♦ If the coin cell battery contents come into contact
with the skin, immediately wash area with mild
soap and water. If coin cell battery liquid gets
into the eye, rinse water over the open eye for
15 minutes or until irritation ceases. If medical
attention is needed, the battery electrolyte is
composed of an organic solvent and lithium salts.
♦ Do not incinerate or dispose of tool together with
household waste material! Tool that has reached
the end of its life must be collected separately
and returned to an environmentally compatible
recycling facility.
♦ To install the battery, rst detach the battery
cover from the remote. To do this, place a thumb
or small object, on the grooved area on the
underside of the battery cover and push it gently
to the side, while simultaneously pulling the
compartment away from the body of the remote.
♦ Insert 1 x CR2025 battery into the battery
compartment, taking care to ensure the positive
polarity is facing upwards.
♦ Once the battery is in place, slide the battery
cover back into the remote. It will automatically
lock into place and secure the battery inside.
Note! The panel on the unit and the remote
control can be used interchangeably, as they are
synchronised.
Turning the Unit On or Off
♦ Press the ON/OFF switch on the base of the unit.
The unit will be in stand-by mode.
♦ Touch the POWER button on the top of the unit or
on the remote control and you will hear a click.
♦ The unit will turn on in HIGH heat mode. The
indicator light will illuminate.
♦ After turning the unit ON, the heat setting can be
changed between High and Low by touching the
“MODE” button on the remote control. The light on
the unit control panel will illuminate:
• Light Red Light – Low Heat
• Dark Red Light – High Heat
• Blue Light - Fan
♦ Touch the POWER button to turn the unit OFF.
The unit will continue to run for several seconds in
order to clear the warm air from it.
Setting the Timer
♦ The timer can be set for 2, 4 or 8 hours.
♦ To set the timer, touch the button on the top of
the unit:
♦ Once for 2 hours
♦ Twice for 4 hours
♦ Three times for 8 hours
♦ A red light will indicate the amount of time
selected.
♦ Alternatively, touch the button on the remote
control to toggle between 2,4 and 8 hours.
♦ If the unit is set to turn off from the timer function,
it will automatically remember the timer length
from the last time it was turned on and will revert
to that time period.
Controlling the Air Flow
Oscillation – Moving Left to right:
♦ Touch and hold the button on the unit for 2
seconds or touch the button on the remote
control. The unit with oscillate left and right.
♦ To turn the oscillation off, touch the button on
the unit for 2 seconds or touch the button on
the remote control.
Oscillation – Swing Backwards and Forwards:
♦ Touch and hold the button on the top of the
unit for 2 seconds or touch the button on the
remote control. The unit will swing back and forth.
♦ To turn the swing oscillation function off, touch
and hold the button on the unit for 2 seconds or
touch the button on the remote control.
