General safety warnings
Warning! Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock,
fire and/or serious injury.
The term power tool used in the safety instructions refers to power tools (corded) or battery-powered tools (cordless).
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER TOOLS
Read and follow the safety instructions before using this tool.
Save this manual for future reference.
1. Work area. Do not use power tools under conditions of rain or excessive moisture. Do not use power tools near flammable
materials. Use the tool in an environment with good lighting.
2. Protection against electric shock. When using power tools, avoid contact with other devices that may be earther.
Risk of electric shock.
3. Store the tool in a safe area. When not in use, keep the tool in a safe, moisture-free environment and away from children.
4. Do not abuse the power cable. Do not use the cord to carry the tool and do not use the cord to unplug the tool from the
socket. Protect it from heat and take measures so that it is not likely to be cut.
5. Maintain your tools with care. Keep your tools clean to ensure safe use. Follow the maintenance instructions. Check the cord
and plug frequently for signs of wear. If you see deterioration on it, have the cord or plug replaced by an authorized service
center or contact the original store of purchase for additional instructions. If using an extension make sure it is in good
condition and that the necessary fuses are present in the electrical panel. Ensure that a ground connection is present before
proceeding with any power tool use.
6. Make sure your tool is not plugged in. Before performing any maintenance work and before applying any parts to it, make
sure that your power tool is not connected to the power supply.
7. Avoid unintentional starting of your tool. Do not carry your tool while it is connected to the power supply and do not have
your hand on the power switch unnecessarily. Make sure the power switch is in the off position when connecting your tool to
the power supply.
8. Work outdoors with extension cords. When working outdoors and using an extension, make sure that it is approved for
outdoor use and provides sufficient protection against electric shock.
Personal safety while working with the tool
1. Stay alert and watch your movements when using the tool. Do not use this tool when you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol, medication or other substances. One moment of carelessness can wreak havoc and result in
serious injury.
2. Use all means of personal protection. Always use safety glasses and other means of protection. Wearing a safety mask,
anti-skid shoes, safety helmet and hearing protection will greatly reduce the likelihood of an accident.
3. Prevent the possibility of unintentional starting of the tool. Make sure that the switch is in the off position before connecting
your tool to the power supply. Do not have your finger on the power switch unnecessarily.

4. Do not stretch to reach a distant surface. Make sure you always have good balance and that you always have both
feet on the floor.
5. Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothes and gloves away from moving parts.
6. If your tool is equipped with a dust extractor or a suction system, make sure they are properly connected and working
properly.
7. Use only personal protective equipment that is approved for the task you want to perform. Safety glasses must be ANSI
class and the mask must be NIOSH class.
Safety and protection of the tool
1. Do not overload your tool. Use the right tool for the right job.
Do not use your tool if the on-off switch does not work. Any tool cannot be controlled by the on-off switch is dangerous
and must be repaired.

3. Disconnect your tool from the power supply before you make any changes to it, change an attachment or need to store it.
Such preventive measures reduce the risk of accidentally starting your tool.
4. Keep your tools out of the reach of children and prevent persons who do not know how to use them correctly from
operating them. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of people who don't know how to use them correctly.
5. Maintenance of tools. Check the fit of the various components and the alignment of the various moving parts. Check for
wear on all moving parts of your tool. If you notice deterioration in any part visit an authorized service center before
using it. Many accidents occur due to poor maintenance.
6. Keep your tools clean and always properly maintained. A properly maintained tool is easier and safer to use.
7. Use the accessories and the tool itself for the purpose for which they were made, taking into account the conditions, the
difficulty of the task at hand and the instructions for use. Using your tool for tasks it was not designed to perform can lead
to accidents or can cause damage to the tool.
SERVICE
For any repair, use only genuine spare parts and contact an authorised repair workshop.
This will keep your tool working properly for much longer.
Additional safety instructions for laminate trimmers.
•Hold the tool by the specially insulated handles when working in a place where there may be hidden power cables etc.
Contact with a live wire can cause electric shock to the user.
•Use protective headphones when working for extended periods of time.
•Handle cutting tools with care.
•Inspect your cutting tools carefully before use. Replace worn cutting tools with new, genuine ones.
•Avoid cutting nails. Check and remove all nails from your workpiece before using the tool.
•Hold your tool firmly.
•Keep your hands away from the rotating parts of your tool.
•Make sure that the cutting attachment on the tool is not touching the workpiece before turning on the power tool.
•Before you use your tool to do any work, first do a test run without the cutting attachment coming into contact with anything.
Watch for any vibrations that will indicate that your cutting attachment is not installed correctly.
•Watch the rotation of your cutting tool and the direction of the feed.
•Do not leave your tool running unattended. Only operate your tool when you have a firm grip on it.
•Always wait until the cutting attachment has completely stopped rotating before removing the tool from the workpiece.

