will arise during the
cooking process.

If the
place is not seated
completely, you can-
not plug in the power
cable.

cable entry.

on and it will go off once the

reached.
