Mis n march d la montr
Couronne en position 1. Cette posi-
tion permet de remonter le mouve-
ment.
Puis repous-
ser la couronne en position 1. Après
cette opération, donner un tour à
la couronne vers le bas (▼) afin de
s’assurer qu’elle tourne librement.

Att ntion
Cette montre est garantie étanche à
3 bar (30 m), à condition que la cou-
ronne soit en position 1.
L’art et la forme
Avec son boîtier «tonneau» au pro-
fil galbé, la ligne Héritage repré-
sente une véritable prouesse tech-
nique. Elle allie une forme du XXe
siècle à une esthétique fidèle aux
principes d’A.-L. Breguet. Le guillo-
chage de la surface bombée du
cadran exige de l’artisan une habi-
leté hors du commun. Sobre, élégante
et raffinée, votre montre Héritage
porte bien son nom: elle symbolise
la passion créative que nous per-
pétuons depuis l’époque de notre
fondateur.
Le régulateur à tourbillon – la
plus célèbre invention d’A.-L. Breguet
triser.

Important not
This watch is guaranteed water-resis-
tant to 3 bar (30 m), provided the
crown is in position 1.
In harmony with time
The tonneau-shaped HÉRITAGE re-
presents a technical and aesthetic
achievement in the great Breguet
tradition. The case is cambered
and the formidable task of hand-
engraving the curved surface of
the dial, with its delicate “guilloché”
decoration, represents a triumph
of artistry and skill. The HÉRITAGE sym-
bolises a love of creativity that we
have perpetuated since our founder’s
time. It has earned its name, and its
right to be placed so elegantly on your
wrist.
A.-L. Breguet’s historic invention,
the tourbillon regulator, was patent-
ed in 1801. This device was con-
ceived to compensate for the errors
in rate caused by the constant
changes in the watch’s position. It
consists of mounting the escape-
ment and sprung balance in a
mobile carriage which rotates on
itself with utter regularity. Errors
are thus reproduced regularly and
cancel each other out, rather than
accumulating. Two centuries later
it remains a technical “tour de
force” of which very few watch-
makers are capable.

logio, effettuare una carica completa
ruotando la corona in senso ora rio

In armonia col Tempo
L’orologio HÉRITAGE, caratterizzato
dalla cassa a «tonneau», è un
capo -
lavoro della tecnica. Perfetta
imma -
gine della tradizione Breguet,
associa
una forma tipica del
Nove cento
ai principi estetici che
ispirarono
A.-L. Breguet.
La raffinata incisione
a «guilloché»
del quadrante incur-
vato esige dal l’artigiano una mae-
stria eccezionale.
Sobrio, elegante e
raffinato,
l’oro logio HÉRITAGE onora
in tutto e per tutto il suo nome, e
incarna
l’eredità che A.-L.
Breguet
ha lasciato alla Casa da lui fonda-
ta.
Il regolatore a tourbillon, la più
famosa invenzione di A.-L. Breguet,
fu brevettato nel 1801. Questo
geniale dispositivo nacque per com-
pensare le irrego larità di marcia
provocate dai continui cambia-
menti di posizione dell’orologio. Il
tourbillon è formato da una gab-
bietta mobile, rotonda, che contie-
ne il bilanciere-spirale e lo scapa-
mento. Ruotando su se stesso con
estrema regolarità, esso fa sì che gli
scarti di marcia si annullino reci-
procamente invece di sommarsi.
Oggi, a due secoli di distanza,
costruire un tourbillon rappresen-
ta ancor sempre una prodezza tec-
nologica di cui sono capaci solo
orologiai espertissimi.