•Do not touch the cutting attachment directly after use because it is likely to still be hot from use.
•Always handle your tool in a direction away from the power cord.
•Do not coat the base of your tool with detergent or oil solutions as this may cause it to break.
•Only use cutting attachments that perfectly match the maximum diameter of the spindle and are suitable for the rotational
speed of your tool.
•Secure your workpiece to prevent it from moving.
•Always switch off your tool and disconnect it from the power supply before changing the cutting attachment.
•Make sure the guard is secured in place before proceeding with any work.
•Operate your tool for at least one minute in a safe location if you have a new cutting attachment installed.
•Remove any tool or wrench before operating your tool.
•Never apply too much force on the tool and never overload your tool.
•Check often that all screws are tightened in place before use.
•Make sure your attachment is positioned according to the direction of rotation of your tool.
Ιnserting a cutting attachment
1. Release and remove the transparent guard by opening the locking lever.
2. Press the spindle lock button and slowly rotate the spindle by hand until it locks in place.
3. Use the included wrench to loosen the lock nut on the end of the spindle.
4. Insert cutter into the spindle collet. Note the speed of cutter for this trimmer should not
be less than 33000rpm.
5. Tighten the lock nut to secure the cutter in the spindle. Do not overtighten.
6. Reattach the transparent guard.
7. To remove a cutter perform the above steps in reverse order.
Do not tighten the lock nut without a cutter in place or you could damage the spindle
collet.
Installing the base guide
Unscrew knob on back of transparent guard. Slide base guide over the rail to the
desired position.
Tighten the knob to secure.
Installing extension guide
Unscrew knob on back of transparent guard.
Slide extension guide over the rail to the desired position.
Tighten knob to secure.
Straight edge is fully adjustable and can be attached in two positions.

Installing the template guide
Remove the four screws from the transparent guard.
Insert the template guide into the slot and sandwich by replacing the top of the guard.
Replace screws.
Operation
Cutting depth adjustment
Unlock the transparent guard and slide to desired depth.
Use the ruler on the side of the trimmer to determine correct setting.
Relock guard after adjusting.
Commencing operation
Plug the trimmer into the mains power. Warning! Ensure switch is off before plugging into mains power.
Place the front edge of the trimmer on the material you want cut, make sure the cutter is not yet in contact with the workpiece.
Grip trimmer firmly with both hands then press the on button.
Wait for the trimmer to achieve full speed.
Keep the base of the transparent guard in contact with the surface of
the workpiece then move the unit towards the workpiece until
cutting commences. Maintain constant cutting pressure and advance
the trimmer smoothly until cutting is complete. Do not apply so
much pressure that the motor slows excessively.
Warning! Always use two hands when operating the trimmer and
where possible clamp the work piece to a bench.
Using the extension guide
The guide is an effective aid when cutting in a straight line, chamfering or grooving.
1. Attach the straight edge to the extension guide with wing nut, bolt & washer.
2. Adjust the distance as required & tighten.
3. Commence operation and move tool running the straight edge flush with the work piece.
4. If the distance of your required cut is greater than that allowed by the extension you must clamp a
timber straight edge onto your work piece to use as an additional guide.
5. You will need to reverse the position ofthe straight edge on your extension guide.
Simply loosen the wing nut, slide straight edge off the extension, reverse, slide into desired position
& tighten the wing nut.

Using the extension guide to cut circles
1. Mark the center point of the desired circle on the work piece and align the center point
hole in the guide.
2. Fix the guide to the work piece with a screw less than 6mm.
3. Adjust the cutting diameter by adjusting the direction and length of the extension.
Cutting radius 80-217mm with edge facing trimmer.
Cutting radius 103-221 mm with edge facing away from trimmer.
4. Commence operation in a circular arc anchored by the screw.
Using the base guide
•Turn screw A to adjust the base guide to the desired distance in relation to the cutting bit.
•Tighten screw B to secure base guide in place.
•Commence operation and ensure the guide roller on the base guide is flush with the work piece.
Keep motion smooth.
Maintenance
Warning! Turn the trimmer off & unplug before inspection & maintenance. Regularly inspect the
tool for wear, damage, dirt & debris.
1. Replace worn bits.
2. Inspect cords & have replaced by an qualified electrician if damaged.
3. Clean all dirt, dust & debris.
4. Inspect brushes regularly for wear and proper operation.
Firstly remove the brush cap with a screwdriver.
If the brushes are excessively worn the trimmer will not operate, replace both sides with new
brushes.

ENVIRONMENTAL DISPOSAL
In order to avoid damages on transportation, the tool has to be delivered in solid packaging. Packaging as well as the unit and accessories are made of
recyclable materials and can be disposed accordingly. The tool's plastics components are marked according to their material, which makes it possible to
remove environmental friendly and differentiated because of available collection facilities.

Do not dispose of electric tools together with household waste material!
In observance of European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation in accordance with
national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible
recycling facility.
Using the template guide
The template guide can be used for the following:
•Produce duplicates of a particular design.
•Produce decorative features.
•Repetitive cutting.
Please note once the template guide is attached you can attach a template to the work piece.
Then allow the tool to slide along template during operation.
Note: The work piece will be cut at a slightly different size compared to the template. You must
calculate the distance between the bit and the outside of the template guide with this equation:
Distance=(outside diameter of template guide -router bit diameter/2)

Γενικές οδηγίες ασφαλείας.
Προσοχή! Διαβάστε όλες τις οδηγίες ασφαλείας και τις προειδοποιήσεις. Η μη τήρηση αυτού μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε

Ο όρος ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο που χρησιμοποιείτε στις οδηγίες ασφαλείας αναφέρετε σε εργαλεία που λειτουργούν με ρεύμα
(καλώδιο) ή με μπαταρία (χωρίς καλώδιο).

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ! Ακολουθήστε τις ακόλουθες απλές οδηγίες ασφάλειας για να αποφύγετε κινδύνους τραυματισμού από
ηλεκτροπληξία, φωτιά και άλλα.
Διαβάστε και ακολουθήστε της οδηγίες ασφαλείας πριν προχωρήσετε στην χρήση του συγκεκριμένου εργαλείου.
Κρατήστε τις οδηγίες αυτές σε ασφαλές και εύκολα προσβάσιμο χώρο.
1. Περιβάλλον χρήσης. Μη χρησιμοποιείτε ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία κάτω από συνθήκες βροχής ή υπερβολικής υγρασίας. Μη
χρησιμοποιείτε τα ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία κοντά σε εύφλεκτα υλικά. Χρησιμοποιήστε το εργαλείο σε περιβάλλον με καλό
φωτισμό.
2. Προστασία από ηλεκτροπληξία. Αποφύγετε την επαφή, όταν χρησιμοποιείτε ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία, με άλλες συσκευές που
πιθανόν να είναι γειωμένες. Κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας.
3. Φυλάξτε το εργαλείο σε ασφαλές περιβάλλον. Όταν δεν χρησιμοποιείτε το εργαλείο, φυλάξτε το σε ασφαλές, χωρίς
υγρασία περιβάλλον και μακριά από παιδιά.
4. Μην κακομεταχειρίζεστε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας ρεύματος. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε το καλώδιο για να μεταφέρετε τα
εργαλείο και μην χρησιμοποιείτε το καλώδιο για να βγάλετε το βύσμα από την πρίζα.
Προστατεύστε το από πηγές υψηλής θερμότητας και λάβετε μέτρα έτσι ώστε να μειωθεί ο κίνδυνος κοπής του καλωδίου.
5. Συντηρήστε προσεκτικά το εργαλείο. Διατηρήστε τα εργαλείο καθαρό για να εξασφαλίσετε την βέλτιστη λειτουργία του.
Ακολουθείτε της οδηγίες συντήρησης. Ελέγχετε συχνά το καλώδιο και το βύσμα για περιπτώσεις φθοράς.
Αν δείτε αλλοιώσεις σε αυτό, παραδώστε το για αντικατάσταση του καλωδίου ή του βύσματος σε ένα εξουσιοδοτημένο
service ή απευθυνθείτε στο αρχικό κατάστημα αγοράς του για πρόσθετες οδηγίες. Αν χρησιμοποιήσετε επέκταση
(μπαλαντέζα) βεβαιωθείτε ότι είναι σε καλή κατάσταση και ότι υπάρχουν οι απαραίτητες ασφάλειες στον ηλεκτρικό
πίνακα. Βεβαιωθείτε για την ύπαρξη γείωσης πριν προχωρήσετε σε οποιαδήποτε χρήση του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου.
6. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το εργαλείο δεν είναι συνδεδεμένο στο ρεύμα. Πριν από οποιαδήποτε εργασία συντήρησης και πριν
εφαρμόσετε σε αυτό οποιοδήποτε εξάρτημα βεβαιωθείτε ότι το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο δεν είναι συνδεδεμένο στο ρεύμα.
7. Αποφύγετε μη εσκεμμένη έναρξη λειτουργίας του εργαλείου. Μην μεταφέρετε το εργαλείο ενώ είναι
συνδεδεμένο στην παροχή ηλεκτρικού ρεύματος και μην έχετε το χέρι σας στον διακόπτη λειτουργίας άσκοπα.
Βεβαιωθείτε ότι ο διακόπτης λειτουργίας είναι στην θέση off όταν συνδέετε το εργαλείο στην παροχή ρεύματος.
8. Εργασίες με επέκταση παροχής ρεύματος σε εξωτερικούς χώρους. Όταν εργάζεστε σε εξωτερικούς χώρους και
χρησιμοποιείτε επέκταση βεβαιωθείτε ότι αυτή είναι εγκεκριμένη για χρήση σε εξωτερικούς χώρους.
Προσωπική ασφάλεια κατά την χρήση του εργαλείου.
1. Μείνετε σε επαγρύπνηση και προσέξτε τις κινήσεις σας κατά την χρήση του εργαλείου. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε το
συγκεκριμένο εργαλείο όταν είσαστε κουρασμένοι ήβρίσκεστε υπό την επήρεια ναρκωτικών, αλκοόλ, φαρμακευτικής
αγωγής και άλλων ουσιών. Μια στιγμή απροσεξίας μπορεί να φέρει την καταστροφή και να έχει σαν αποτέλεσμα τον
σοβαρότατο τραυματισμό σας.
2. Χρησιμοποιείτε όλα τα μέσα προσωπικής προστασίας. Χρησιμοποιείτε πάντα γυαλιά ασφαλείας ή οποιοδήποτε άλλο
τρόπο προστασίας. Η χρήση μάσκας προστασίας, αντιολισθητικών παπουτσιών, κράνους ασφαλείας και προστατευτικών
ακοής θα μειώσει κατά πολύ την πιθανότητα ατυχήματος.
3. Αποτρέψτε την πιθανότητα μη εσκεμμένης έναρξης λειτουργίας. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι ο διακόπτης είναι στην θέση off πριν
συνδέσετε το εργαλείο στην παροχή του ρεύματος. Μην έχετε το δάκτυλο σας στον διακόπτη λειτουργίας άσκοπα.

4. Μην τεντώνεστε για να φτάσετε σε κάποια μακρινή επιφάνεια. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι έχετε πάντα καλή ισορροπία και ότι
είστε πάντα με τα δυο πόδια στο πάτωμα.
5. Ντυθείτε καταλληλά. Μην φοράτε χαλαρά ρούχα η κοσμήματα. Διατηρήστε τα μαλλιά, τα ρούχα σας και τα γάντια σας
μακριά από κινούμενα μέρη.
6. Αν το εργαλείο είναι εφοδιασμένο με απορροφητή σκόνης ή κάποιο σύστημα αναρρόφησης, βεβαιωθείτε ότι αυτά
είναι σωστά συνδεδεμένα και λειτουργούν σωστά.
7. Χρησιμοποιήστε μόνο μέσα προσωπικής προστασίας που είναι εγκεκριμένα για την εργασία που θέλετε να
πραγματοποιήσετε. Τα γυαλιά προστασίας πρέπει να είναι κλάσης ANSI και η μάσκα κλάσης ΝΙΟSH.
Ασφάλεια και προστασία του εργαλείου.
1. Μην υπερφορτώνετε το εργαλείο. Χρησιμοποιήστε το κατάλληλο εργαλείο για την κατάλληλη δουλειά.
2. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε το εργαλείο αν δεν δουλεύει ο διακόπτης on-off. Οποιοδήποτε εργαλείο δεν μπορεί να ελεγχθεί
η λειτουργία του από τον διακόπτη, είναι επικίνδυνο και πρέπει να επιδιορθωθεί.
3. Αφαιρέστε το εργαλείο από την παροχή ρεύματος πριν προχωρήσετε σε οποιαδήποτε αλλαγή πάνω σε αυτό,
αλλάξετε κάποιο εξάρτημα και πριν το φυλάξετε. Τέτοια μέτρα προστασίας μειώνουν τον κίνδυνο της ακούσιας
εκκίνησης του εργαλείου.
4. Κρατήστε τα εργαλείο μακριά από τα παιδιά και μην αφήνετε άτομα να χρησιμοποιήσουν το εργαλείο αν δεν γνωρίζουν
τον τρόπο της ορθής χρήσης του. Τα ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία είναι επικίνδυνα στα χέρια ατόμων που δεν ξέρουν να τα
χρησιμοποιούν.
5. Συντήρηση του εργαλείου. Ελέγξτε την εφαρμογή των διαφόρων εξαρτημάτων και την ευθυγράμμιση των διαφόρων
κινουμένων μερών. Ελέγξτε όλα τα κινούμενα μέρη για φθορά. Αν παρατηρήσετε φθορά σε οποιοδήποτε εξάρτημα
επισκεφθείτε ένα εξουσιοδοτημένο service πριν χρησιμοποιήσετε το εργαλείο. Πολλά ατυχήματα συμβαίνουν λόγο κακής
συντήρησης.
6. Διατηρήστε το εργαλείο καθαρό και συντηρήστε το σωστά. Ένα σωστά συντηρημένο εργαλείο είναι πιο εύκολο
στην χρήση του και πιο ασφαλές.
7. Χρησιμοποιήστε το εργαλείο για τον σκοπό για τον οποίον προορίζεται, λαμβάνοντας υπόψιν τις συνθήκες, την δυσκολία
της εργασίας που θέλετε να εκτελέσετε και τις οδηγίες χρήσης. Η χρήση του εργαλείου για εργασίες για τις οποίες δεν
προορίζεται μπορεί να προκαλέσει βλάβη στο ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο και να οδηγήσει σε τραυματισμό.
SERVICE
Για οποιαδήποτε επισκευή χρειαστεί χρησιμοποιήστε μόνο γνήσια ανταλλακτικά και απευθυνθείτε σε εξουσιοδοτημένο
συνεργείο επισκευής.

Επιπρόσθετες οδηγίες ασφάλειας σχετικές με το κουρευτικό περιθωρίων
•Κρατήστε το εργαλείο από τις λαβές με την ειδική μόνωση όταν εργάζεστε σε σημείο όπου μπορεί να υπάρχουν κρυμμένα
καλώδια ρεύματος κλπ. Η επαφή με ένα ηλεκτροφόρο καλώδιο μπορεί να προκαλέσει ηλεκτροπληξία στον χειριστή.
•Χρησιμοποιήστε ακουστικά προστασίας για χρήση σε εκτεταμένο χρονικό διάστημα.
•Χειριστείτε τα κοπτικά εργαλεία με προσοχή.
•Ελέγξτε το κοπτικό εργαλείο πριν την χρήση με προσοχή. Αντικαταστήστε τα φθαρμένα κοπτικά εργαλεία με καινούργια
γνήσια.
•Αποφύγετε την κοπή καρφιών. Επιθεωρήστε και αφαιρέστε όλα τα καρφιά από το κομμάτι επεξεργασίας πριν την
χρήση του εργαλείου.
•Κρατήστε το εργαλείο σταθερά.
•Κρατήστε τα χέρια σας μακριά από τα περιστρεφόμενα εξαρτήματα του εργαλείου.
